My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.

春节是最隆重的节日，虽然每个地区的风俗不同，但过春节那种喜庆的气氛却洋溢在每个人的心里。

当春节将要来临时，大人们总会带着孩子去逛街。逛街的第一件大事是买年货，小孩子们贪嘴，大人们也跟着一起吃。年货还要用来招待客人。第二件大事是买新衣，好在新年时显示出万象更新的气象。第三件大事是买饺子皮，为新年包饺子用。春节将来临的大街，就像一幅流动的画，人山人海。你听，大人为了给小孩买一件既称心又如意的新衣，正在“卖力”地与老板讨价还价。你看，当东西又卖出去时，老板脸上那眯缝的双眼。你闻，那一家家视频铺子里传出的醉人香气，真是让人口水直流三千尺！除夕，让我觉得又爱又恨！对除夕的爱，是每当除夕时，我们一家人围在一张小方桌上包饺子。先把饺子皮平放在左手上，用右手沾点水涂在饺子皮周围。然后用勺子把搅拌好的肉馅放在饺子皮中间。接着把饺子皮对折，捏紧边缘处。最好，为饺子添上花边，放入锅子里蒸熟，就可以吃了。吃饺子的方法很多，可以水煮，可以煎着吃，还可以蒸熟了就直接吃。直接吃时不要太着急，否则你的舌头可就要遭殃了！

对除夕的恨，源于那漫长的守夜。漫漫长夜，我昏昏欲睡，可那能睡呢！当天一亮，收了一整夜的我觉得终于解脱了，正向伸伸懒腰补个觉。可大人们连“窗”都没开，何况“门”呢！大人们接着用把”魔爪“伸向我们，让我们穿新衣，去亲戚家拜年。虽然很疲倦，但收到压岁钱后，那种疲劳的感觉便消失的无影无踪。

家乡虽是个小镇，但春节也是过得分外热闹的！我爱我的家乡，也爱家乡的春节。
