冬天到了，小河结冰了，站在厚厚的冰层上面，可以看见河底青褐色的石头，小鱼都去哪儿了呢？原来，小鱼都躲到河底过冬去了，河边的树木只剩下光秃秃的枝干，它们在为春天的生长积蓄力量。

可是，几年之后，我无法说出小河到底是怎么了，只是感觉跟以前完全不一样了，河里飘满了垃圾，河水的颜色也变的浑浊，发出一阵阵难闻的气味。

春天，冰融化了，河里只剩下了垃圾，小鱼已经没有了踪影，就连春姑娘也不愿意光临这里了。

夏天，已经没有人到河边玩耍了，小河里散发着一股恶臭，河岸边都是垃圾，河边果园里的果树也都砍伐了，我来到河边，仿佛可以听到小河在哭泣。

秋天，树叶早早的都落光了，河岸边的野菊花也不再开放，没有了果园，果子的香味也消失了，小蜜蜂也失望的到别的地方采蜜去了。

冬天，小河里结的冰灰蒙蒙的，河边的大树摇着干枯的枝干好像在说：“求求你，快把这些垃圾搬走吧”！我感觉今年冬天比以往的冬天都要寒冷。

通过家乡的小河这几年的巨大变化，我懂得了一个道理：保护环境，就是保护人类自己。所以我们要立即行动起来，从一点一滴的小事做起，为保护环境贡献自己的一点力量。
