在观看了语文老师下载的四个励志短片后，我感触良多，马云的一句话令我铭记在心：“今天残酷，明天更残酷，后天很美好，但是有很多人死在明天晚上。”在即将见到曙光的那一刻他们放弃了，因为他们没有坚持到最后。这番话让我想到了播放的第一个视频。外国一支橄榄球队即将迎战一支强队，队员尤其队长没有信心，教练在训练场地上叫队长做“死亡爬行”，双臂支撑地面，膝盖不碰地，背扛160磅的队员爬行50码。队长在教练不断鼓励下，忍受难以想象的痛苦，坚持到最后，终于爬行到50码底线，他的坚持深深感动了教练与队员，也震撼了我们每一个学生。

生活中，我很少坚持着去做某一件事，如果在做这一件事的途中遇到了困难，我就会半途而废。例如做数学题做不来了，怎么想也想不出来，于是便对自己说：“去学校问同学吧，他们肯定会做的。”现在想想真是可笑，同样的一道题，为什么别人会做，而你不会呢，不是因为你笨，而是因为你没有坚持，或许只要你再坚持一下，这道题就做出来了。

视频中那位队长的经历让我体会到了一个道理：只要你坚持去做一件事，肯定能成功，坚持可以挖掘你的潜能，让不可能成为可能，坚持就是胜利。阿里巴巴创始人马云为何能拥有今日世人瞩目的成就？就因为他有一个梦想，有一个承诺，有一份坚持。

我坚信：坚持就是成功的秘诀。

When it comes to success, different people have different opinions about

what makes it come true. Some people regard hard-working as an essential quality

to success while others believe being clever would lead to success. From my

point of view, I think perseverance and hard-working are indispensable for those

who want to make an achievement.

Firstly, perseverance let people step closely towards success. Most people

want to make a big difference to prove their value. People who set their goal

and keep moving would make their dream come true. However, there are some people

who set their goal but they stop at the difficulty would fail in the end. I

think the difference between success and failure is perseverance. If we have

perseverance, even if we are not clever, we will make a great difference, but if

we not, we are doomed to lose. As we all know, Edison is a great inventor in the

world. However, before he invented the bulb, he kept trying for tens of

thousands of times to find a suitable wire. Let us imagine, if he gave up at the

999th, then how he couldn’t become so successful. So, I strongly believe that

perseverance produces success.

Secondly, there is also a kind of people who are born with cleverness, I

think they are lucky. Nevertheless, if they don’t make a hard work on their way

to their goal, they, absolutely, will become loser. Whether we are gifted for

intelligent, we must be hard-working so as to success. I regard hard-working as

an efficient approach to be successful because I believe ‘pains and gains’. As

for those who do not make great efforts on work, failure follows. In old times,

there is a clever boy who can make excellent poem when he can talk. When his

father found the little child’s cleverness, he just let the child make poems to

show around while never let the boy learned anything. When the boy grew up,

people forgot him because he lost the ability to compose poems and became

ordinary as others. From this matter, we can see that only by hard-working can

we get knowledge and make a good future.

Anyway, I think perseverance and hard-working are both important in our way

to success for they enhance us and produce success.

There are many characteristic exist in the world, and characteristic is

very important to people. For example, active, persistence, optimistic makes

people successful; lazy, passive makes people fail. Having a good characteristic

means you have the key to the successful door, but you have to find the way of

success. This is what I am going to talk about, the key to success:

persistence.

Persistence is a key to success, whether for a single person or an

organization. People who lack of it would mean failure in reaching a certain

goal. People need to know that success seldom comes easily on the first try;

they should have the patient to insist trying until they get the goal.

Unsuccessful people try something just a few times, and when it fails, they give

up; they usually pass the blame onto someone or something, and learn nothing

from their experience. Successful people are different, even they fail, and they

won’t lose their passion.

Let me take a famous person to example. His name is Da Vinci, he is known

as a great painter, artist. Everyone knows him, but I think there are not much

people known that how much effort did he made before he became a famous artist.

Da Vinci draw eggs everyday when he was young, hundreds and thousands times a

day. It is definite a boring work, many people could not bear to face an egg and

draw it in different angle thousands times. But Da Vinci did it, and he made it.

We could say it is not for his persistence that he would not get the great

aptitude for painting.

Talent is a gift from god, persistence is a key you’ve got, and effort

makes those working which bring you to open the door of success.

“成功”是指什么？“成功的秘诀”又是指的什么？这个问题在我心中无法得到答案，但经过那一次，这个谜团终于解开了。

那是一个下午，我刚吃完饭，就被老师叫到了校长办公室外，对屋里的高老师说：“让这个孩子也试试吧！”高老师点了点头，叫我到里屋去。那里面有许多人：张湘楠、程雅慧、向乐乐、张文杰、卓金巧……我心想：这不是要选“六一”文艺汇演的主持人吧！一想到这儿，我的心就怦怦直跳。高老师对我们说：“你们把这张纸上的内容读熟，等会儿我看谁读的好。”说完，他递给我们一张纸。听了高老师的话，我立马行动起来，其他人也不例外。后来，我、张湘楠、张文杰还有朱磊被选中了，高老师说：“以后每天下午，你们都到孟芬老师办公室去练习台词。”

那天下午，我照常到孟芬老师办公室进练习。正当我读到《想爸妈》的台词的时，孟老师一脸不悦地说：“你读得一点感情也没有，应该…”。于是我又读了一遍，还是受到了老师的批评。这时，我的泪水开始在眼眶里打转转，心里想打“退堂鼓”。老师似乎看出了我的心思，便和颜悦色地对我说：“老师不是骂你，只是希望你能做得更好。就像毛泽东说的；‘要想不经过艰难险阻，不付出极大的努力，总是一帆风顺，容易得到成功，这种想法只是幻想’。如果你不努力，在你身后努力的人就会超过你，而你却还在原地踏步。”听了老师的话，我收回了自己那‘不争气’的泪水。打那以后，我再也没有萌生出“放弃”这样的想法。

“六一”文艺汇演那天，我成功完成了自己的使命，心里别提有多高兴了，心里比吃了蜜还甜。

通过这次主持节目，我明白了：“如果在通往成功的路上必须要经过一条河，那么坚持和努力必定是那条河上的桥梁！”

俗话说：“失败乃成功之母。”如果没有失败，哪来成功之说，爱迪生发明电灯失败了无数次，但最后一次他成功了，这其中成功的秘诀就在于他的坚持不懈与努力，这就像是我朋友自创的名言——努力不一定成功，但成功必须努力。

有这样一则故事：香港海洋公园有一条大鲸鱼，虽然重达8600公斤，但却能够跃出水面6、6米，还能向游客表演各种杂技，面对这条创造奇迹的鲸鱼，人们便感到好奇，向训练师请教训练这条鲸鱼的秘诀。训练师回答说，刚开始时，他们会先把绳子放在水面之下，使鲸鱼不得不从绳子上方通过，每通过一次，鲸鱼就会得到奖励，后来，他们每次都会把绳子提高，但是每次提高的幅度都很小，这样鲸鱼不需要花费多大的力量就能跃过去，还会得到奖励。随着时间的推移，鲸鱼跃过的高度逐渐上升，最后达到了6.6米。训练师告诉我们，他们训练鲸鱼成功的秘诀就是每次让它进步一点点。

这则故事告诉我们，成功其实很简单，看上去的一点点的事，随着时间的推移，日积月累便取得了惊人的进步。如果您还有疑问那就请看看我的经历。

我是一位高中生，在高一时，语文与理综性题目总是做不好，成绩也是很差。在高二时，我改变了自己的学习方法及态度，当然面临的第一问题便是语文，我想了想，对自己说了一句话：我是中国人，连自己的母语都说不好还能干什么呢？自那以后，我对语文便有着高度的热情，只因我时刻提醒自己，我是个中国，所以我要学好语文。每一次的考试，每一次的卡测，我都认真地对待，分析自己的不足，然后改正，经过高二一个学期的学习，我不仅语文成绩进步了很多，也让我对理综有了强烈的兴趣。其实，我语文成绩进步的秘诀就在于一天天地积累。

成功，其实很简单，真的很简单，我们挑战的不是明天而是今天，如果今天没有遗憾的过去，那么你就是成功的。让今天的我们开始播种，让明天的我们开始收获。

当夜幕降临的时候，家家户户都打开了电灯。电灯把黑暗的大地装饰得五颜六色。

不用说，电影你肯定看过的。想想看，铃一响，灯一熄，银幕上映出千变万化的镜头，他们把你带到各种不同的境界。你随着剧情的发展而喜怒哀乐，情感很影片中的人物融为一体。你可知道，这发明电灯、电影的是谁呢?他就是美国著名的爱迪生。爱迪生为什么能有这么多的发明呢?

我怀着好奇的心情读完了《爱迪生》这本书。原来爱迪生从小热爱科学，勤奋自学，立志把自己的一上生献给科学，刻苦专研，顽强攻关。最让我感动的是，他在造福于人类的强烈愿望鼓舞下，以坚忍不拔的毅力，在千万次失败面前不灰心，不后退，克服重重困难，终于完成了电灯、电影、留声机和蓄电池等两千多中发明，成为人尊敬和爱戴的发明家。

以前，我的梦想是当一名医生，为受伤的病人治病。 读了《爱迪生》以后我希望自己是科学家。我想，如果真的成了科学家，我能不能成为一个中国的爱迪生呢?能不能发明很多的东西?一个又一个问号，在我脑海了盘旋。

光想不做，先试试，我把床边的闹钟拆了，从装闹钟开始。从早上装到中午，从中午装到下午。整整一天，不是多一、二个零件，就是少了个零件，这里装好，那边的零件又掉下。我给自己打气，我要做科学家，我一定要装好。吃饭一完，又躲进房间，忙起来。

爸爸对我一天关在自己的房间里，很好奇，问我出了什么事。我就老老实实把我的想法告诉他了。爸爸听完，哈哈大笑：“傻瓜，你想做科学家就能变成科学家。要做科学家，你必须先把文化知识学好。”我摸摸自己脑袋，不好意思了。

爸爸突然记起还没有检查我的家庭作业。我犹豫一会，才慢慢吞吞拿出来，为了装闹钟，家庭作业我是马马虎虎完事，爸爸，肯定会批评我。果然，爸爸的脸一下子沉了下来：“这么潦草的字重写。”“爸爸，今天这么晚了，我明天一定认真写，保证很认真。”我撒娇，希望能得到父亲的原谅。

爸爸指着桌上放的《爱迪生》说：“爱迪生为了研制电灯，在实验室里常常一天工作十几个小时，有时连续几天试验，发明炭丝作灯丝后。他又接连试验了1600多种植物纤维，最后又选用竹丝。如果爱迪生跟你一样，稍微一点困难，就退缩，能发明电灯吗?像你这样在困难面前退却的人，能实现你的科学梦吗?”

爸爸的话，说得我哑口无言，无地自容，拿起钢笔，一笔一划，重写家庭作业。

“天才是百分之九十九的汗水，加上百分之一的灵感。”从那天晚上后，爱迪生这句深深铭记在我心中，它将激励我下定决心，克服困难，为祖国的腾飞做贡献。
