On a remote top-secret floating facility called Aquatica, a team of scientists are searching for a cure for Alzheimers disease. The team consists of Dr. Susan McCallister , the scientist behind the experiment who decided to begin finding a cure after seeing her father suffers from Alzheimer Jim Whitlock; Dr. Janice Higgins; Carter Blake , a shark wrangler; Tom Scoggins, an engineer; etc.

Despite Blakes warnings, McCallister violates the code of ethics and creates three genetically engineered mako sharks. Her intent is to increase their brain capacity so the scientists can harvest tissue as a cure for Alzheimers. Unfortunately, the increased brain capacity also makes the sharks smarter, faster and more aggressiveas well as growing to the size of great white sharks, gaining increased memory, and being able to swim backwards. Aquaticas financial backers are skeptical about the tests and following the attack on the teens, send corporate executive Russell Franklin to visit the facility.

In order to prove that the research is worth it, the team schedules a test to remove brain fluid bearing the protein complex from the largest shark. After removing the tissue, they rejoice as it brings test cells back temporarily. However, after the test, the shark breaks free and bites off Whitlocks arm. Blake tries to shoot it, but McCallister saves it by pressing the release button, sending it back to the holding pen. An emergency request is made for paramedics, while the team gets Whitlock to the surface.

首先，我认为毅力要比其他三个个性都要重要。总所周知，人不可能总是在第一次尝试的时候就成功地达到自己的目标，肯定会有很多阻碍等着他。因此，人们会在多次失败后才会取得胜利。如果他没有坚持不断地努力和突破，他将会保持静止状态，没有进步。他不可能前进甚至是倒退。一个没有毅力的人不能取得最终的成功。

Secondly, a man who wants to be successful should also own the characteristic of prudence. The inventor of the electric bulb gives a good example for explaining that. It is said that the inventor tried to use thousands kinds of metal to make electric bulb filament in order to find the most suitable metal which can let the lamp light longer and brighter. I suppose that without the very prudential work, the inventor could not triumph in the end. A self- made man should do his jobs with prudence, sometimes even should be careful doing a very trivial thing. Like when those scientists or mathematicians are dealing with a complex matter, if they make a small mistake, the efforts which they made before will be in vain. Accordingly, cautiousness is necessary.

其次，一个人想要取得成功的人还应该有谨慎的性格。电灯的发明者就为解释这一点提供了一个很好的例子。据说，发明者试图用几千种金属来找到最合适的的金属做电灯泡灯丝使得灯的寿命更长、更亮。我觉得如果发明者不是非常谨慎工作，他不可能在最后取得胜利。一个靠自己努力而成功的人应该是谨慎地工作，有时连一些很琐碎的事情甚至都要小心。就像当那些科学家和数学家正在处理一个复杂的问题时，如果他们犯了一丁点的错误，他们之前的努力都将是徒劳的。因此，谨慎是很有必要的。

In addition, the self- made men all are self-confident and courageous. As the saying goes, “fortune never helps the man whose courage has failed.” Supposed that a soldier loses his confidence and gallantry to fight when he is in the field of the battle, I am sure that he does not have the fortune to survive successfully. Therefore people who want to achieve their goals in their work all should be self-confident and courageous.

In a word, my view regarding those famous people’s success is that they persist in working hard, do their jobs with prudence, are confident in themselves and have courage to overcome any kinds of difficulties; it is the reason that they can make themselves into a celebrity and admired by others.

总之，我对于名人成功的看法是，他们坚持努力工作，谨慎，对自己有信心，有克服任何困难的勇气。这就是他们之所以成为名人并受人敬仰的原因。

世界上有没有成功的秘诀?自然，像“天书”一样的成功秘诀是没有的，那是神话，不过在现实生活中每个人都有成功的秘诀，只要用心去发现。我们每个人都有成功，不过每个人的成功都是来之不易的。成功的秘诀是什么?成功的秘诀是坚持、不退缩，成功的秘诀是不断地去尝试，成功的秘诀是必胜的信念。

这段时间以来，老师让我和李齐浩、何沐晨等几位同学参加乒乓球活动，其中，跟何沐晨对练的是我们的教练——李齐浩，李齐浩总是得意扬扬的飞速打过乒乓球，不给何沐晨留下一点接球的机会，何沐晨总得捡球，打了几个星期(每节下课打)，连李齐浩都不耐烦了。我想，何沐晨肯定也不想捡球了，可是出乎意料的是，他捡起了球，脸上没有一点不屑的表情，便打给了李齐浩。不久，何沐晨能接李齐浩三球的事实已经映入我的眼帘，他不怕捡球，就怕学不会乒乓球，因为他知道坚持就是胜利，从哪里摔倒就从哪里爬起来，这是何沐晨坚毅的品格，不论在哪里都非常坚持，相信他一定会成功的!

我国乒乓球冠军邓亚萍，就是经过这样坎坷的磨难。开始，教练都讽刺她，说她个子太矮，不能打乒乓球。可是，在她的脑海里只有一个梦想，那就是当上乒乓球冠军，她一直朝着目标前行，曾有多少球员讽刺她，她还是不退缩，因为，她相信雨后会有彩虹，她相信坚持恒力无限，最后，她成功了，如愿以偿的成功获得了奥运会冠军!邓亚萍的秘诀不是补药等营养药剂，也不是先天因素所造成的，更不是世界上最好的乒乓球教练教过她，而是坚持，是坚持让她一次次失败之后又重新站起来，是坚持让她一次次冲上去勇往直前，她知道朝着目标坚持下去就会成功。

爱迪生的一生也跟邓亚萍一样艰辛。爱迪生是美国一位著名的科学家，他很喜欢科学研究，他一直热衷于做科学实验，但每一次实验都失败了，可他从来没有放弃过，一直坚持着，终于，在一个夜晚，他成功了，从此，他常常发明出实用的东西，电车、幻灯、有声电影、发电机、电动机、蓄电池、留声机、碳丝灯泡……共一千多项，为全世界人民营造了良好的生活，当然，在他做这些东西的时候，曾有不少人嘲笑他，但他一直没有退缩，当人们访问他成功秘诀时，他说：“天才是百分之九十九的汗水，加上百分之一的灵感。”

这让我明白了，成功的人或天才并不是一开始就是天才，必须得经过不断的尝试，不断的坚持，这样只要不断追求卓越，成功就在不经意间。以前，刚学写作文时没东西写，写不好，后来在爸爸的鼓励下坚持写，随着喜欢上语文，我的总成绩逐渐提升，由以前总在班级第三名徘徊到上学期期末的并列第一名，受到老师的重用，也当上了班长。我要学习这些人的敢想、敢做、敢成败，为了自己的梦想十分坚持，高标准要求自己，把全身心的精力和热情都投入到学习上，实现自己的理想目标!

坚持而做到有毅力，坚持不懈。美国科学家，爱迪生，他发明了电灯。在他小时候，因为家人生病需要做急性手术，但因为他家中的光线没有达到做手术的要求，所以医生也没有一定的把握将手术做好，然而他的举动使在场的人惊叹，他把家里所有的蜡烛都点燃放在一面大镜子前面，顿时光线增强了多少倍，从而使这场手术成功完成，而他也从中得到了启发，开始了他的科学之旅，发明电灯的时候，他想找一个能做灯丝的材料，为了找到这种材料，他做了近千次的实验，而每次的实验结果都以失败告终，但他还是没有放弃，终于他找到了“钨”这种材料，才使得他成功发明了电灯，推动了第二次科技革命，被人们誉为“发明大王”

在生活中，我们也会遇到很多困难，失败与挫折，但这些对我们来说，未必都是坏事，我们可以从失败中得到教训与经验，在困难与挫折中得到前进的动力，只有这样，才会赢得属于自己的一片蓝天。

科比是NBA著名的篮球明星，他曾经四次率领洛杉矶湖人队登上NBA年度总冠军的宝座。有一次，一位记者在采访中曾经这样问科比：“你为什么如此成功呢?”

天才出自勤奋。这句话说得不错，勤能补拙，即使这个人不是天才，但经过勤奋地学习，不断地努力，一定能成为一个天才。但是，如果这个人天资聪颖，出生下来就是个天才，他引以为傲，但不勤奋地学习，懒惰成习，那么，即使他再聪明，也会变愚笨。所以，一个人不管他天赋怎么样，只要经过勤奋，就一定能够成为天才。

刚刚放学，我就被老师叫到办公室，我想；八成又是坏事吧！我的心咚咚直跳，轻手轻脚的走进办公室，低声问；老师找我有事吗？我看见了老师头紧皱，正在拿着前天的考试卷子，突然就有了一种不祥的预感。

老师告诉我我英语考了94分，我居然考了意料之外的分数，94分。我想；不会呀！怎么会考94分，过老师的一番夸奖我脸红了。领到卷子后我才知道，这是细心的结果，这是几个月来刻苦努力的结果。我才想起，原来，考的低分是不细心，不读题的后果，如果做宇宙飞船的人们忽疏了一个小数点，造成的后果是可想而知的。

我渐渐低下了头，才知道，一个人要想把事情做好，首先要做到细心，因为只有细心才能把问题追根个水落石出，而就为了细心，我几乎天天做阅读、完型，这让我明白了不要认为只要勤奋过就会永远聪明，只要你一懒惰下来，为自己取得的成就感到自满，骄傲时，那么你也会从天才降级为平凡的人。人不应该拥有骄傲自满的心态，否则再勤奋也没用。勤奋应该为每个人所拥有的心态。

勤奋，是成功的秘诀，也是成功的铺路石。一分耕耘一分收获，一分辛苦一分才。没有耕耘，没有辛苦，就没有收获，没有知识。

词汇拼写错误较为严重，词汇选用上会有不当的情况。

应对策略就是平时阅读过程中注意单词拼写，关注单词使用语境，多积累高级词汇和句型。

语法掌握不好，句子的基本构成主谓结构掌握不清。

Due to the fact that the mental state, we have to keep a balance between the physical and the mental.

这句话中，due to the fact that后面需要接一个句子，而上句中只是一个名词性短语，所以错误。另外，between...and...需要连接两个名词短语，上句中形容词physical和mental后缺少名词性成分。改正为Due to the fact that the mental state plays a significant role, we have to keep a balance between the physical well-being and the mental health.

格式不正确，结构不清晰，汉语式英文思维太过明显，翻译的过程中常常不合英文写作要求。

应对的策略是多阅读范文，写作前列提纲，注意使用衔接词。

格式不正确常常出现在应用文中，有人会忘记写落款。这是我们在写作过程中特别需要注意的，否则格式错误就要相应的扣分。另外，有些文章结构不清晰，或者没有分段，或者段落之间的内容混乱。开头段就开始论述问题，第二段提出建议，结尾段又给出原因，逻辑混乱不清，抓不住重点。所以我们在写文章时一定要先打腹稿，明确行文结构和大概内容，这样在写作过程中才不至于不知道说什么，甚至瞎写一通。

总而言之，新大纲非常强调大家的英语写作技能，我们在平时的备考过程中一定要多进行英文文章的写作，养成良好的写作习惯，注意单词拼写、语法检查、逻辑结构，这样写出的文章才能过关。
