1956年10月，中央任命聂荣臻为国务院副总理、科学规划委员会党组书记，他肩上的担子更重了。在那段时间，聂荣臻连打网球、打台球的时间都没有了，甚至把台球桌交还给了有关单位，看球的机会也少了。但他始终坚持散步。无论是盛夏还是寒冬，他总要利用各种机会走一走、散散步。聂荣臻曾说过：身体是革命事业的资本，这个资本不能丢。他还以亲身体会向他人介绍散步的好处与方法。三年自然灾害期间，有一次，一些干部向他反映：我们的科技人员，甚至有一些老科学家，由于缺少必要的食品与营养，不少人得了浮肿病。聂荣臻得知后心情十分不安。他立即以自己的名义向海军、北京、广州、济南、沈阳等军区领导同志呼吁，请求他们尽快设法给予支援，调拨给国防科研战线一批猪肉、鱼、海带、黄豆、水果等副食品。这些食品以中央和军委的名义很快分配给了每个专家和科技人员。他自己带头捐款购买营养品分送给科研第一线的知识分子，还呼吁大家都来关心科研工作者的身体健康，并要求各级行政领导和政治机关工作人员做好科研人员的后勤工作，关心他们的吃饭、住房、小孩入托、两地分居、业余生活、体育锻炼等问题。他说：要把科研工作者的身体健康问题作为大事来抓，好身体是搞科研的资本，这个资本丢不得。

I like to do all kinds of sports, in the morning, I will do some jogging and in the evening, sometime I will go to the gym with my friends. My favorite sport is playing tennis, tennis brings my life so much happiness, I can watch the match while talking to my friends happily. When I was small, one day, when I went home after school, I felt bored and opened the TV, then I saw the tennis match. Sports and games build our bodies, prevent us from getting too fat, and keep us healthy. They also give us valuable practice in helping the eyes, brain and muscles to work together. like sports so much. When I was very small, my father took me to watch the

我之所以喜欢爬杆这项运动，是因为我在上幼儿园的时候，我是我们班女生里最淘气的一个，大家都叫我“淘汽包”。而我爬杆这项运动也是很多女生不敢做的，全班只有两个女生敢和男生比，我就是其中一个，这让我很自豪。

我记得那是一个阳光明媚的早上，我和两个男生比赛爬杆。虽然我是个淘气包什么都敢跟男生比，但是我从小就有点恐高，所以爬着爬着感觉越来越怕，只好灰溜溜地滑了下来。我低着头说：“我……我……我输了!”其实我的心里有一百个的不服气。

放学后，我一回到家，就冲到我家后院那根栏杆前，开始慢慢地练习。不知不觉地，我已经爬到了最高处，我一往下看，“啊……吓死我啦!”我从没有爬过这么高的地方，大豆般的汗珠从我的脸颊直往下流。

怎么才能去掉我恐高的毛病呢?我坐在秋千上闷头苦想着。这时，爸爸过来问我怎么了，我把事情的经过讲给爸爸听，爸爸告诉说：“只要身体保持平衡，不要向下看，你就不会害怕了。”我按爸爸的话一次又地尝试着，可是我每次都会情不自禁地滑下来，我回想爸爸跟我讲的话，把眼睛闭着，身体保持平衡，我又试了几次，哦……我成功了，我从栏杆下来后，好开心!我第一时间把这个好消息告诉爸爸。

第二天，我和那两个男生又在幼儿园展开了一场激烈的爬杆比赛，比赛开始后，我的好朋友都在下面鼓励我，而我的心里却像十五个吊桶打水七上八下。两个男生猴子似的往上爬，可他们都没能爬到最高点。我也不甘示弱，终于我没有辜负好朋友们对我的期望，我赢了，我的好朋友都围着我为我喝彩。两个男生也只好认输。

从那以后我和爬杆结下了不解之缘。爬杆给我带来了健康，带来了快乐。
