School Sports Meeting

Last month we had a sports meeting. Though the weather wasnt very fine that day, the students were all very excited and the whole school was alive. This time, I was even more excited.

其实每一节英语课我都觉得很有趣，也很认真的听老师讲课，我喜欢英语我要好好的学习英语，要像我们束老师一样说一口流利的英语，长大以后能到国外去看看。

Every year in October, our school will have the tradition to hold a sports

meeting. It is the biggest event of the year, so all the students will practise

very hard to win the biggest honor. Relay race is the most important match,

because it involves so many students to take part in, showing the unity of a

team. Last year, our class won the second place. We lagged behind the champion

just a little distance, so we hoped to defeated them this time and won the first

prize. We have practised very hard, and every student in the team wanted to make

the breakthrough. When the match finally began, we ran very fast and kept our

Salaries should reflect people’s dedication and job responsibilities. However, sports figures, who don’t benefit the community in general, earn millions of dollars each. In my opinion this is wrong. Things should be done to change this situation.

If we take the example of a sport star such as Tyson, it is hard for us to say in what way he benefits the society. In fact, his disobeying game rules sets a bad example for young people, and his abandoned behavior encourages people to experiment with sex and violence. Besides, his job does not require special skills or years of training and education. Although he can entertain and excite audience, I do not think he is justified to receive so much money and his job can be considered essential.

On the other hand, most people in ‘ordinary’ professions like nurses, doctors and teachers earn only a small fraction of the income of these “stars”. However, if we give a careful look at these professions, we will find that they not only require special skills and years of education but also help the people and the whole society. For instance, teachers disseminate knowledge to the society; doctors and nurses give patients good medical care and prolong their life. Their salaries should relate to skill, education or the value of the inpidual to society.

男子单人健美操第一组的大哥哥在比赛中时不时来个飞跃，真是太优美了。还有第五组的那个男生，还在那扭屁股呢。怎么看都像是个女生，我都差点吐了，结果他只得了7。96分。还有一名男生像小金鱼跳舞一样，跳得非常娴熟，取得了小学部男子单人健美操比赛的冠军。

我也暗暗下定决心，也要好好练好健美操，以后有机会能参加这样的比赛，锻炼自己的胆量。无论是做操还是学习都要下功夫。

my favourite sport

good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. it’s my great pleasure to be here sharing my speech with you. today my topic is my favourite sport.

look at my healthy skin , oh! can you guess which sport i like best? yes,its swimming !thats why i look so handsome.

when i was only 5 years old, i began to learn how to swim and i like it. i think swimming is an interesting sport and its exciting. its also a good way to keep fit .

every summer, i go to swimming school . my parents say i’ll have a good health if i insist swimming in a right way. and i can grow taller if i go to swim often. so i always ask my coach some questions on swimming and he always helps me a lot. i can swim so well and i can swim breaststroke, backstroke and freestyle.

下午好,女士们,先生们。我很高兴能在这里与你分享我的演讲。今天我演讲的主题是我最喜欢的运动。

看我的健康的肤色,哦!你能猜出我最喜欢哪项运动?是的,这是游泳!这就是为什么我看起来很帅。

当我只有5岁的时候,我开始学习如何游泳,我喜欢它。我认为游泳是一个有趣的运动,这是令人兴奋的。这也是一个很好的方式来保持健康。

每年夏天,我就去游泳学校。

我爱运动，因为运动可以使我的身体健康、增强抵抗力、增加肺活量，也可以使我长高，体力变得很好，这样读书才比较不会疲累；我爱运动，因为我喜欢那种汗流浃背、通体舒畅的感觉，好像如武侠小说所说的“打通任督二脉”那么地令人舒坦；我也喜欢运动过后，那种全身放松、腾空自我的感觉，有一种“鱼游深底”的空灵，叫人喜爱不已。

我爱运动，我喜爱溜直排轮、打球、健行、跑步等运动，其中我最喜欢溜直排轮。假日的时候，爸爸妈妈都会带我和弟弟去溜直排轮。那里的场地是室内的，而且有冷气，虽然如此，我和弟弟还是汗水淋漓，翱游在溜冰场中，我突然感到我就像是“天地一沙鸥”的岳纳珊，直行、横冲、后退，我展现令人惊羡的美姿，徜徉于自我满足的天地里。我和弟弟比赛竞速和其它有技巧的高难度动作，也相互追逐着，你进我退，你后我进，笑声充斥于场中，快乐也盈沁于心湖里。溜直排轮必须穿上护具和安全帽，弟弟比较粗心，没有穿好护具，以致于跌倒时有轻微的擦伤，令爸爸妈妈都忧心忡忡。由于可见，爸爸妈妈对我们是相当关心的，古人说：“不敢毁伤，孝之始也。”所以，我们沉浸于运动的欢乐之中，也要小心翼翼，不要让自己受伤，而令爸爸妈妈担心不已。

溜直排轮时，因为速度太快，我感到风在我的耳际呼啸而过，影物交替快速，正如过往云烟一般，我必须聚精会神，因为只要我一不留神，我也会摔得洋相尽出，惨不忍睹。有时，我也会摔倒，但由于我的护具穿戴完备，所以并没有受到什么大的伤害，算是不幸中的大幸。不管如何，我仍会留意的，不要乐极生悲。在这里我见识到“天外有天，人外有人。”有人的技巧十分纯熟，轻轻松松地滑行、跳跃，S形，叫人不禁为他击掌叫好；也有人怯怯懦懦，如临深渊，如履薄冰，深怕一步滑出，便摔倒四脚朝天，鼻青脸肿。

除了溜直排轮，我还喜欢各式各类的运动，因为运动百益而无害，运动是健康的泉源。人是“动”物，要动才会健康，夏承楹说：“运动最补。”我认为他说得很对，我会常常在运动场上挥洒着愉悦的汗水，使我的身体更加强壮，更加健康。
