Christmas is a time for miracles.It is also a time when the dull things of daily life and the forecast of human hature gives way to a spiritual awakening.Allow me to share with you one truly wonder of Christmas.

Our miracle story comes from an incident that occurred in Flanders, Belgium, at the dawn of World War I. On December 24th ,1914, German and English troops faced each other from the relative safety of their ditches across which no man’s land lying between them. Christmas is a truly amazing phenomenon. The day and season perpetuate a miraculous, historical event as an annual presence that challenges an often rough, cruel, and egotistical creature — the human being — to become open and amenable to their Creator’s vision. The great miracle of Christmas continues in the performance of humane acts, moral honesty, and in the spiritual awareness of millions struggling to lead a life of grace.

As the proverb goes, “no one knows the value of health until he loses it.” From this, we know that health is very important to everybody. But how to keep fit? Many people believe that sports can offer people health and pleasure. As far as I concern, I think doing physical exercises have lots of advantages.

说起我喜欢的体育运动，就算跑步了。我为什么喜欢跑步呢，或许是老天给我提供了学习的机会，才让我与跑步结下了不解之缘。

话说一次400米比赛，刚听老师说完，我腿就开始发软，一想到气喘吁吁的场面我就打颤！可是一切总的发生，随着老师的哨声，我们站到了起跑线的位置，“上帝啊救救我吧，我可不愿意成为倒数三名中的一个啊”，我在内心求救者，可是上帝也听不到我的求救声！只听一声哨响，我与其他三名选手像箭一般被射了出去。刚开始，我跑的入蜗牛一样漫，为的是节省体力，以便来个最后冲刺。果然，天助我也，只见前三名同学因为前2圈的飞奔而消耗了大量体力，脚步变得愈来愈慢，汗珠像断了线的珠子一个劲地往放下掉，“哈哈，太棒了，天助我也”我想着，“第一非我莫属。”正当我得意忘形之际，后边一个选手突然像骏马一样飞驰而来。“完了，快点赶上，千万不能被追上呀。”我焦急的想。我脚下像踩风一样快速的跑着，“快了，加油，坚持住！”我为自己鼓劲，同时也把最后的力气都用到了冲刺上，两米、一米、半米...,愈来愈近，忽然震耳欲聋的掌声一同想起，“第一”我欢呼着，脸上豆大的汗珠往下掉，但心里美滋滋的！

Nowadays, with the improvement of the people’s living standard, some people form a habit of raising small or domestic animals as pets. Some raise small dogs or cats as their pets while others raise various birds or fishes as their pets.

However, some people object to the idea of raising animals as pets. To them, animals have their own right to live a natural life like human beings. On the other hand, the way people raise animals as pets have a negative influence on the surroundings ,for example, dogs’ chasing people on the street and so on. What’s more, some animals will transmit some diseases.

两个人参加50米跑，另外两个人参加100米跑。比赛开始前，老师对他们说：“你们要加油呀！争取为我们四年级二班争光！”那四名同学点点头，很紧张的样子。

先进行的是50米跑比赛，裁判一声哨响，跑道上的选手们就冲了出去。结果我们班的李磊摔了一跤，落到了最后一名，但他快速地站了起来又往前冲。他跑得特别快，眨眼间就超过了好几名选手，到了第二名。我们不停地给他加油，只见他咬紧牙关，奋力前冲，冲到了第一名，赢了比赛！

我们都为李磊欢呼，老师说：“李磊给我们班争光了，是我们的榜样！”

李磊给我们开了个好头，振奋了我们班同学的士气，在接下来的比赛中，另外三名同学也都取得了不错的成绩。

一天，兔子闲着无聊想找一个动物来比比赛。它想了想，想出了个好主意。他搬了张桌子放在了一棵草地的大树下，又挂了一张牌子，上面写着：“跑步比赛报名!获胜者即得森林跑步冠军称号!”

不一会儿，就有人来报名了。黄狗、猴子、马、松鼠、兔子、乌龟等都来报名了。它们排好队，一个接着一个来报名。等到他们都拿到报名表以后，那只兔子讲话了：“咳、咳，各位选手们，我郑重地告诉大家，第一届跑步比赛开始啦，今年跑步比赛的冠军会获得保质期一年的森林跑步冠军称号。比赛明天就开始。”

就在昨天晚上，我已经准备好了去旁边的广场跑步去，早上那里的人比较少，空气也特别的舒适宜人。于是我把这个想法告诉了爸妈，他们也欣然同意了。于是我又把自己的运动短裤，运动鞋等准备好。

而早上的太阳非常微弱，此时的空气非常得清新，温度也十分宜人，于是我更加开心。下了楼层，我先热身活动，什么膝关节，大腿都被我训练了一下，是为了不让我在之后的长跑过程中受伤。

接着，我开始跑步了。一开始，我很是轻松，毕竟一开始就很累，那么我的体质就真的很差劲。但是没过多久，我的腿部肌肉酸痛之感就涌出来了，此时的步伐，异常地沉重，每一步都是挂了千斤的铅锤一般，使人想要停下来。但是，我岂是那种轻易放弃的人呢？然后我还是忍着疼痛继续跑下去，坚持到底。

也许过了很久吧，树叶都开始沙沙作响，小草也是随风摇摆，都为我加油呐喊，为我的努力感到欣慰与自豪。于是我再次一咬牙，坚持了下去。最后当然，我还是跑到了终点。

三公里的距离，虽然不长，但是让我明白了很多，人一旦有了目标就要持之以恒的去坚持完成它，最终积少成多，走向自己的人生终点。
