五月初五，是我们中国年历的一个节日——端午节。

这个节日，是我们裹粽子的日子。每一年的这一天，许多人家都会包裹粽子，许许多多不同味道不同种类的粽子，都会在这个粽香的季节纷纷涌现。

关于端午节的由来，其实向来都说法不一。有些人都将它视为是纪念于五月初五投汨罗江的爱国诗人屈原。有人说，这一个节日在古代，是一个消毒避疫的日子。

根据文献上的记载，以及历代相传流行下来的许多端午习俗，五月被视为“毒月”、“恶月”，五月初五是九毒之首，所以这一天便流传了许多驱邪、消毒和避疫的特殊习俗如插蒲子艾叶、喝雄黄酒、祭五瘟使者等。

后来，我看过这样一本书，我彻底清醒过来。人，真不应该活在别人的眼光里。

书中讲述了一个女孩的故事。那个女孩叫甜甜，她自尊心很强，从小就喜欢和人比成绩，要是哪一次考试没有达到预期的目标，就会很伤心。而她喜欢攀比的原因，大部分来自父母的期待。

甜甜的父母，希望她争气，希望她有出息。每一次她考得好，都会夸半天，每一次她考不到第一名，都会责怪她很久。她背着沉重的包袱学习，活在与别人相比较的世界里，渐渐失去了自我。久而久之，甜甜的人生价值观、审美观，以及所有的追求，都变成了一种目标，那就是超越别人，做到最“优秀”。

甜甜上初中以后，遇到了很多“强敌”，他们都比她学习好，比她优秀。要强的甜甜哪里会受得住这种打击，自那以后她消极悲观，从自傲变成了自卑。最后，她连最初的梦想，也都放弃了。

仔细想想，她变成这样，应该怪谁?我想，她的父母或许是最危险的导火索。如果他们能教会她不要和别人相比较，努力做自己，那么她就不会因为追不上别人的脚步，而停下脚步。

“你要比别人更优秀”这句话，几乎每个人都听过。然而，如果一个人为了比别人更优秀，而偏离自己的人生轨道，那将会是最大的悲哀。毕竟，把别人的要求作为努力的源头，那样的人生根本没有什么意义。而你的苦要自己尝，很多忙别人不能帮，又何必为了得到别人的欣赏，戴上面具生活。

“很多人之所以做不好自己，是因为总想着做别人。”只有活出自我的人，才会拥有更好的未来，感受到人生最大的乐趣。

“人生最重要的不是成功，而是从来没有停止过努力。”余生很贵，我们一定要珍惜每一秒的时光，活出自己想要的模样。记住，你从出生那一刻开始，就应该做自己，千万不能让自己活成别人的翻版，不然，真的很可悲。

What I expect for city life is not just about drink bars, shopping mall, entertainment center etc, although they are indeed better than the facility in the rural areas. What I expect for city life is a clearer environment, not only in the surroundings but also in peoples spirit. I hope the people around me are all good mannered with politeness and courtesy, there is no quarrel, no battle, people treat each other with respect. I hope there would be no traffic jam as in Beijing our country capital today where traffic jam happened everyday, which make the citizens feel depressed and great pressure.

缺点3：每次考试不该错的却错，害得我每次都考90多分，从不考100分......我玩的时候像疯了一样，怪不得我每一次回来的时候都有伤啊!有一次我的同学—泥鲁莹哭了，我问她怎么了，她不说，我就想了一个办法，结果她哈哈大笑。我能安慰人，也能把别人惹哭了。
