金晶，一个传递奥运圣火的残疾运动员，却与危急时刻用身体护住火炬。只简单的一个动作——双手合抱——她的一个下意识行为，却在世人面前展现了她的精神。于她而言，作为一个火炬手，扞卫火炬是自己的事，可事实上扞卫的却是一个国家的尊严。她做好了自己的事，竟令举国为之侧目。

另一个人，克里姆林宫的老清洁工人，他曾说，我的工作和叶利钦的工作差不多，叶利钦是在收拾俄罗斯，我是在收拾克里姆林宫。听来十分可笑，可他却认为两份工作一样的重要。他说的是实情，他也并不狂妄，做好自己的事，本就是履行自己应尽的义务和责任，或许繁琐崇高如国家总统，亦或简单渺小似清洁工人，工作本无所谓贵贱，做好自己的事，行行皆出状元。

或许金晶的故事太过耀眼，克林姆林宫又过于遥远，王蒙所述的“自己的事”似乎遥不可及，但其实，“自己的事”在每个人身边都存在着。

你还记得清早，当路上的行人车辆还为数不多时，可看见路边一抹蓝色身影，那是清洁工人在清扫路面，他们在用自己的汗水做好自己的事，维持一方捷径;你还记得十字路口，烈日下寒风中的深色身影，那是交通警察在川流不息中挥汗如雨，做好自己的事，保证交通顺畅道路安全;你还记得三尺讲台上的口若悬河，那是辛勤的园丁在培育祖国明天的花朵，他们同样做好了自己的事。

他们都是平凡的人，与平凡的生活做着自己的事，然而这些事看似平凡却也同样在为祖国做着贡献。他们努力工作，尽自己的责任与义务，也是另一种意义上的爱国。

做好自己的事，是爱国，亦是责任。古人云：“一屋不扫，何以扫天下。”让我们每个人谨记王蒙的话：做好自己的事。

Each people all have own dream, so I also have their own dreams. And some

of the dreams are hard to reach, some are very simple. My dream is to fulfill

their own responsibility, maintained a kind heart and cook, these are my dream

dreams.
