Last Monday, we had a monitor election. At the beginning the two candidates, LiuDong and Wang Hong gave us a speech introducing themselves and telling us their plans in the future. Then we had a vote. We wrote down the name of the better one in our mind and put the paper in a box. Then the exciting time came that our teacher counted the number and wrote it on the blackboard. “小懒虫!快起床，这天就是端午节，妈妈和你一齐包粽子，你怎样还在睡觉?”妈妈兴致勃勃地叫着。难得的假期，我还真想好好地睡一觉呢，都被妈妈搅和了，可就是我昨日答应妈妈和她一齐包粽子的啊，想想能够吃到美味的粽子，我还就是很快地起床，跟妈妈学着包粽子。

妈妈拿出泡在水里的粽叶，还有糯米和被浸泡的五花肉，我们两个准备“操作”了。首先妈妈教我包粽子四大步骤：①选料，选取好适宜的粽叶;②把糯米放在折叠好的粽叶里，包好;③把五花肉放进有糯米的粽子里;④用线把包好的粽子缠紧，打结。这样一个粽子就包好了。然而我心里暗想原先包粽子还有学问呢。

妈妈开始包了，她神色严肃，十分细心。一层又一层，一道又一道，两只手像蝴蝶的翅膀般熟练地上下翻飞，这不，不一会一只胖乎乎的肉粽子就包好了，有棱有角，竟显得有些挺拔有力。真不愧就是熟能生巧，妈妈这个包粽子的好手，已经包了几十个粽子了，整整齐齐地排列着。我的进展又如何呢?

且看——按照妈妈有说的步骤按部就班地认真操练着，可就是这粽子似乎看我就是个孩子，非闹点小脾气不可，就就是不和我的心意。忙活半天一个粽子都没爆好那小粽子似乎在嘲笑地说：“哎呀……就你……还想把我给驯服……那可比登天还难。”我可“不服气”了，这小小的粽子就能难倒我吗，这也太小看自我了吧。妈妈也在一旁耐心地手把手地教我，我带着些虚荣心努力的学着。然而果真就是功夫不负有心人，我茅塞顿开，真棒!我最后包好了第一个粽子。看着手中的这个小粽子，虽然没有妈妈包的那么好看，但在我眼里就像就是手上捧着一颗闪闪发亮的小明珠，格外珍贵，那种喜悦与兴奋难以言表。

粽子包好了，开始煮粽子。妈妈往锅里加了许多的水，然后开始煮，煮了好一会儿，粽子就好了，此时家里到处都弥漫着棕子的香味，最后能够吃到香喷喷的粽子了。

If you go to Lintong and visit the Terra Cotta Warriors ,you cant’t miss the Qin Ling Mountain, also. You can see lots of plants and animals in the mountain. They are so beautiful.

If you have enough time, you can go to the Bell Tower, too .The Bell Tower have three floors. It is surrounded by the City Wall. There is a big bell in the tower. Walking down the sidewalk, you can see the Drum Tower and Muslim Street. On the Muslim Street, there are lots of delicious food, such as cold rice noodles, Chinese hamburgers ,

Paomoand so on. These foods can be found in all parts of Xian. My favourite food is Chinese hamburgers.
