However, these recreational activities have its advantages but also bring some harmful influences to people’s lives.

First, to some extent, these recreational activities enrich people’s lives. Those who take part in different activities will not be easy to feel lonely or boring in their leisure time and live wonderful lives instead. Second, taking part in some group activities is a good form to strengthen friendships. 做菜是奶奶的绝活。她煮的菜，吃起来香香的，使不爱吃菜的我都变得不放筷子了。其实，看奶奶做菜简直就是一种享受。她一进厨房，锅碗瓢盆就开始演奏起来，叮——当叮咚——叮当。只见奶奶刷刷地把菜切成或片、或丝、或块，又熟练去炒起来了。这时油锅里传出一阵噼哩啪啦的声音。不过一会儿，一桌丰盛的佳肴就摆到了眼前。你瞧，一盘盘色香味俱全。我挟一筷放进嘴，感到奶奶做的菜真是太好吃了，就像在沙漠里渴得要命的时候，突然喝到一口甘泉一般。我真想妈妈也有这手艺。

有一次我在扔易拉罐的时候正好被奶奶盯住，奶奶说：别扔。还可以变废为宝！我又只好把易拉罐拿了回了。只见奶奶把易拉罐洗了洗，拿出剪刀，把易拉罐剪成了一个十分漂亮的花篮。这时我才恍然大悟，奶奶家中那些使我眼花了乱的装饰品都是奶奶自己做的。奶奶对我说：你看看，变废为宝好吧！以后什么东西都不要乱扔！这时，我对奶奶更是钦佩了。
