我听说过这样的一个故事。一个诗人听说一个年轻人站在桥上想跳桥自杀，而他手里拿着一本诗集《命运扼住了我的喉咙》。诗人听后，随后拿了另一本诗集，冲向了河边。诗人来到河边，走到年轻人的前面。年轻人见有人上前，便做出欲跳的姿态说道：“不要过来!

你不用劝我，我是不会下来的，命运对我太不公平了。”诗人冷冷地说：“我不是来劝你的，我是来取回我那本诗集的。”年轻人不知诗人这样做的原因。“我要将这本诗撕碎，不让它再危害别人的思想，我可以将我手中的这本诗集和你手中的那本交换。”年轻人犹豫了一会，答应了诗人的请求，年轻人接过诗人手上的那本诗集，有点吃惊：诗人手上的那本诗集的名字刚好将原来那一本的书名倒过来念——《我扼住了生命的喉咙》。诗人接过年轻人手中的那本诗集，对着它凝望了一会，便将它烧得精光，烧完后，诗人又说到：“当我四肢健全时，我曾多次战在你那里，但当我经历了那场车祸变成残疾后，我便再也没站在那儿过。”诗人说完，用深切的目光望着年轻人。年轻人迎着诗人的目光沉思了一会儿，终于从桥架上下来了。

命运是坎坷的，但当挫折来临时，我们没有权利逃避，因为，在给予我们生命的同时，给予了我们责任。我们不能日日耗费时间，却无尽地感慨生命的艰辛，也不应自艾自怜命运怎么这样不济，偏偏给了自己一块不毛之地。我们要做的是咬紧牙关，克服困信。我们决不指望找谁来代替，因为在这世界上，每个人都有一块必须自己来耕种的土地。
