Dear Ms. Reinhart,

I am terribly sorry that I failed to arrive at BLCU last Friday. I hope that this did not mess you up completely, although I know that you had already made some special arrangements for my visit with you parents and friends. I am very sorry about all that. I am sure you will be sympathetic, however, when I tell you that my father is dangerously ill in hospital, and that I found it impossible to leave for the visit when he is in this state.

My father was working very hard on his project on protecting the environment. I know the project has come to a very important stage. He and his assistants did not take regular rest for three weeks. Last night, my father had a heart attack and was soon sent to the hospital. The doctor said my father was in a very serious situation, and, he might need an operation.

24 hours have passed. Nothing has changed. I have to stay at the hospital. I will let you know if there is any good news.

Im writing to remind you of the importance of keeping a healthy life.

You’re so busy every day that you don’t pay much attention to your health. I’m

worried about that all the time so Id like to give you some suggestions.

First, you should balance your diet. Eating more fruit and vegetable is

good for your health. Second, since your company isn’t far away, why not walk to

the office? I hear that walking is the best sport. Besides, you’d better take

exercise at least twice a week, such as playing basketball or tennis. Going to

swim is also a nice choice. What’s more, try not to stay up too late. Going to

bed early and getting up early is also important. Having enough sleep can help

your brain work better.

When the summer holiday came， my cousin and I went to Huamei International

Schooland joined the English and Art Camp.

The camp lasted for three weeks. We had many interesting activities. I

enjoyed them so much， and I was always happy.

I made more new friends there too. I like studying and playing with them

very much and I think they were very friendly.

Our classroom， bedroom and canteen were all very comfortable. They are not

only bright， but also tidy and clean. The food in the canteen was also very

delicious and healthy. I enjoyed the school food a lot. The teachers loved us

very much and they took good care of us.

I like the life in Huamei International School.

That was the first time that I celebated Christmas Day. My friend aksed me

to take part in Christmas party. At the party we danced and celebrated with

carols. I knew some new friends. We exchanged gifts and said best wishes to each

other. I had a pleasant time.

I have a brother called Jason.He has two big eyes,one big mouse and black

hair. He is taller than most of the students in P4 even though he is in P2! He

is the most annoying person in my family!

He follows me and asks me to listen to him every day. Why? He says he is my

brother! If I dont listen to him,he will be very mad and talk to you until I

listen to him! One day,he lost his pen. And I had a same pen as the lost one, so

he started to blamed me even though I did not steal his pen. He had troubled me

a lot until I gave him my pen!

At night, he always asks me to tell him a story. If I dont do it, he will

do something disgusting

like putting his finger in to his mouth and then put the finger on to my

face!

When autumn comes, our school will hold the sports meeting. I will be very

excited about the big event. I like to play basketball, so I join the basketball

team and fight for the classs honor. All the students cheer for their class and

the atmosphere is so lively. As we are young, we feel the great energy and enjoy

the life.

One day my mother asked me， "Son， do you think you have grown up?" I said，

"I have grown up， I am now a pupil， a glorious young pioneer! I am not so

naughty， nor arrogant." My mother smiled at me.

Now， I learned to do a lot of things. At night， I dared to sleep by myself.

white jacket ，a blue hat ，brown pants and a pair of old shoes. He is very funny.

He is a good art teacher. We all like him.

Hide and seek will be played by every child, which is my favorite game. I

like to find a quiet park and then play hide and seek with friends. The place is

big and we can hide in many corner. When my friends come close to me, I will be

nervous and hold my breath. The most exciting moment is found by other

persons.

Dear Mr. Seaton， Thank you very much for taking me with you on that

splendid outing to London. It was the first time that I had seen the Tower or

any of the other famous sights. If Id gone alone, I couldnt have seen nearly

as much, because I wouldnt have known my way about. The weather was splendid on

that day, which I thought was rare.

I still remember some people told me that in Britain there was weather and

no climate. During the same day, it might snow in the morning, rain at noon,

shine in the afternoon and be windy before the night falls. So I think I was

lucky.

I think the river trip was the best thing of all. London really came alive

for me as we saw it from the Thames during that wonderful journey down to

Greenwich. It was all tremendously exciting - a day that I shall never

forget.

my father is a nice man. he likes to play computer games. he is

an owner of a factory which produces many things .he is good at designing. he

works very hard. i love him very much because, sometimes, i can help him to do

something in his factory .he is always on business trips because he has his

business everywhere so it takes up too much of his time .therefore, he doesn’t

have any time to play with me but i don’t blame him for that. i often spend a

lot of my time on the computer, so i have something to do. my mother is usually
