Chang-Er，his beautiful wife， could no longer stand by and watch him abuse his power so she stole his Elixir and fled to the moon to escape his angry wrath. The second legend has it that during the Yuan Dynasty，an underground group led by Zhu Yuan Zang was determined to rid the country of Mongolian dominance. The moon cake was created to carry a secret message. When the cake was opened and the message read，an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the Mongolians. It happened at the time of the full moon，which，some say，explains why mooncakes are eaten at this time. Mooncakes are usually stamped with Chinese characters indicating the name of the bakery and the type of filling used. They are usually presented in boxes of four which indicate the four phases of the moon. Olympic Games is the biggest event for the players, because it holds every

four years. I remembered that my father watched the games at midnight many years

Dragon Boat race Traditions

At the center of this festival are the dragon boat races. Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward to the rhythm of beating drums. Tzung Tzu

Families will hang various herbs, called Ay Tsao, on their door for protection. The drinking of realgar wine is thought to remove poisons from the body. Hsiang Bao are also worn. to rise. They say that this global warming will have dreadful consequences for

our environment, such as drought and flooding.

Firstly, governments can support research. For example, they should

Another way of saving energy is by public transport systems. Governments should

In summary, it is clear that there are a lot of things that governments can

The summer holiday is coming. Our class have had a discussion about what to do during the holiday. Some are in favor of staying at home. They think its both convenient and comfortable. Whats more, they can save money for other purposes. But they will lose the chance of getting to know the outside world.

computer in every family is more than TV set. Some people think it is so great
