来到贫民区，没想到这里住的几乎都是黑人，他们住在简陋而破烂的家，屋里还时不时发出冲鼻的霉臭，卫生方面更不用一谈。”天啊!这是人住的地方吗?!“我嘀咕着。我不管三七二十一了，捂着鼻子。三步并作一步地冲到一家门前，轻轻敲了敲快脱掉的木门，问道：“有人吗?”话音刚落，屋内便传出声音：“是谁呀?”这有力无气的声音离我越来越近。突然，门打开了，一股臭气直扑面而来，让人难以忍受。此时，一位头发蓬松、脸上布满皱纹的老妇人映入了我的眼帘。它挠了挠脑袋，亲切地问：“请问，你是谁呀?我认识你的吗?”“您好，伯母。我是来自中国的一位女孩，今天我想登门拜访您，顺便参观一下你们的居住环境。可以吗?如有冒昧，请多多原谅。”“欢迎你来我家。”随即，它带领着我走进了客厅。客厅陈设简陋，只有两张椅子，一张饭桌，一个茶几，如此而已。我刚坐下，老妇人就给我端来一杯热腾腾的茶，还捧来了一些茶点，热情地接待我。我被老妇人的热情好客打动了，心想：外国友人果真是热情友善呀!我微笑着说：“伯母，您觉得现在生活得怎样?”“一般吧。总算三餐温饱，有瓦遮盖。不至于揭不开锅。”她边笑边说。“您家有儿女?”“是的。罗伯特是我值得骄傲的儿子。”提起她的儿子，她更欢喜了。“罗伯特?您说的是为了救丽莎把辛苦积攒的钱全捐给了她的那个罗伯特吗?”我激动地站了起来。“难道你认识他吗?他就是我的儿子呀!”“那么，罗伯特他现在在哪儿呀?”我激动不已。“他现在在……在……”“您快说呀!”我焦急万分，迫不及待。“他现在在……”

“铃铃”一阵闹钟声，把我从美梦中叫醒了。原来是一场梦!好可惜哦!见不到罗伯特。但我也希望靠我的努力再去一次美国!希望下次来美国时，风暴不再用“恶势力”使人们愁眉苦脸!

美国，是我一直向往能去游学的国家。这一次前往美国游学，给我留下最深印象的，是那里的中学生活。

我们一共在学校旁听了3天，那边自由轻松的课堂让我念念不忘。第一天去的时候，我在车上默默激动，可以跟外国的学生在一所有名的中学上课，是一个很好的机会，是一种荣幸。车到时，我很惊讶地看到了一座座“厂房”。晃过神来，才看到那大大的校牌“South Pointe Middle School”，暗叹这儿才只有一层楼的一座座建筑。下车后，我们来到了一个房间里，直到看到老师们在办公桌间穿梭，陈列柜里陈放着许许多多的奖杯，我才清晰地意识到，这原来就是办公室啊。Linda校长热情地欢迎我们，让我们去图书馆内等待。进了学校的大门，我看见了三三两两聚在一起讨论的同学们，校园里可称得上人声鼎沸。相比之下，图书馆内完全显得上是冷清的氛围。校长友好地与我们每个人一一问好，请我们围坐在圆桌旁。当广播播出后，不一会儿，有陆陆续续的进来的同学，中间还有一些中国人，可开口讲的却是标准的美式英语。而他们讲的，我什么也听不懂。渐渐的，心中涌出了一丝丝不安。看完了独具特色的“morning news”，到了配对的时间。我的伙伴——Victorlia，长得十分漂亮，金发碧眼，圆圆的脸蛋，声音甜甜的，听着很舒服。我们坐在一起融洽地聊天，很好地了解了对方。接下来，就是上课环节。美术课上，所有人精湛的画技让我瞠目结舌;数学课上，简单的题目令我稍稍放松;科学课上，学生自绘的细胞分裂过程图使我大开眼界;体育课上，激烈的篮球比赛让我跃跃欲试。其余的课，我就只能听懂极小的一部分了。而在与同伴的交流过程中，也开始有听不懂的情况了。当碰见会说中文的同学时，是一种十分激动的状态。在异国他乡的紧张和无奈占了上头，午饭的时候，我和同行的伙伴才总算能聚在一起顺畅的闲聊。

接下来的两天，我总结出了美国中学的特点：学生在课堂上踊跃提出自己的观点，提出各种问题。他们的思维很灵活开放，最后一天精彩的“小美人鱼”舞台剧展露无疑。他们十分热情，因此，除了结对同伴外，我还认识了一位朋友。他们乐于助人，给予了我许多恰到好处的帮助。他们学校的校规很自由，允许学生染发、戴耳钉、染指甲，可以散发来学校。课堂也十分自由，围坐在圆桌旁，小组合作学习。课堂里，可以不受约束的直接出教室上洗手间。这些都让我十分惊讶。

这三天丰富的校园生活，将是一段甜蜜的回忆。

今天是7月28日星期六，“小记者走天下”新一天的旅程又开始了，你们准备好了吗?今天我要带你们去游览著名的耶鲁大学和自由女神像，快跟我一起出发吧!

耶鲁大学位于纽黑文市，是美国八所常青藤盟校其中的一所，它与哈佛、麻省分别排前三名，耶鲁大学是一所以人文和社会科学为主的大学，它们是美国教育界一道亮丽的风景。担任这次导游的是耶鲁大学毕业生胡安姐姐，胡安姐姐非常漂亮和热情，她是一个混血儿，爸爸是美国人，妈妈是台湾人，怪不得我们看见她觉得很是亲切，因为她有我们中国人的血统。姐姐能说一口流利的普通话，对人非常和蔼可亲，她始终笑容满面，耐心地解答我们的问题，由她来解说我们都很放松，也很开心。胡安姐姐介绍说耶鲁大学建校也有300多年的历史，它被称为“总统的摇篮”，因为有六位总统都是耶鲁大学毕业生，包括前美国总统布什、克林顿，据说，克林顿和夫人希拉里就是在耶鲁古色古香的读书馆相识的。

一路走来，呈现在我们面前的耶鲁大学就像一个连着一个的古代城堡，每座城堡都有一个美丽的传说，古老典雅是它的建筑风格。欣赏着每一座建筑，每一处风景，让我神清气爽、心旷神怡。看到这些古老的建筑，我想起了前年去清华、北大参观，我突然觉得清华和北大好亲切，因为那里的古建筑是我们中华民族的风格，这次参访哈佛、麻省和耶鲁，觉得它们的异国风景是很美丽，可妈妈曾经告诉我：只有民族的才是世界的。清华和北大也有100多年的历史，复旦、交大、中山和香港大学同样是我们中国学生的骄傲，我相信我们中国的大学有一天一定会成为世界上最好的大学。对了，胡安姐姐今年九月份就要到中国南京留学一年，专门学习中国的历史和文化，我为我的祖国感到骄傲和自豪。

耶鲁1701年建校，1969年才能招收女生，这是为了纪念耶鲁大学招收女学生而建造的大理石女人桌，胡安姐姐是这些女生中的优秀代表。

参观完耶鲁大学，我们依依不舍的跟胡安姐姐告别，欢迎她早日到中国留学。丰盛的午餐过后，我们来到了纽约港，去参观自由女神像。我们在港口稍作停留，想不到被誉为世界之都的纽约街道很狭窄，路两旁的汉字看着很亲切，这里也有表演杂技赚取生活费的艺人，跟国内没什么两样。

我们登上游船后，导游介绍说，自由女神像高46米，已经有125年的历史，她是纽约市的象征，象征着美国人民的自由与梦想。可自由女神像却不是美国制造的，它是由法国为了庆祝美国独立100周年作为礼物赠送的，自从2001年911事件以后，自由女神像就被关闭了，我们只有隔海相望。只见象征美国自由精神、高举火炬的自由女神像英姿飒爽，临海而立，坚定地望着远远的大西洋，呈现出顶天立地的气概。

这是我们在美国第六天，再过两天我们的美国之旅就要结束了，我们了解和感受了美国的历史和文化，游览了美国著名景点，我发现每个国家都有属于自己的历史和值得纪念的事情，我们中国的天安门、毛主席纪念馆、革命英雄纪念碑，我们的故宫、长城、兵马俑，在中华儿女心中更加神圣和伟大。

接下来的旅程我们将要参观联合国大厦、华尔街、时代广场、帝国大厦，最后还要参观西点军校，这可是我非常期待的，因为我和妈妈一起读过关于西点精神的书，这下要一睹西点的风采，很是激动啊!“小记者走天下”美国之旅明天继续精彩呈现!

Nowadays ther are a lot of false advertisements in society. They have caused many harms to society. Generally, their harms can be listed as follows. First, they exaggerate the functions of the goods they advertise and mislead consumers. Second , some advertisements contain obscene contents and bring about spiritual pollution. Third, they seriously damage the credit of businesses because the shops which sell those goods will be distrusted and even considered the conspirators of those advertisers by consumers. Personally, I am usually vigilant against any advertisements and so I have never been taken in. However, some people are credulous and are easily taken in. Therefore, in my opinion, effective measures must be taken to ban false advertisements and protect consumers interests. First, all the advertisements must be strictly censored by the authorities concerned before they are published. Besides, severe punishment must be inflicted on those who publish illegal advertisements. In conclusion, false advertisements must be eliminated in our society.

This Thursday is Thanksgiving Day. The writer O’Henry called it the one day that is purely American. Thanksgiving is not a religious holiday. But it has ritual meaning. Some Americans attend religious services on the day before Thanksgiving or on Thanksgiving morning. Others travel long distances to be with their families. They have a large dinner which is the main part of the celebration. For many Americans, Thanksgiving is the only time when all members of the family gather. The holiday is a time of family reunion. Thanksgiving week is generally one of the busiest travel times of the year. However, experts say this year probably will be different. On September 11th, thousands of people died when terrorists hijacked airplanes that struck buildings in Washington D.C. and New York City. Many people now say they are worried about flying on a plane. Travel experts say almost 6 percent fewer people will make long trips this Thanksgiving compared with last year. Many Americans who usually visit family and friends by plane are driving shorter distances instead this week. Some mental health experts say the attacks have frightened people. They say people feel safer and happier close to home. More than any other holiday, Thanksgiving is a celebration of family and home. Many people say that this year they are especially thankful for their families and friends and the good things in their lives. On Thanksgiving, people enjoy a long day of cooking, eating and talking. The traditional meal almost always includes the turkey with a bread mixture cooked inside. Other traditional Thanksgiving food served with turkey are sweet potatoes, cranberries and pumpkin pie. Stores are said to sell more food at Thanksgiving than at any other time of the year, and many people eat more food at Thanksgiving than at any other time of the year. Over the years, Americans have added new traditions to their Thanksgiving celebration. For example, a number off professional and university football games are played on Thanksgiving Day. Some of the games are broadcast on national television.
