我们一共在学校旁听了3天，那边自由轻松的课堂让我念念不忘。第一天去的时候，我在车上默默激动，可以跟外国的学生在一所有名的中学上课，是一个很好的机会，是一种荣幸。车到时，我很惊讶地看到了一座座“厂房”。晃过神来，才看到那大大的校牌“South Pointe Middle School”，暗叹这儿才只有一层楼的一座座建筑。下车后，我们来到了一个房间里，直到看到老师们在办公桌间穿梭，陈列柜里陈放着许许多多的奖杯，我才清晰地意识到，这原来就是办公室啊。Linda校长热情地欢迎我们，让我们去图书馆内等待。进了学校的大门，我看见了三三两两聚在一起讨论的同学们，校园里可称得上人声鼎沸。相比之下，图书馆内完全显得上是冷清的氛围。校长友好地与我们每个人一一问好，请我们围坐在圆桌旁。当广播播出后，不一会儿，有陆陆续续的进来的同学，中间还有一些中国人，可开口讲的却是标准的美式英语。而他们讲的，我什么也听不懂。渐渐的，心中涌出了一丝丝不安。看完了独具特色的“morning news”，到了配对的时间。我的伙伴——Victorlia，长得十分漂亮，金发碧眼，圆圆的脸蛋，声音甜甜的，听着很舒服。我们坐在一起融洽地聊天，很好地了解了对方。接下来，就是上课环节。美术课上，所有人精湛的画技让我瞠目结舌;数学课上，简单的题目令我稍稍放松;科学课上，学生自绘的细胞分裂过程图使我大开眼界;体育课上，激烈的篮球比赛让我跃跃欲试。其余的课，我就只能听懂极小的一部分了。而在与同伴的交流过程中，也开始有听不懂的情况了。当碰见会说中文的同学时，是一种十分激动的状态。在异国他乡的紧张和无奈占了上头，午饭的时候，我和同行的伙伴才总算能聚在一起顺畅的闲聊。

接下来的两天，我总结出了美国中学的特点：学生在课堂上踊跃提出自己的观点，提出各种问题。他们的思维很灵活开放，最后一天精彩的“小美人鱼”舞台剧展露无疑。他们十分热情，因此，除了结对同伴外，我还认识了一位朋友。他们乐于助人，给予了我许多恰到好处的帮助。他们学校的校规很自由，允许学生染发、戴耳钉、染指甲，可以散发来学校。课堂也十分自由，围坐在圆桌旁，小组合作学习。课堂里，可以不受约束的直接出教室上洗手间。这些都让我十分惊讶。

这三天丰富的校园生活，将是一段甜蜜的回忆。

今天是7月28日星期六，“小记者走天下”新一天的旅程又开始了，你们准备好了吗?今天我要带你们去游览著名的耶鲁大学和自由女神像，快跟我一起出发吧!

耶鲁大学位于纽黑文市，是美国八所常青藤盟校其中的一所，它与哈佛、麻省分别排前三名，耶鲁大学是一所以人文和社会科学为主的大学，它们是美国教育界一道亮丽的风景。担任这次导游的是耶鲁大学毕业生胡安姐姐，胡安姐姐非常漂亮和热情，她是一个混血儿，爸爸是美国人，妈妈是台湾人，怪不得我们看见她觉得很是亲切，因为她有我们中国人的血统。姐姐能说一口流利的普通话，对人非常和蔼可亲，她始终笑容满面，耐心地解答我们的问题，由她来解说我们都很放松，也很开心。胡安姐姐介绍说耶鲁大学建校也有300多年的历史，它被称为“总统的摇篮”，因为有六位总统都是耶鲁大学毕业生，包括前美国总统布什、克林顿，据说，克林顿和夫人希拉里就是在耶鲁古色古香的读书馆相识的。

一路走来，呈现在我们面前的耶鲁大学就像一个连着一个的古代城堡，每座城堡都有一个美丽的传说，古老典雅是它的建筑风格。欣赏着每一座建筑，每一处风景，让我神清气爽、心旷神怡。看到这些古老的建筑，我想起了前年去清华、北大参观，我突然觉得清华和北大好亲切，因为那里的古建筑是我们中华民族的风格，这次参访哈佛、麻省和耶鲁，觉得它们的异国风景是很美丽，可妈妈曾经告诉我：只有民族的才是世界的。清华和北大也有100多年的历史，复旦、交大、中山和香港大学同样是我们中国学生的骄傲，我相信我们中国的大学有一天一定会成为世界上最好的大学。对了，胡安姐姐今年九月份就要到中国南京留学一年，专门学习中国的历史和文化，我为我的祖国感到骄傲和自豪。

耶鲁1701年建校，1969年才能招收女生，这是为了纪念耶鲁大学招收女学生而建造的大理石女人桌，胡安姐姐是这些女生中的优秀代表。

参观完耶鲁大学，我们依依不舍的跟胡安姐姐告别，欢迎她早日到中国留学。丰盛的午餐过后，我们来到了纽约港，去参观自由女神像。我们在港口稍作停留，想不到被誉为世界之都的纽约街道很狭窄，路两旁的汉字看着很亲切，这里也有表演杂技赚取生活费的艺人，跟国内没什么两样。

我们登上游船后，导游介绍说，自由女神像高46米，已经有125年的历史，她是纽约市的象征，象征着美国人民的自由与梦想。可自由女神像却不是美国制造的，它是由法国为了庆祝美国独立100周年作为礼物赠送的，自从2001年911事件以后，自由女神像就被关闭了，我们只有隔海相望。只见象征美国自由精神、高举火炬的自由女神像英姿飒爽，临海而立，坚定地望着远远的大西洋，呈现出顶天立地的气概。

这是我们在美国第六天，再过两天我们的美国之旅就要结束了，我们了解和感受了美国的历史和文化，游览了美国著名景点，我发现每个国家都有属于自己的历史和值得纪念的事情，我们中国的天安门、毛主席纪念馆、革命英雄纪念碑，我们的故宫、长城、兵马俑，在中华儿女心中更加神圣和伟大。

为了让我的寒假生活变的更加丰富多彩，所以家长给我报了一个令我兴奋的冬令营活动“美国东西海岸夏威夷14日主题活动。”

第一天，我们来到了太平洋中最美丽的夏威夷檀岛，首先，我们去参观珍珠港。参观完我的感受是：“珍珠港有珍贵的历史照片及战舰模型的展览馆有关珍珠港历史介绍的图书馆，我们仿佛亲眼看到了日军战舰偷袭珍珠刚的情形及亚利山号被击沉的实况……我也深深的感到和平的珍贵。”

第二天，我们去了玻利尼西亚文化中心，英文是“Polynesian Cultural Center。”这个地方位于本岛的东南方向，夏威夷土著民族共有七个，他们居住的地方分别是：“萨摩亚群岛SAMOA、奥特爱瑞阿群岛AOTEAROA、斐济群岛FIJI、夏威夷群岛HAWAII、玛贵斯群岛MARQUESAS、大溪地群岛TAHITI、东加群岛TONGA”。各岛有自己的语言。在那里我们度过了一个愉快的傍晚。

第三天，我们的主要任务是购物。买一些比较有纪念意义的东西、夏威夷的特产等等。

第五天，我们去了许多地方，如：九曲花街、金门大桥、海湾大桥、渔人码头。那九曲花街曲曲折折，而且是个斜坡，车从中间走，行人在两旁。我认为只有车技好的人，才能开过去，否则会发生事故。

这个九曲花街，不就像我们的人生吗?充满了曲折、坎坷，我们只有勇敢的去面对才能克服困难。

我们还欣赏了由德国设计师设计的建于1937年的金门大桥，在欣赏的同时，我又学到了许多知识……

第七天，我们去了美国的政治中心、首都——华盛顿。在那里我们看到美国各大政府机构，白宫、国会山、林肯纪念堂、杰佛逊纪念馆、华盛顿广场、二战、韩战纪念馆，在无声中重温历史。我们还去了航天航空博物馆，看到了航天史的发展历程。走进艺术纪念馆，又细细品味了人类艺术发展的历程……

后来，我们驱车去了纽约。途中，我们遇到了美国百年不遇的大堵车，耽误了许多时间。途中还经过了曾经是钢铁城市的巴尔第摩港、美国第一个都城——费城。直到晚上才到达纽约。

第九天，我们去看了自由女神岛。9月11日已经过去五年之久，但是人们不会忘记恐怖事件给这个国家带来的恶果。废旧钢铁搭建的十字架似乎大声地呼喊着和平。华尔街的拥挤、铜牛旁的人群、洛克斐勒广场的人头攒动，让我感到了经济大都会的繁荣。

法国在美国独立100周年时赠送的自由女神毅然伫立在岛上，我们乘船观望她的雄姿。我们还步入了联合国总部大楼，亲临为世界和平作出贡献的环境……

世界行之美国篇作文3

(美国当地时间)7月23日 星期五 晴

经过了13小时的长途飞行，我们乘飞机来到了美国第二大城市——洛杉矶(Los Angeles)。车子从机场开往城里，一路上洛杉矶给我的第一印象就是整个城市几乎看不到高楼大厦，所有的房子都是矮平房或两三层的，不愧是传说中的“趴下来的城市”。

为了倒时差，午饭后，我们直接开始游玩。第一站来到好莱坞最著名的制片厂之一的“环球影城”。“环球影城”是以大量出产恐怖片和科幻片著称的。4D电影《史莱克3》第一个吸引我们。“啊——嚏!”突然史莱克打个一个打喷嚏，虽然戴了立体眼镜，还是搞得我脸上全是他的“口水”“鼻涕”，所有人笑了;突然，一群蜘蛛从树上掉下来，爬到我的脚边身后，让我乱起鸡皮疙瘩——原来都是利用喷气和喷水制造的效果!之后我们徒步穿越一个真人+声光效果制造恐怖的鬼屋，真的把我吓得半死!最后排队参加观光车环城的电影奇幻旅行。看到许多逼真的恐怖和科幻场景，以小见大和真枪实弹的电影特效，比如：喷着火燃烧的翻车，从水中突然跃起攻击我们的“大白鲨”，被洪水冲垮淹没的地铁站等等。我还了解到了突然闪电下雨导致山洪暴发，以及飞机失事等灾难的电影特效是怎样制造出来的，真的是大开眼界啊!这是我在其他地方都从来没有看到体验到过的。

早就听说拉斯维加斯(Las Vegas)是个赌城，有很多的高级饭店和赌场。因为是个沙漠城市，拉斯维加斯夏天的气温常常高于40摄氏度，所以，拉斯维加斯才会有那么多的室内休闲活动场所，包括赌场，希望人们都留在室内玩。今天我们一早就搭乘车子开往赌场去见识见识。

途中，我们在著名的棕榈城小镇停歇，去奥特莱斯购物。这里很大，东西也很多，可就是太热!

晚上终于到了拉斯维加斯，吃过饭，我们去看了场逼真的火山喷发表演，热热的熔岩喷出，红红的火也烧的高高的，连水都是烫烫的……换一个酒店，又看了长真人表演的海盗秀，真的有大炮打出了，火把门都烧了，船的桅杆被轰断掉，大船也被打沉了……非常紧张。可是后来导游才跟我们说这些不同的表演都是高级酒店们免费提供的，就是为公益和吸引人气。这里的高级酒店可真是多啊!个个都金碧辉煌，而且还都有自己的特点和主题。听导游说世界顶尖的10家酒店有7家就在拉斯维加斯!

来美国的第三天，我们去举世闻名的美国大峡谷。大峡谷其实的平地裂开来形成峡谷。它横跨四个州，我们去的只是亚利桑那州的那一段的南峡，从拉斯维加斯开过去大约四百多公里。

途中路过美国最著名的水利工程——胡夫水坝后，我们经历了一个小插曲：一辆看不出是警车的警车示意我们的车子停下来，导游有点慌张的下车，我们全都不知道是怎么回事。原来，我们的车子前面有一段路超速了，可是爸爸和叔叔都分别被叫下车去接受“盘问”，再原来，警察叔叔还在怀疑我们乘坐了黑车，要排除嫌疑，也是对我们负责。最后，警察叔叔给了我们导游一个“warning”，爸爸和叔叔还和帅哥警察合了影，我们被放行了。紧张过后觉得还挺刺激的。

一路看到很炎热的隔壁和秃秃的山，突然，眼前一片绿绿葱葱，原来，是“大峡谷——国家公园”到了。哇，真壮观呀!平地裂开的大口子，岩石像台阶一样一层层地的往下铺;蜿蜿蜒蜒的，根本望不到头;在正午的太阳照射下，不同地方的不同形状的岩石反射出不同的颜色，有深红色，有暗黄色，有粉红色，有灰紫色……导游还告诉我么，这大峡谷南峡部分最宽的地方要有18英里(1英里≈1.6公里)呢!这种大峡谷地貌是我从来都没有见过的。

拉斯维加斯和大峡谷的天气都很热，可是奇怪的是我几乎没出汗!

今天早上，我们5点多就起床了，目的只有一个——赶飞机。我们搭乘的是UA(美联航——美国联邦航空公司)拉斯维加斯—旧金山8：20的飞机，可是，已经晚点了半个多小时登机过后，我们又在飞机上干坐了近两个小时的时间还不起飞。我急了。妈妈说广播里通告的原因是旧金山当地雾太大了，飞机不能冒险飞过去。我更急了。可是，据我观察，飞机上的美国当地人完全没有慌张和着急的样子。

终于，飞机12 点多抵达了位于北加州的旧金山国际机场。导游为我们介绍，圣弗朗西斯科也叫三藩市，华人称“旧金山”是美国著名的“雾都”和“山城”。它三面临海，有很多高高低低的山，并且超过90%的房屋都建在山坡上，有的坡甚至超过45°，整个城市给人感觉像中国的重庆;因为水汽很重，气温不高(今天最高只有22°左右)这里不管晴天雨天、夏天冬天，每天早上9点之前雾绝对不会散去，只是有时浓有时淡而已——难怪美国当地人人和来过这里的人都不会奇怪大雾会延误飞机了!

我们坐车看了看有名的开放的“同性恋街区”、旧金山市政厅，还有早就在杂志和其他图片上看到过的金门大桥。金门大桥是世界上第一座悬索桥，还是一座跨海大桥，后来世界上出现非常多同原理的大桥，像南浦大桥、青马大桥等等。金门大桥被涂成“国际橘黄色”(注意：是国际橘黄色不是红色哦!)，是因为建造这座桥是考虑当地常常雾太大，又是通往城外的唯一通道，怕汽车通过时看不清，而国际橘黄色是颜色中可见性和穿透力最强的颜色。所以，这个鲜艳的颜色成为了金门大桥的标志。

晚上我们在著名的“渔人码头”吃螃蟹大餐。妈妈说，真美味!

(美国当地时间)7月27日 星期二 晴

坐了一个多小时的车，我们到达了美国的“酒乡”纳帕。一路都是灰蒙蒙的天和枯黄黄的山(导游说旧金山就是因为这个地方到处都是长满黄草的山，看起来像金山才叫旧金山的)，可是进入纳帕后马上像换了一块天一样，晴天!这里的气候太阳天多，温差大，好的气候才能产出好的葡萄，好多葡萄才能酿出好酒。

我们选择了一家1885年建立的家族式酒庄参观。很大的酒窖里有很多装酒的橡木桶和制酒的工具，还有小型的博物馆。橡木桶据说都是手工扎的，可是为什么它会这么多年也不会漏和坏掉呢?接着我们去纪念品商店里买好吃好玩的，妈妈买些奶酪和烧烤酱什么的，爸爸还品尝了绝对正宗的产地葡萄酒。我也学到了一点小常识：用来酿酒的葡萄其实不好吃，酸得很!

(美国当地时间)7月28日 星期三 晴

今天早上，我出发到世界闻名的斯坦福大学。大学周围的环境真好，行人特别的少。整个大学是没有围墙，完全开放式的。我们参观了校园的主要部分，还在著名的“胡夫塔”(美国总统胡夫就是从这里毕业的)前合影留念。斯坦福在最新的美国高校综合排名是第六，爸爸说让我先见识一下自己未来的大学，看看是否喜欢——我知道，他也一定希望我能加油努力考取这所名校。

“十七英里海滨公园(seventeen miles drive)”我之前完全没有听说过，看完斯坦福大学，我们来到公园。导游说让我们看看真正美国富豪的度假区，幢幢都是豪宅!海滨公园有一大片森林，许多小动物出没里面;有十几个大大小小的高尔夫球场;还有很多海豹和海鸟的私家海滩。

之后，我们开车上了5号公路(Fifth Highway)，我们将在这条公路上往洛杉矶开。开了大约两个小时，就在离洛杉矶还有100英里的地方，突然我们听见很响的类似枪声的爆炸声，马上感到我们屁股下面“突突”地震起来，我的第一意识就是爆胎了!果然，导游很沉着地把车停靠在路边，下车一看，我们车子的右后轮胎炸得不成样子，路上还有好多被炸飞出去的轮胎碎片。我们车子上虽然有备胎，但没有找到工具，更糟糕的是，排气管居然被卷进轮胎和轮胎罩之间，卡住了。导游不停地打救援电话，烈日炎炎下，我们等了又等，始终没有看到救援拖车。爸爸和叔叔都有点不耐烦了，但还是一直帮坐着和站在草丛中的我们小朋友遮挡太阳。我们每个人的脸都晒得通红，妈妈一直担心我们会中暑。我的心里也在想：这美国人的救援速度怎么那么慢?完全低效率嘛。就在我们正在拨打911电话求救的时候，救援车真的到了。这时已经是下午6点，也就是我们在太阳下面烤了足足3半小时!救援车司机拿出工具，三下五除二就把备胎换好了，排气管也弄直了，这样就算好了，可以开了。我们跟他道了谢，继续上路。两个多小时后，我们终于狼狈地抵达洛杉矶。

你知道沃特·迪士尼吗?他就是米老鼠的爸爸，迪士尼乐园的创始人。让我们回到1955年……一位朋友对他说：“这么大的地方，还没有一个真正的乐园呢。你有钱，就建一个吧。”于是，迪士尼乐园就这样被慷慨和有远见地产生了。我们今天去的迪士尼乐园是全球第一个迪斯尼乐园，建于1955年，所以比较小。在迪士尼先生的铜像前合影后，我们开始了洛杉矶迪士尼乐园的冒险之旅。惊险刺激的激流勇进、有点阴森可怕的印第安琼斯(这可是这家迪士尼乐园的第一招牌呢)、新奇的鸟儿天地，我们在乐园里玩的很开心，还在“明日世界”里考取了自己的汽车驾照呢!

我已经去过香港的迪士尼，也去过日本东京的迪士尼，相比之下这个已经有55年历史的乐园，可还真是一点不陈旧不落后!

住宿：洛杉矶

(美国当地时间)7月30日 星期五 阴

圣迭戈(San Diego)是美国南部的边境城市，它拥有美国最大的海洋世界，还是美国最大的军港——这点让我很向往。早上，我们就向着圣迭戈出发了。在这个最大的海洋世界里，我看到了从未真正看到过的白鲸、白海豚、海象等等海洋动物，以及海底丰富多彩的鱼类、珊瑚和其他生物。看过了海洋世界，我们来到军港。

远远就能看到停在码头的已经退役41号“中途岛号”，和现役的68和74号航空母舰以及大大小小的许多军舰，港边还有一个好大好大的雕塑，名叫“胜利之吻”。据说是二战同盟国取得胜利后，凯旋回家的士兵在刚下船的码头就与爱人热吻庆祝胜利和生还。战争真叫人害怕。我们乘船绕着整个海湾参观了一圈，很近距离的靠近一排的军舰，有登陆舰、驱逐舰、另外还有一些我不知名的军舰都整齐地停靠在港湾，可以清楚地看到站在舰艇上站岗的美国大兵!

墨西哥边境小城蒂华纳与圣迭戈就一个界碑划开来。我们过境到墨西哥去转转，在美墨界碑前合影。明显地感觉墨西哥和美国这两个国家的差距很大：一个严格地汽车让行人，规规矩矩看红绿灯过马路，一个人行红绿灯就像摆设;一个整齐干净，一个乱哄哄的。也许这就是人的素质不一样造成的吧。所以才会有这么多的墨西哥人往美国挤。

告别的日子终于到了，我们就要回家了。再见了，美国。

在机场，我们跟导游照了相，告了别，谢谢她，登上飞机，离开了美国。

从飞机窗向外看，都是蓝天白云的，跟中国一样，都很美。

As the saying goes: women kiss offer more to its parent when no memory in young. I have also recognized but I turn to. I do not know who is not often youyue. My first kiss from memory dedicated to love people in my most beautiful years. Who ever thought that things were always against.

俗话说：女人亲吻，在青春没有记忆时给予父母更多。我也承认，但我转向。我不知道是不是经常优越。我的初吻，从记忆中，献给爱的人，在我最美的年华里。谁曾经认为事情总是反对。

There are many arguments about the advantages and disadvantages of examinations. Some people think that examinations can help them review the lessons regularly, while others maintain that too many examinations have frustrated them.

To me, I think an examination is a good thing for both teachers and students. Teachers can find out how much the students have grasped and then improve their teaching; students, on the other hand, will learn what their weak points are and then study even harder.

All in all, we should not waste time arguing whether examinations are good or not. What we should do is to try to improve the exam system and try to adjust it to our different requirements.

To be or nor to be, that is a question. To succeed or to fail? How to succeed and how to achieve? These problems confuse many teenagers in nowadays.

We all have dreams, and we all work hard to realize them. But there will always be some problems and setbacks to stop the pace of advance. When they appear, what should we do? To stop or to go on? Mrs. Curie told us the answer. We all know that Mrs. Curie discovered radium, but how many people really know how hard she worked? At that time, there were many people disapprove of Mrs. Curie. Although she got over hundreds of difficulties, she still believed in herself and never gave up. Finally, she succeeded to discover radium. She proved that she was right by her continuous hard work and her strong spirit. We should learn from Mrs. Curie. She told us the truth through her own experiences that believe in yourself, you can do it! Never give up, face the difficulties with a smile, someday, you will be proud of yourself.

The key to success is confidence. It makes you brave, helps you get over the troubles, and brings motivation to you. For example, somebody always get nervous when they have an important speech, if they are in a nervous mood, the results are always terrible. But if they are confident to themselves, the results turn out to be better. Therefore, be confident, believe in yourself, keep smile in your face when comes to difficulties, and you will achieve more.

Companionship of Books 以书为伴(节选)

A man may usually be known by the books he reads as well as by the company

he keeps; for there is a companionship of books as well as of men; and one

should always live in the best company, whether it be of books or of men.

A good book may be among the best of friends. It is the same today that it

always was, and it will never change. It is the most patient and cheerful of

companions. It does not turn its back upon us in times of adversity or distress.

It always receives us with the same kindness; amusing and instructing us in

youth, and comforting and consoling us in age.

Men often discover their affinity to each other by the mutual love they

have for a book just as two persons sometimes discover a friend by the

admiration which both entertain for a third. There is an old proverb, ‘Love me,

love my dog.” But there is more wisdom in this:” Love me, love my book.” The

book is a truer and higher bond of union. Men can think, feel, and sympathize

with each other through their favorite author. They live in him together, and he

in them.

A good book is often the best urn of a life enshrining the best that life

could think out; for the world of a man’s life is, for the most part, but the

world of his thoughts. Thus the best books are treasuries of good words, the

golden thoughts, which, remembered and cherished, become our constant companions

and comforters.

Books possess an essence of immortality. They are by far the most lasting

products of human effort. Temples and statues decay, but books survive. Time is

of no account with great thoughts, which are as fresh today as when they first

passed through their author’s minds, ages ago. What was then said and thought

still speaks to us as vividly as ever from the printed page. The only effect of

time have been to sift out the bad products; for nothing in literature can long

survive e but what is really good.

Books introduce us into the best society; they bring us into the presence

of the greatest minds that have ever lived. We hear what they said and did; we

see the as if they were really alive; we sympathize with them, enjoy with them,

grieve with them; their experience becomes ours, and we feel as if we were in a

measure actors with them in the scenes which they describe.

The great and good do not die, even in this world. Embalmed in books, their

spirits walk abroad. The book is a living voice. It is an intellect to which on

still listens.
