Today is the Duanwu Festival.It is a special festival in China.On this

day,we usually eat zongzi,a kind of food that is made of rice.So I tried to cook

some zongzi today.First,I bought some bamboo leaves.It is an important part of

zongzi.I made the leaves in the shape of small bottles.Next,I put in some rice

and meat.So the leaves can make the rice more delicious.Then,I found some thin

ropes and tied up the leaves——And then the zongzi was finished.The final step

was to boil some water and cook them.It was hard work,but I tried my best and it

was the most delicious zongzi I had ever eaten.

Finally, we arrived in Guilin. After breakfast, we went to River Li. We

listened to the guide and enjoyed the views on boat. But I found the water in

River Li is dirty, many people washed clothes there. I feel angry and the trip

became boring and exhausting.

今天终于到了桂林，我们吃过早饭后就出发去漓江。坐上了船后，我们听着导游的讲解，观赏着风景。可是我发现漓江的水很脏，有很多人在那里洗衣服。我很气愤。在接下来的旅途中很无聊我也很疲惫。

五一放假期间，五月一日一大早，我们一家就早早起床，准备去临淄游玩。

汽车载着我们上了路，它马不停蹄地奔驰着、呼啸着，好像比我们还着急呢!由于路不熟，七转八转，大约过了两个小时，我们才到达了目的地。

临淄好美啊!这里的绿树成荫，遮天蔽日，像战士，像朋友，似乎在招手欢迎我们呢。但遗憾的是，或许是这里工业太发达了，空气污染很严重，到处是臭味，十分难闻。我们把车窗户都关掉了，可是臭气还是能钻进车里来，直往我们鼻子里钻。

到了，爸爸把车停下。路旁迎接我们的是爸爸的大学同学，一个浓眉大眼、鼻梁上有一颗黑痣的三十多岁的伯伯。爸爸给我们做了介绍，说这位伯伯姓徐。我甜甜地叫了声”徐伯伯“，徐伯伯夸我懂事，说我长得真高!

徐伯伯和爸爸拉了一会儿家常，然后接上他的妻子和儿子，然后就做我们的向导，带我们去旅游了。

我们先来到了齐国故都，巧的是，正好解说员都忙着。于是徐伯伯就自告奋勇地当起了临时导游，然后向我们一一做起了介绍。他结合当时的历史典故，然后适当扩展，做出了一个又一个的栩栩如生，精彩十分的讲解。在这里，自己真是大开眼界了!我感叹这里出土的物品的应有尽有，比如一些食器、武器，还有一些祭司用品等。是啊，尽管这些物品离现在时代已经很久远了，但是我们还能依稀体会到当时的经济的繁荣昌盛。比如这里模拟的当时的作坊里，大家在做陶器的情景，有的人在烧治，有的人在和泥，有的人在搬运摆放。比如还有模拟的当时打仗的场面，只见开战的双方打得不可开交，杀得怒火冲天，人仰马翻。当然这里还有很多当时的历史人物的雕塑，比如管仲、鲍叔牙、晏子、公子纠，公子小白等，也很形象，很直观。

时间很快就偷偷溜走了，我们恋恋不舍地告别了齐国故都，准备继续到下一个景点去参观学习。

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father’s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. Today, I still went to my mothers office. My mother was very busy, so was

my father. They always live in Beijing. They must get up early. Because they

will manage the factory. So I know they are very laborious. So I should save my

money. Also I should help them. Although I cant do something useful, but I

think I should share the work with them. I am one of my family member. In the

3、母语文法的束缚

小学生刚刚接触英语，在表达的过程中难免受到母语的构词法、语法和思维方式的影响，用汉语的方式组词或组句，以至于出现大量的文法错误，让人啼笑皆非。

My home is on the first floor. there are two bedrooms, a kitchen and a

Keeping a diary in English is one of the effective ways to improve our English writing ability. Compared with other forms of writing, it is shorter and takes less time. It can help us to cultivate the habit of thinking in English. If we persist in this practice, gradually we‘ll learn how to express ourselves in English. In keeping a diary in English, we inevitably run up against a lot of difficulties .

In the first place, it often happens that we have trouble finding appropriate words and phases to give expression to our mind. Secondly , there are many idiomatic ways of saying things in Chinese. And it is extremely hard for us to put them into English properly. Certainly, there are some other roadblocks we may come across in our keeping a diary in English.
