Today the weather was terrible，so I had to stay at home.

As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many

other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and

strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise

friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more

books.

Reading is a good thing, but we must pay GREat attention to the choice of

books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad

This evening I went to the KTV with some of my good friends.

This was the first time that I had been to a KTV and at first I didn’t want to go. I had been in a bad mood the whole afternoon because I didn’t do well in the math exam. At the KTV, everybody sang his favorite songs very happily except me —I as only one of the audience . I dare not have a try because I was afraid that I couldn’t sing well. Encouraged by my classmates, I picked up the microphone and sang an English song entitled “I believe I can fly”.

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is， time always goes on.

It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time.

Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high

reputation， time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time.

Although I have more than a-month holiday， but I found I had a lot of things to

do. I had a lot of homework to do and I am essential to plete the homework as

soon as I have time.

It was a hot day during my summer holidays in 2003. My mother and I got on the bus which would take us to the village where my grandma lived. It was so hot that I felt very thirsty. Then I began to think of the sweet big watermelons and other fruits in Grandma’s house. I could hardly wait to arrive there and see my grandma.

It took us one more hour to get there. When we walked into the house, Grandma was busy preparing lunch in the kitchen. After lunch my mother fell asleep and I asked my grandma to tell me a fairy tale. We sat on the bed and she began to tell it. I listened to her quietly. It was not long before I fell asleep, too. I was dreaming when a terrible voice woke me up. I saw Grandma was lying on the ground with blood streaming down from her mouth. I couldn’t believe my eyes. How fearful a sight it was! I hurried to wake my mother up. We took her to the hospital in a hurry. But it was too late to save her. My beloved grandma’s heart stopped beating when we got to the hospital. You’ll never imagine how sad we felt then.    Grandpa was very well all the time. I had never imagined that she would leave us so soon. That evening I lay in bed alone. My eyes were full of tears. Last summer, intolerable heat, so mom and Dad brought our family went to see the ice sculpture museum.

As soon as we walked into the ice sculpture museum, we felt the chill of the inside, and I knew it was only minus six degrees Celsius. Were just like going into a big fridge. Ice sculptures in the ice sculpture hall are lifelike. It stood the ancient "Four Beauties": Sha Shi, Mochizuki Pipa Wang Zhaojun, Diao Chan, Yang dancing, all lovingly pathetic. The side see also the twists and turns of the bridge deck and handrails, sparkling, shining. There are all kinds of ice sculptures at the side of the bridge. It was found that the eaves of a unique Pavilion were flying, the pillars were beautiful, and the chairs were exquisite, so that people could not help sitting down and resting for a while. Cool air around the body around, make people feel comfortable.

i am so sorry to tell you ,i could not tell what i have promised to my friends in the labours day, i am really a forgettable guy,maybe two more three days later, some of my friends will visit me Ｏr they will give me a buzz for a badminton game.

I went to the home for the aged with my friends on July 30th. As soon as

the eldly people saw us, they were all happy. 1.We sang songs and danced for

them. Then we helped the worker clean the rooms and washes the clothes. They

praized us a lot and said that we were good boys. Although we felt tired, we had
