I am a December 2003 graduate from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a bachelors degree in International Business. As part of my career planning, I am very interested in supplementing my international business education with a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. I already have information from BLCU and hope to study there for at least one full year starting with this summers program continuing through the fall and spring semester 2006. Can your office advise me if such scholarships might be available to me?

I have been studying Chinese for one year now. I am not sure what level I belong to. I was told that there will be an HSK test in our university in September. I am planning to attend the test. But I dont know if the result of the test is recognized by your university. If so, can it be a help for me to apply for the scholarship?

天神将一年交给了四个使节，他们分别是春，夏，秋，冬．他们给大地带来不同的景色．

春天，我望着明媚的阳光寻找春的身影，春使节是四个使节中最美，也是我最喜欢的一个，因为她赋予了我对这一生的期盼．

日光下，柔和的光笼罩着我如烟的梦，我开始回忆畅想．

那是小学三年级的时候吧，老师带着我们一大帮小朋友到田野里放风筝，我们踩在没有水的泥土里，脚印一个深一个浅，田里还留着去年割稻后的根，经过冬的洗礼，短小的秸秆变的苍白无力，但并不妨碍其他小杂草生长．

大家都欢呼着摆弄自己的风筝，我忘了带，就郁闷的蹲在水渠旁边瞪着那些新生的杂草，然后伸出手一根一根的曲茎折下，指甲掐着草茎再对折成两半，嘴里念叨着＂叫你乱长，该杀！＂草尽了，指甲缝里也满是绿液，带着青草特有的清香．有时候也会帮别人拿一下风筝，但最多时候还是坐在土坑上，看着越飞越高的风筝，数着哪个待会儿又会掉下，哪个又要起飞，某某人和某某人的风筝又缠在一起了，看见几个怎样都飞不起来的风筝想，真是只小菜鸟，要是我带了风筝，一定可以超过那个最高的，成为天空的老霸王．

后来，由于交通事故频频发生，所有的春游活动都取消了，再也没有看到成群的孩子在路上你追我赶，闹成一团的场景．

趴在课桌上，旁边是大叠的书本试卷，看着阳光仍旧明媚，不禁在心里悲叹，可怜了这一片蓝天白云呀，现在可不是玩的时代了，我们都长大了，恍惚间似乎听到一声叹息，带着浓重的哀伤，天黯淡了．

看着书上的ａｂｃ，我心底暗暗的想，再等一会我们就会自由了，蓝天会再度属于你，到时候我一定会带一个超大号的风筝去弥补过往的遗憾，一定，一定．

I like to see American TV series so much, because not only the plot

attracts me so much, but also I can learn the English spoken language. Recently,

I fall in love with Two Broke Girls, it is so funny and makes me laugh happily.

Besides the humorous plot, I am also inspired by the characters’ spirit. Though

the two girls are poor and work as the waitress in the small restaurant, they

never give up their dreams. They make the plans for their dreams, even they meet

all kinds of difficulties, they are still positive about their future. I learn

things from them, I keep the positive attitude towards life.
