lunch; that grandpa ran into the house, and grabbed two fresh apples, and gave

it to the tinker. The tinker thanked grandpa and ate the apples. And then he

went down to the brook to have a drink. When he came back, he said, “Now my boy,

we shall plant a tree!” “A tree?” asked grandpa, “But I thought only god makes

trees!’’ “True,” said the tinker, “Only god makes trees. But sometimes we could

help him. And the tinker pulled out a stick, and dug a hole in it. In which he

found a bark. He took the bark out of the stick, and gave the stick to grandpa,

saying, “Here my boy; wash it in the brook.” And so grandpa went to the brook,

and washed up the stick. And then he went back where the tinker was standing

with the bark in his hands.

There he found the tinker, dragging some grass from the ground. And then he

took the stick in grandpa’s hand, and used the grass to tie up around with the

bark. Then he slipped the bark back in the stick. And then he took it out,

squeezed the water out, and told grandpa to wash it up again. When he came back,

he put the bark back in it again. And then fitted it into a hole, which he had

dug; and used the end that didn’t have a hole, and fitted it in the ground; a

few months passed, and the tree grew as strong as the strongest man.

I have a happy family. My father is a doctor. My mother is a teacher. She

teaches Chinese. I am a student in Grade 7. On Sunday, we often go out for a

picnic. We are all very happy. Do you have a happy family too?

When I go to school, I find my classmates are talking about something, so I

ask my friend when they are talking. He tells me that there is a rumor about our

headmaster. Everybody is gossiping about it. I am very curious and talk to a lot

of friends. In the end, the rumor is turned to be wrong. I feel so sorry to

spread the news. I learn the lesson that I should respect others.

I was wondering what was in such a nice package until I carefully opened it and found that you sent me an attractive present for my birthday. Yesterday evening my colleagues held a birthday party for me, including John Liu---I think you can remember---a nice tall boy, who invited you and I to his birthday last October. After a short time, a green parrot hopped out of the enchanted zoo, and

Now of course, the green parrot escaped out of sight, and found some twigs

Now let’s go back to the parrot; the parrot was actually having a pretty

saying. “Mates, you go down and fetch as many gold as you can, while I stay

thanks;” “Take it easy,” they soon became friends, and chatted all along, “So,

can you give me a home to live on the ship?” “Sure thing, piece of cake;” when

they got the parrot on the ship; the captain came out, and became friend with

the parrot also.

The parrot gave him advice, and he became wealthy and returned all the

gold, but kept the treasure he found himself on other islands; and when people

trouble the parrot, the captain with which will defeat those guys with his

mighty sword.

yesterday my mother and i went to the east lake about 40 kilometreseast of

the city. i had a good time there.
