冰川融化的元凶就是全球气候变暖。亚特兰蒂斯文明的沉没并非人为破坏，而是因为火山爆发引发海啸而淹没的。可现在威尼斯就不一样了，科学家预测，它将在二零四五年淹没。这可并非是自然灾害了。而是全球气候变暖而导致冰川融化使海平面上升，每年2厘米！别以为这个数目小，如果用相等容器装起来，那相当于好几栋楼啊！

物种灭绝也是环境恶化一大原因。地球上，每三分钟就会有一种生物灭绝，白鳍豚、穿山甲、狮子、山猫等都是濒临灭绝的物种。正因为人类过度开发，环境恶化，使它们无家可归最终死亡。

保护环境，不是一句口号。

地球是人类生命的摇篮，是世间万物的母亲，是人类的家园。曾经，它是那样美丽壮观。然而，不知从何时开始，地球妈妈的美丽不见了，取而代之的是一片黑色，他开始哭泣，开始呻吟……

地球妈妈为什么会变得如此丑陋不堪，变得如此黯然忧伤呢？这就只有问问人类自己了。

原来是过量的农药、大量的白色垃圾、随意丢弃的电池污染了松软、肥沃的土壤，使地球妈妈的皮肤变得既板结又贫瘠，而且还长满了难看的小痘痘。

原来是大量的工业废水、生活污水不经过处理就排进河流，流入海洋，使地球妈妈的血液变得肮脏。

原来是随意堆放的垃圾散发出腐烂的气味，越来越多的汽车排放出超标的尾气，越来越高的烟囱散发的乌云直入云霄，使地球妈妈呼吸不到新鲜的空气。

原来是良田遭遇荒芜、森林遭遇滥伐、绿洲遭遇荒凉，地球妈妈的肺逐渐衰竭。地球妈妈像一个羸弱的病人，太需要我们照顾了。

人类为了满足自己那贪婪的心，不断的破坏地球，毫无节制的的摧毁地球，让我们一起来保护地球吧！加入我们“保护地球”的大家听吧！
