这学期，我又在语文书中读到了《钢铁是怎样炼成的》的片段，对这本书产生了浓厚的兴趣，好奇保尔为什么会说出自己对生命的感悟。刚一放假，我便迫不及待地把这本书从柜子里翻出来。清晨，万籁俱寂，天蒙蒙亮，淡红的朝阳带来了新的一天，大地焕发着新的生机。

我迅速做了一些作业，然后急不可耐地拿出书。到这时我才发现，这本书小学的时候也读过，但仅仅是随便翻了一翻，略读了一会来应付读书作业而已，以至于都没剩下多少印象。现在，我便打算认真精读它。先翻到前言，我看到了本书的简介。这本书讲的是保尔从一个不懂事的少年逐渐成长为百折不挠。

意志坚定的无产阶级革命战士的故事。看到简介后，我便被书吸引住了，看了起来。书中有谢廖沙为救他人与敌人同归于尽的感动，也有保尔在墓前感叹生命的脆弱当我看到保尔双目失明，半身瘫痪却仍然坚持写作，创作出《暴风雨所诞生的》，为党，为国家作贡献时，我便对读书有了新的体会。原来，读书不仅仅是为了获得知识，而且是为了他人，为了自己的祖国，为中华之崛起而读书。

光阴如同白驹过隙，不知不觉地，时间已过去了很久。“终于看完了”我边合上书边自言自语。瞥向窗外，月亮圆似白玉盘，轻柔的月光洒在地上，仿佛是给地面镀了一层银。我望着月亮，又想起了古代的爱国诗人。：“先天下之忧而忧，后天下之乐而乐”，范仲淹为了国家能够崛起而努力读书;“各处所学，各尽其知，使国家不受外侮”詹天佑为了能使祖国更强大，不遭受西方列强欺侮而发奋读书。既然连古人都能为了祖国而读书，那作为新时代青年的我们又怎么不能努力读书，赓续红色基因呢?

生活因读书而精彩。我们要读书，为知识而读书，为理想而读书，更要为中华之崛起而读书。
