Bus: This is the most common transporting means, because its so cheap and

efficient. You can go to other cities by bus, but its very slow in rush hours.

And sometimes its dangerous to take the bus, because the traffic accidents may

happen at any time on high ways.

Train: Its suitable for the long trip. Not only it is fast and convenient,

but also its so economical. Most people can afford it. Whats more, its more

pleasant than taking any other means of transportation. You can walk around and

open the windows on the train. Besides, you can have a rest when you feel tired.

And then youll get to your destination the next day.

Plane: Air travel is very fast and enjoyable. It seems that our world is a

small place to live in, but its too expensive for many people.

Ship: Even though ship voyage is slow, its still exciting, for one can

enjoy the beautiful scenery on the sea and feel the soft sea wind.

Subway: It can be easily seen in big cities like Beijing and Shanghai. Its

so comfortable, convenient and always on time. You can take it to every part of

the city. As its built underground, you neednt care about the traffic jams.

Now it becomes more and more popular.

Today, the young generation likes to stay up, because after a day’s working, they will find fun at night, so they are getting home very late and then wake up late, too. As they are wake up so late, they will ignore their breakfast and wait for the lunch, today people will call the meal brunch, it means to eat things between breakfast and lunch time. The fact is that not eating breakfast is bad for our health, our body hasn’t take in things all the night, we need to take in some nutrition in the morning time, so the body can have the energy to work. Thinking about this, how a machine can work well without electricity, and the breakfast is the electricity. Since I went to college, I have made many friends and we shared the same interest. My friends and I liked traveling so much. We decided to travel abroad. The destination was Thailand. We spent ten days there and had a nice trip. It was such an unforgettable trip, and I learned a lot.

Hometown is the place where a person belongs. Chinese people have special

Two years ago, I lived in my hometown. It is a small village, so people

there get familiar with each other. When we walked on the country road, everyone

smiled when we saw each other. There was no distance for us. In the daytime, I

liked to go boating in the small river with my friends, or sometimes I could

environment has been polluted badly. When I was very small, I could see the

green trees and clean water around my hometown, but now, the river becomes

smaller and the rubbish can be seen everywhere. I feel so sad about it. We have

sacrificed so much to chase the profit. If we cant save the environment, we

wont live the comfortable life. For us, we should not throw away the rubbish

and plant more trees. The little things we do will make a great difference.

With the coming of national day, I have a one week holiday. I really expect

to it, because I want to have a short trip during these days. I will travel

toJiuzhaiValleywith my parents for three days. I have heard that the scenery

ofJiuzhaiValleyis very beautiful in autumn and it’s the best time to travel

there. Autumn is my most favorite season so I want to enjoy the beauty of such a
