with native speakers, I improved spoken English by listening to the English

effhctive.

According to the variety of social background, personal experience and

personal emotion, differernt people have different opinions towards things.

Thus, there is no doubt that generation gap exists everywhere. We always find

that there are big differences between us and the old generation. We always

regard the old are outdated, while they think us are crazy. They can’t bear the

dress we like, the fashion we pursue or even our childish thinking. Instead, we

could put up with their standpat thingking and their “feudal rulers”. Thus, the

generation gap becomes more and more obvious and serious. However, why don’t we

realize that opinions can be changed, while people can’t. So, we can think in an

other way, learn to accept. It is certain that we can narrow the generation gap

to live a more harmonious life.

Recently, “clearyour plate” campaign is more and more popular in society, which advocates saving against wasting. The campaign draws our attention to wasting on campus.Some students are noticed to throw away a lot of food in the canteen. As is often the case, some lights are still on with nobody in classrooms. What’s more, many a student spends much money buying unnecessary items. As far as Iam concerned, it’s high time that we fought against wasting. Here’re my suggestions. Firstly, I think our school should carry out various activities to arouse students’ awareness of saving. Secondly, relevant rules and regulations are supposed to be made to punish those who waste things. Most importantly, we should form the habit of saving from now. Now Ive graduated from collage and got a very good job.I know all my success owns to my kind teacher. Ill work harder and never give up again.

Hometown is the place where a person belongs. Chinese people have special

feelings about their hometown. No matter where they go, they won’t abandon it

and always make some time to visit. My hometown brings me so many happy memories

Two years ago, I lived in my hometown. It is a small village, so people

environment has been polluted badly. When I was very small, I could see the

green trees and clean water around my hometown, but now, the river becomes

smaller and the rubbish can be seen everywhere. I feel so sad about it. We have

sacrificed so much to chase the profit. If we cant save the environment, we

wont live the comfortable life. For us, we should not throw away the rubbish

foods, no junk foods. The green food is those pollution-free, high quality and

on. The meals of healthy diet should be cooked with fewer salt and oil. And the

junk food is those low nutrition, high calorie, processed food with much salt or
