昨天爸爸妈妈带我去了动物园，我便把作息表改成早上7：00起床，自然喂小乌龟就改到7：10分了。浑身疲惫的我劳累地一觉就睡到了大天亮，正睡着香呢，突然，只听见一声“咣当”。呀!我的头，我坐了起来,看了一眼表“天啊!”到时间该喂小乌龟了，我向鱼缸里一瞧，小乌龟呢?我四处打量了一下，原来小乌龟正在我床上散步呢!敢情小乌龟饿了，它竟然从鱼缸里爬了出来，砸在我头上向我抗议呢!

从此以后，我想我可不敢再晚喂小乌龟了，可爱的小乌龟呀!你说说我是喜欢你呢，还是讨厌你呢?

Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. Thousands of kinds of animals have disappeared from the earth forever. Hundreds more are on the danger list today.

Because we need animals, and because once they are gone, there will never be any more.Animals are more than just beautiful or interesting. They are more than just a source of food. Every animal has its place in the balance of nature. Destroying one kind of animal can create many problems. Because hawks eat rats and mice, with no hawks to keep down their numbers, the rats and mice multiplied quickly. Luckily, some people are working to help save the animals.

Some groups raise money to let people know about the problem. And they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger. Quite a few countries have passed laws. These laws forbid the killing of any animal or planton the danger list. Slowly, the number of some animals in danger is growing.
