The Great Wall has a history of over twenty centuries. The first part of it was built during the Spring and Autumn Period. It was during the Qin Dynasty that the kingdom of Qin united the dif ferent parts into one empire. To keep the enemy out of his empire, Emperor Qin Shi Huang had all the walls joined up. The Great Wall is wide enough at the top for five horses or ten men to walk side by side. Along the wall are watchtowers, where soldiers used to keep watch. Fires were lit on the the towers as a warning when the enemy came.

It was very difficult to build such a wall in the ancient days without any modern machines. All the work was done by hand. Thousands of men died and were buried under the wall they built. The Great Wall was made not only of stone and earth, but of the flesh and blood of millions of men.

Today the Great Wall has become a place of interest not only to the Chinese but to people from all over the world. Many of them have come to know the famous Chinese saying: "He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man."

中国的长城

中国的万里长城被称为“万里长城”。事实上，它有6000多公里长。它蜿蜒地从西向东，穿过沙漠，越过高山，穿过山谷，直到最后到达大海。它是世界奇观之一。

长城有二十多个世纪的历史。它的第一部分是在春秋时期建造的。战国时期，有更多的城墙被用来保卫不同王国的边界。正是在秦朝，秦国把帝夫的发福部分统一为一个帝国。为了把敌人赶出他的帝国，秦始皇把所有的城墙连在一起。于是，长城诞生了。

长城的宽度足以让五匹马或十个人并排走。沿着墙的是瞭望塔，士兵们常常在那里守望。当敌人到来时，在塔上点燃了火作为警告。

在古代没有任何现代机器的情况下，很难建造这样一堵墙。所有的工作都是手工完成的。成千上万的人死了，被埋在他们建造的城墙下。长城不仅是由石头和泥土建成的，而且是几百万人的血肉所组成的。

今天，长城不仅对中国人，而且对来自世界各地的人都有兴趣。他们中的许多人都知道中国著名的谚语:“没有到达长城的人不是真正的人。”

在以前所有的东西都是自己拥有的，而现在有了一个“好朋友”，它能让我们一起共享，它就是共享单车。共享单车从陌生到现在人们无时无刻都会用到它，这是为什么呢？

共享单车虽然不像人有感情，但是它能像人一样帮助我们解决问题，你在遇到堵车不妨走下出租车去骑共享单车；锻炼身体是不防去骑共享单车：同学们一起出去玩不想走路不妨一人骑一辆共享单车。共享单车给人们带来了欢乐和方便，无时无刻人们都会想到它，然而有些人们却把共享单车看成自己的。

共享单车是人人都可以使用的，而不是你骑过它，它就是你的了，在网上我看到这样一条新闻令我吃惊，让我对共享单车的感情更加浓烈。“有些人们把共享单车涂上别的颜色让它变成自己的”看到这句话，我心里不禁太跳了起来，为中国人感到羞愧。下面的这句话让我忍不住地掉下了眼泪“共享单车想怎么用就怎么用，我才不管是不是我的呢”。这是一个网友发出来的，看到这里我已经无法忍受中国人的做法。共享单车属于每一个人，而你们呢？占为仅有。还有一些共享单车的遭遇想必你们都知道，却没有人出来制止吗？例如：共享单车大量“残疾”；许多车上挂着一个牌子上面写着“此车已有主，请勿乱动”。

共享单车为我们的生活带来了方便，而人们却这样狠毒地对待他们，你们做的时候心不会觉得痛吗？你们不会，因为你们自私自利，认为国家东西就是自己的东西，你们不善待人们的好挚友，同样我们也不会善待摧残挚友的你们。

我想对所有摧残过他们的人说；“共享单车是我们的好朋友，我们应该保护他们而不是去破坏他们，它会使我们的城市和家园更加美好，也请我们一起携手维护我们的好挚友”。

人离开了就不会回来了，他们也一样，不要因为你们的心狠手辣让我们的好挚友永远离我们而去。让人他们永远陪伴着我们一起生活，终有一天我们会彼此分不开的。

如果我们是大树，缺不了水的滋润，共享单车就是滋润我们的清水；如果我们是那翱翔在空中的老鹰，缺不了共享单车给予我们的力量；如果我们是祖国未来的栋梁，请从现在开始一起携手保护我们身边的每一个人，每一种物品。

让我们与共享单车一起努力，骑着共享单车看着未来的世界。世界因有他们而变得绚丽多彩，世界因有它们的存在而更加精彩绝伦。
