Last summer I went to Vietnam with my parents. We stayed at a small village outside Saigon. The air and water was very clean and there were many kids playing in the mud along with water buffalos. 生日是什么？生日就是一年之中最特别的一天。我妈妈说生日没有什么好过的，所以我就不常过生日了。

让我最难忘的一次生日，就是在2018年。没错！正是今年。我妈本来不打算让我过，我的生日正好在期末考试的前一天，所以我妈妈才不让我过。我任性的说了一句：“我的生日我做主！哼！”我妈妈只好打算让我去老师那里过。但是我妈不情愿的答应了我。我开心地蹦起来。

妈妈带我去沃尔玛大超市去买好吃的零食，我跟我一个最好的同学都是一个大吃货，我买了棒棒糖，还有果冻，酸奶。

点完了蜡烛，我们关上了灯，四周瞬间暗了下来，在橘色烛光的照耀下，每个人的脸上都露出了快乐的笑容。大家一边拍手一边唱起了生日歌。大家唱着歌，我闭上了眼，许了个愿，心中无比兴奋。然后深吸口气，弯下腰，凑到蜡烛前，与大家一起吹灭了一根根蜡烛。

分蛋糕啦，我将蛋糕切成一小块一小块的三角体，小心地盛入纸盘中并递给一位位同学……直到同学们都拿到了蛋糕后，我们便开始品尝。香甜的奶油，松软的蛋糕，和那美味可口的水果让我真想多吃几块……

吃着蛋糕，我不由得想到了妈妈，我们每个人的生日都是母亲的受难日，我们每过一次生日，他们就会逐渐衰老，所以我们应多陪陪爸妈，帮他们都做一些力所能及的事，我想对爸爸妈妈说：“谢谢你们，你们辛苦了！”

Yesterday was March 20th. It was my birthday. I had a party. I ate too much.

Mike brought a carton of ice cream.

Jenny brought some candy. Mary brought a lot of cookies.

My mom made a cake. My dad bought a toy car for me. I was very happy.

At the party we sang and danced. We had a good time.

今天课间，大家正围成一圈七嘴八舌地讨论着自己是怎么过生日呢！我们快来看看吧！

王红自豪地说：“我上个星期过九岁生日，妈妈给我买了一个很大的蛋糕。”“我也刚刚过了9岁生日，生日那天是我们全家人一起过的。”张小军得意洋洋地说。“我的生日和你们的过法不太一样。”一个同学说，“我的九岁生日是全家和我一起在千桃园野餐呢！”“哇！你们的生日太棒了！”一个同学叫道。

大家七嘴八舌地讨论着，可是李晓明却沮丧地回到了座位上，他想：我也快过生日了，可是爸爸和妈妈都在外地工作，没有办法和我一起过九岁生日。

不过，李晓明的落寞被眼尖的张小军看见了，他对王红说：“李晓明的爸爸妈妈都在外地工作，我们可以在他家里给他办一个生日会。”

“好，可我们怎么给他买东西呢？”王红问。“我们凑钱呀！”张小军答道。

一天后，钱够了，大家也都准备好了，只等李晓明的生日到了！

今天，是九月初九──重阳节。重阳节早在战国时期就已经形成，到了唐代，重阳被正式定为民间的节日，此后历朝历代沿袭至今。

这一天，小红一家正吃饱饭在看新闻。小红问：“妈妈，今天新闻怎么讲的都是老人，不讲别的。”妈妈边织毛衣边说：“重阳节，当然讲老人了。”小红疑惑不解：“那讲老人，为啥没看见奶奶在电视上。”妈妈和爸爸都笑了，“哎，不是所有的老人都上电视，只有一部分。”小红似懂非懂地点了点头。

新闻看完了，爸爸妈妈催着小红去写作业，爸爸则抓起旁边的报纸，津津有味地看着。奶奶坐在椅子上，捶打着腿：“哎，人老不中用。这腿越来越不好使了。”爸爸又捧起报纸：“妈，不会啦，您还不老呢。”“是呀，您走路还那么有劲。”“想想五年前，家里这盆花还是我从山上挖来送给你们搬家大吉大利的，现在花这么大了，我的腿却再也爬不上那高高的山顶了。”小红听了，赶快过来帮奶奶捶捶背，按摩按摩双腿。忽然她像想起了什么似的，跑向厨房里。

厨房里的小红一边抹汗水，一边切着“柚”人芳香的熟柚子，她将装着柚子的盘子端到客厅来，嘴里却不停地咽着口水，她眼睛盯着柚子，端到奶奶面前：“奶奶，吃片柚子吧!”“不用，你自己吃吧!”“奶奶，您就吃一片吧!我好报答您多年的照顾啊!您生下了爸爸，才有了我呀!而且您做事尽心尽力，不疏忽，导致您长了这么多白头发!难道我不能孝顺您吗?”奶奶顿时热泪盈眶，“乖孙女，我的乖孙女!”奶奶伸出手来拿柚子，奶奶和小红相视一笑，小红甜滋滋地说了句：“奶奶，重阳节快乐!”

爸爸妈妈看了，笑得眼泪都眯成了一条线，不停地夸：“你今晚可真懂事!你真孝顺……”

盼星星，盼月亮，终于盼到了我的生日了。早上我一觉醒来，妈妈就对我说：“晚上给你过生日。”耶!我一蹦三尺高。这一天，我收到了很多人的祝福和礼物，还有一个个的红包，大舅舅的，大舅妈的，小舅舅的，小舅妈的，阿姨的.，姨夫的，哥哥的……乐得我眼睛都眯成了两条缝。

小舅舅还给我买了两个大蛋糕，我迫不及待地打开了盖子，看着花花绿绿的奶油，闻着甜甜的奶油香味，我真是口水三千丈，恨不得一口把它吃掉。可是妈妈说一定要留到晚上。时间过得很慢，中午饭我只吃了一点点，只想快一点到晚上，可以和大家一起分享我的大蛋糕。

好不容易挨到了晚饭时间，外公给我们烧了很多好吃的菜。有绿盈盈的炒青菜、香喷喷的芹菜炒肉丝、油亮亮的红烧肉、色彩鲜艳的胡萝卜炒肉片、营养丰富的炒鸡蛋、味道鲜美的炸鸡腿、花菜炒肉片、炖鸡汤、水饺、炒年糕，还有吃的面条……我们开心地喝着雪碧、果汁，一边快活地交谈着。

过了一会，我的大蛋糕终于上桌了。我今年10岁，所以插上了10根蜡烛，然后大家就唱起了生日歌，我还许了个愿，内容嘛……保密。我把第一块蛋糕给了妈妈，因为她是最辛苦的。我把第二块蛋糕给了我最喜欢的哥哥，又把第三块给了我的小舅舅，因为是他帮我买了这块大蛋糕，我要谢谢他。

蛋糕虽然吃完了，但是今年的生日我永远也忘不了，因为这是我过的最开心的一个生日了。
