她先给我们讲了讲英语单词，但是我听的一头雾水，整节课也是云里雾里的，什么都没听懂。放学后我带着英语课本来到校门口等待妈妈来接我回家，妈妈来到校门口笑着说：“你怎么带着英语课本啊？”“我没有听懂老师讲的英语。”刚说完我的眼泪就在眼眶里打转。

回到家妈妈给我打开录音让我跟着读，可还是没有听懂。然后就着急得趴在桌子上哭了起来。妈妈跟我说：“别着急，等你哥哥放学回来教教你。”话音刚落哥哥便打开门大叫一声：“我回来了！”把我逗得笑了起来。哥哥看我脸上还挂着泪珠，便问我怎么回事，我跟哥哥说了原因之后哥哥跟我说：“没事，走，我教你去！”然后我就跟着哥哥来到我的房间开始教我英语。

哥哥一边开着玩笑一边鼓励并教我学习英语，这让我觉得英语没有那么枯燥无味，使我对它充满了兴趣。经过哥哥的耐心指导让我学会了老师之前所讲的那些内容并且预习了后面一个单元，这使我觉的英语并没有想象中的那么难。

哥哥对我的鼓励，让我信心倍增，从那时起我就更努力地，上课专心的听讲，课后细心的做练习、听录音，所以现在的英语还挺不错的呢。

天渐渐黑了下来，皎洁的月亮悄悄挂上了树梢，遮着脸，好似穿着银纱裙的仙女，树条在涩涩寒风中飘荡着，却能听见悦耳的鸟鸣。我看着挂钟，等待着那清脆的响声打破沉寂。时间一分一秒地过去，过几个小时就是我的生日——一个使我兴奋的日子，我的父亲前天请了假又定了火车票，特意要赶我生日回来。我的父亲在外地工作，好几个月我都没有见到他了，我在盼望，我在等待，希望那清亮的铃声打破我的忧虑与不安。“叮咚，叮咚”，的确是铃声啊！我按捺不住心中的激动，像只快活的鸟儿似的“飞”向门旁。打开门，是那个熟悉的身影——我的父亲。我的父亲，日夜辛苦工作的父亲，不知何时，从他的头发中冒出了许多“金头发”，不过父亲仍然显得格外精神！

爸爸一把搂住我和母亲，久久不肯松开。

第二天，一缕阳光透过窗户射了进来，柔和的光如丝般洒在我们身上，我和父亲享受着日光带给我们的温暖与快乐。开心的日子，总是过得飞快，时间不知什么时候就悄无声息地从指间溜走了。

太阳下了岗，代替它的是月亮，我和父亲坐在沙发上，等我妈妈下班回家“咔咔”门打开了，妈妈回来了，我开心极了，一家人团聚了！爸爸变戏法似的拿出生日蛋糕，一拍手，爸爸妈妈就合唱生日歌，伴我吹灭了蜡烛，在欢声笑语中，我又长大了一岁。

这时，爸爸对我说：“我有一个最特别的礼物要送给你！”我惊讶极了，“什么礼物？”我迫不及待地问。我刚问爸爸就说出了很多故事的名字，我随便点几个，他都能把故事的大概讲出来。我的父亲天天给我打电话，没有一天忘记过，而那些小故事正是我通过电话给爸爸讲的，我的眼睛湿润了，我不停对自已说：“要忍住！”可是泪水还是从眼中流了出来。

快乐和忧伤好像是一对亲密要好的朋友，我的爸爸又要去工作了，我和妈妈把爸爸送到火车站，临走前我、爸爸和妈妈拥抱在了一起。望着爸爸远去的身影，大街上笼罩着一层薄雾。
