Summer can be very hot in southern Taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. 今天的天气真奇怪，早晨还是多云的天。到了下午6点钟左右，天边渐渐泛起一层薄薄的雾气，笼罩着远处的山头。我还以为是夜色朦胧了天边。隔了五分钟，当我再次伏在窗边眺望远方时，意外地发现窗玻璃上多了一些颗粒状的小水珠，细细端详，每一颗小水珠里都包含着一团小小的黑色灰尘微粒，我好生奇怪。再放眼往远处看，高大的楼房仿佛系上了一条条轻柔的白纱，霓虹灯点缀的彩带也越发缥缈起来;停车场上过往的车子也开启了雾灯，射出的灯光如同一根根光柱，很耐看。天渐渐暗了下来，窗上的水珠越集越多，慢慢地，小水珠吮吸得越来越大。窗外的一切是那么的静谧美好，我不禁也被深深吸引了……

正当我陶醉之时，一道闪电划过天空，伴随着雷电，大雨倾盆而下。雨水拍打着玻璃，尘土也被冲刷得干干净净。刚刚的雾蔼，也被吹得没有了影子。咦，这不就是自然书上所说的雾霾现象吗?我翻出家里一本厚厚的《十万个为什么》，哈，终于找到了——对，这就是雾霾!它是因为空气中悬浮着大量的烟、尘等微粒遇到水气而形成的混浊现象，使视线模糊并导致能见度下降。怪不得窗玻璃上有星星点点的微粒，原来是空气中的灰尘在作怪啊!

因为现在空气污染越严重，所以雾霾天气就越多，危害也就越大。有时会使汽车不能开，飞机不能降落。要减少雾霾天气，我们必须要保护环境，多植树多种草，提高空气质量，为人类造福。

Animals and human beings, we have thought, have feelings, also have their own way of life, more freedom.

We should not to destroy their peaceful and harmonious life, we have no right to destroy their life, of course, there is no reason to blame hurt them more.

Whenever we place series of delicious food on the table, such as: snakes, frogs, and other animals. Should we think of it, each of us to eat a kind of animal, how much is to go to farmers for banker harmful insects. Today, I still went to my mothers office. My mother was very busy, so was my father. They always live in Beijing. They must get up early. Because they will manage the factory. As a middle school student my priority is study which occupies most time and energy in my life.

Therefore my life sometimes seems a little boring. However it’s not that bad. First study brings me knowledge that will be useful to all my life. When we go to school, the teachers tell us that we should respect our parents. Parents are who raise us, giving all their hearts to look after us. For my parents, they are the best people for me, when I am sick, they look after me carefully. When I go home late, they will worry about me. They give me so much, I love them.
