又到了一年的除夕，乡亲们象往年都忙着收拾东西准备逃往深山，这时候村东头来了一个白发老人，白发老人对一户老婆婆说只要让他在她家住一晚，他定能将“年”兽驱赶走．众人不信，老婆婆劝其还是上山躲避的好，但老人坚持留下，众人见劝他不住，便纷纷上山躲避去了。

当“年”兽象往年一样准备闯进村肆虐的时候，突然传来爆竹声，“年”兽混身颤栗，再也不敢向前凑了，原来“年”兽最怕红色，火光和炸响．这时大门大开，只见院内一位身披红袍的老人哈哈大笑，“年”兽大惊失色，仓惶而逃．

第二天，当人们从深山回到村里时，发现村里安然无恙，这才恍然大悟，原来白发老人是帮助大家驱逐“年”兽的神仙，人们同时还发现了白发老人驱逐“年”兽的三件法宝．从此，每年的除夕，家家都贴红对联，燃放爆竹，户户灯火通明，守更待岁．这风俗越传越广，就成了中国民间最隆重的传统节日“过年” 。

今年大年初四，我去外婆家拜年。

刚到外婆家坐了一会儿，舅舅便带我们一大家子去他早已预订好的酒店“搓”一顿。我们这一大家子共十六人，外婆和姥爷，大姨妈家四口人和二姨妈家的三口人，我妈排行老三，我们一家三人，舅舅一家四口人，刚好将一张大大的圆形餐桌围个严实。

饭菜已上齐备，舅舅做东主持饭局，我们在舅舅的祝福声中举杯共贺新春团圆。大家边吃边喝，边说边笑，每个人的脸上都洋溢着抑制不住的幸福和快乐。

父母们依次都在给外婆和姥爷拜年，送上他们对父母、兄妹最真诚的祝福。举杯间，我一直在想接下来的拜年活动我要怎么说，看来要针对每个人的情况送上祝福语：外婆腿脚不舒服，我要祝她早日康复，身体健康；舅舅是老板，我要祝他财源滚滚，心想事成；还有大伯父、二伯父，我心里盘算着如何把最美的祝福送给他们，也不能忘了大姨妈和二姨妈她们，我希望他们永远年轻漂亮！

轮到我们这些小辈的开始拜年了，这拜年是有规矩的，我们按年龄大小进行，大的先说，小的后说。我是家里最小的，每次都是最后一个，这难度可就大了。我这人争强好胜，想让自己说的每一个词都和哥哥姐姐们的不一样，相当困难啊！

二表哥比我大不了多少，有趣的是他生性腼腆不善言谈，在这种场合想让他说话，脸涨得通红，半天都憋不出一个字来。没办法，大家只好教他什么他说什么，可照样还是闹出了笑话。我们说：“万事如意，天天开心。”他一张嘴说成了“万事开心，天天如意”，把大家都逗得直乐呵。

今年的家庭大团拜，我们除了送上自己祝福，又多加了一个节目表演。大表姐学的是舞蹈专业，她给我们来了一段技巧要求极高的现代舞；二表姐和三表姐表演了火热的拉丁舞。我也不甘示弱亮出了自己的拿手歌曲，要知道，我唱这首歌还得过奖呢！今天终于可以在亲人面前秀一把了！

不过，我们这些小辈的可没白忙活，还“赢”了不少压岁钱呢！

My spring festival

This year I have a happy spring featival with my family.

On New Years Eve,all the family people get together to have a big dinner in the resturant.During the dinner we have a small talk and play some games.

Thanks to this spring festival,it make our family people get toghther.We enjoy ourselves and in the new year we all fighting.

在除夕夜,全家人聚在一起吃顿大餐.吃饭的时候,我们有一个聊天和玩游戏.

Waking up on New Year， everybody dresses up。 First they extend greetings to their parents。 Then each child will get money as a New Year gift， wrapped up in red paper。 People in northern China will eat jiaozi， or dumplings， for breakfast， as they think "jiaozi" in sound means "bidding farewell to the old and ushering in the new"。 Also， the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China。 So people eat them and wish for money and treasure。

Southern Chinese eat niangao (New Year cake made of glutinous rice flour) on this occasion， because as a homophone， niangao means "higher and higher， one year after another。" The first five days after the Spring Festival are a good time for relatives， friends， and classmates as well as colleagues to exchange greetings， gifts and chat leisurely。

China has 56 ethnic groups。 Minorities celebrate their Spring Festival almost the same day as the Han people， and they have different customs。

In different wind, thousands of the different customs. Every place has the custom of every place.

My hometown is in hunan, where the custom of the Chinese New Year is very interesting. On December 29 (New Years eve), our family size around the reunion dinner together, we pay attention to the family reunion dinner, we eat must have three details: fish, chicken, meat. Must be steamed fish, the fish will also enlarge of peppers, such a symbol of wealth, and every year more than one million head. The chicken must be a rooster. Meat is the bacon, our bacon is not like sichuan there steamed, but with eating Fried  string beans, so eat very delicious, especially with chewy. After dinner, well shou sui, the family around together, happy, talk about the experience of the year suantiankula.

On the first morning, we quietly like mom and dad say something geely (New Year), so that we can get an orange and one is, such as a symbol of good luck.
