Hello. My English name is Henry. I am eleven years old. As you see， I am tall and thin. I am a member of our school sports team. I run very fast. I study very hard， too. All my teachers like me. I am also active. Last term， I acted like a rabbit in English in front of all my schoolmates. I like English better and better.

My favourite colour is blue. I am always so happy to see the blue sky. But I am so sorry that the sky in Dongguan is usually not blue.

Blue is the colour of the swimming pools. I like swimming. Summer comes， I swim in the blue water. I don‘t feel hot any more.

我有一个爱好，就是下国际象棋。每当有时间，我就会打开电脑在中国游戏中心里面下棋，如果没有对手就会看别的高手下棋。

在下棋的时候，我只要被对方吃了一个强子，我就想认输。可妈妈没这么认为，她觉得有一些时候别人也会出差错，不到最后她不会认输的。但我还是执迷不悟，就自己逃跑了，让妈妈一个人应付。有一次，我妈还真的和对手下和棋了。还有一些时候我方子有利的时候，我就会开心的一蹦一跳。可妈妈说，还没到最后，不能决定谁输谁赢。

我们在选择对手的时候，我只要看到比我高一些的对手时，就不敢和他下。而妈妈觉得高出我们一些的会有挑战，还能增加我们的棋艺。我觉得和这些高手下又刺激又紧张，生怕我会输了。妈妈对我说，你只要静下心来，慢慢想，输了没关系，只要你尽力了。

妈妈说，下棋主要是培养一个人的耐心和毅力，不能像我这样下的很快。我妈妈今天还开玩笑说陈老师下棋像老人打太极拳，而钟老师像在跳恰恰舞。两个不同风格的老师。我下棋的缺点是不动脑，在那里动来动去的。我以后一定要改正这些坏毛病。

The animal is the friend of our human beings. We live in the same earth. Animals and human beings can’t be separated from each other. But some animals are getting less and less. So it’s necessary for us to protect animals, especially wild animals. Some people kill wild animal because of money. It’s illegal. Beside, because of the development of society, human needs more space to live in, so we explore the forest. Animals have less space to live in. The number of wild animals decreases year by year. It’s high time to take actions to protect wild animals.

动物是人类的朋友，我们共同生活在地球上。动物和人类不可以彼此分离。但有些动物的数量越来越少，所以我们有必要去保护动物，特别是野生动物。一小部分人为了赚钱而去猎杀野生动物，这是违法行为。此外，由于社会的发展，人类需要的生活空间，所以要开发森林。然而动物的生存空间却变少了。野生动物的数量逐年减少，现在该是采取措施保护野生动物的时候了。

我看了《生命的颜色》这部电视剧，主人公是两个爱滋病患者。剧情深刻，让人感动不已。最催人泪下的是倪和柳的那份友情。柳因一次输血感染艾滋病，传染给他的爱人，爱人雷自杀。而柳却有身孕，她想生下孩子，但又有死的念头。一次她持刀自杀，被倪发现，两人夺刀划破了倪的胳膊，倪为此也染上了艾滋病。可她们俩依然是非常要好的朋友，当倪得知得艾滋病的真相时，并没有怪柳。仍在柳病危之际，帮助柳，给了柳很大的安慰。

笑谈人生，何为友?朝夕相处为友，那友情不是太便宜了?交朋友不是一个简单的过程，那是一种灌输。好朋友，在于一种信任和支持，而信任却是一种弥足珍贵的东西，没有人能够用金钱买得到，也没有人能够用利诱和武力争取得到，它来自于一个人的灵魂深处。支持是内心的力量，舍生命去支持他人的力量，有了这种信任和支持便可以得到圣洁的友情。但怎样将友情经营下去?有一首歌叫《友谊地久天长》，谁不想让友谊地久天长，但纸上谈兵的友谊就像一个空空的树栋，只有谊，没有情。片中的倪，舍生命不顾去照顾朋友，不记恨朋友给自己带来的灾难，这叫情，是真情。有谁能做到，如今谁不为自己的利益着想?哪对朋友可以以生命相陪，得到的便是一种珍贵的和善美。现实生活中，人们早已将友情置之度外，心中有的只有功权名利，只有自己的利益。如果能做到不管我与你相识多久，都能真心面对对方，诚挚的呵护友情，那么人也就回到了本性的善良。先不说让生命开花结果，若能让友谊开花结果那便是最有意义的事。像刘备、关羽、张飞那样桃园三结义，不求同年同月同日生，只求同年同月同日死的友情是多么坚贞又是多么难得。和那些为一时权和利交朋友图谋的人是不能相提并论。

人的一生是多么短暂而又多么漫长，佛家说：一叶一菩提，农家说一花一世界。那么一个好朋友岂不是一生的知己。人生最宝贵的是生命，人生最需要的是学习，人生最愉快的是工作，人生最重要的是友谊。友谊是工作和学习的支持，它可以让我们快乐也可以让我们不快乐。它可以支撑我们走向成功，咀嚼生命的真理。

友情不只是两个字的意，而是千万字的情。交朋友重在交好朋友，因为友情不是一件普通的东西。
