人类生活的地球已有46亿年的历史，地球丰饶的资源和多姿多彩的自然景观为人类生存与发展提供了必不可少的条件。人类在漫长的历史发展过程中，依靠开发利用自然资源繁衍生息。在增强生产力、提高生活水平的同时，对地球的索取日益变本加厉，不可再生的资源在迅速消耗，大片原始森林、矿产资源消耗巨大，以及工业化的快速发展，也影响着周围的环境，废水、废气、废物的排放，使地球上的水源、空气和土地遭到了严重的污染。造成生态系统失衡，环境恶化，灾害频发，水土流失加剧，人类面临着巨大挑战。所有这一切都在向人类发出警示：人类在破坏地球环境的同时，也在毁灭着自己。人类只有一个地球，尊重地球就是尊重生命，拯救地球就是拯救未来。

我们每位xxx家人，都应该认识地球，爱护地球，崇尚科学，树立节约资源、保护环境的意识，树立全面、协调、可持续的科学发展观，自觉地从自己做起，从身边做起，为保护和改善地球环境做出应有的贡献。为此，我们向全体xxx家人提出如下倡议：

一、倡导文明行为，从我做起，不随地吐痰，不乱扔废弃物，保护绿色环境;

二、保护地球，不污染环境;保护生物，使生物与人类共存;使万物与环境谐美相处，创造生态平衡条件，美化地球，再造环境;

三、当前，我们面临着资源短缺的困扰。我们应该做到： 1、从节约一滴水，一度电开始，树立勤俭节约的美德。2、大力节约资源。不使用或少用一次性饭盒、筷子等消费品，不浪费纸张。3、使用环保电池，防止汞、铬污染、慎用洗涤剂，减少水污染。4、自觉保护生活环境，积极参与社会绿化美化活动，保护绿地花木。5、提倡垃圾分类。清理“白色”污染，把废塑料袋打个节再扔进垃圾箱。6、郊游及远足自备垃圾袋，做到文明出游;7、节省用纸，必要时才打印，尽量双面使用，安排把废纸回收再生…8、使用可再生材料制成的工作生活用品;9、收集废铁、废纸等物品，使它们得到循环利用;10、短途出行尽可能骑自行车或者以步代车。
