历史上的人改变了他的物理环境,以改善自己的生活方式。借助技术工具改变了地球的许多自然特征。他将林地和草原改造成为农田,使江河变成湖泊和水库,用于灌溉或用于水力发电。男人也修改了地球表面由高山沼泽和切断山区修建公路和铁路。

然而,人的物理环境的变化并不总是有有益的结果。今天,空气和水的污染是越来越危害地球的健康。每天成千上万吨的机动车辆的排气管排出的气体排放出来。工厂释放的烟雾污染了空气工业化地区和周边地区的农村。水的污染也同样有害。海洋的整个生态平衡正在改变,工业废物已经使许多河流毫无生气。

现在,环境保护比以往任何时候都更为紧迫。正如我们所知,环境的巨大破坏已带来负面影响,甚至对人类造成巨大威胁的存在。对这些问题漠不关心将意味着自杀。因此,应采取有效措施并通过法律来保护环境。不然的话,人类势必遭受缺乏所造成的严重后果关心生存环境

环境污染是人类面临的一个严峻的问题，浩瀚宇宙，只有地球才适合居住人类。这里有山有水，有树木花草，有许许多多小动物，有我们人类所需要的一切，是我们的;“生命之舟”，但我们人类却为了个人利益而乱砍滥伐，破坏生态平衡，导致了今天这个地步。

奔腾的河流是大地母亲的血管，河水好似流淌的血液，它有一种神奇的力量，流到哪能里，哪里就充满生机，人类择水而居，河流便成了人类生存的依托，可是，今天呢?许多河流又生病了，清澈的河水变得又黑又臭，小河里的鱼虾们早就“逃之夭夭”了。人们经过这里时，总会捂着鼻子，皱着眉头，发出阵阵叹息。而造成河流，湖泊，海洋等污染原因是我们人类啊!水中的有毒有害的物质使地表水被污染，地下水也难逃厄运，水污染破坏水资源，我们要利用的水越来越少，为了保护水资源，我们要防止水污染，禁止向水域倾倒工业废渣垃圾等脏物。

人类靠呼吸氧气来维持生命，人可以几天不喝水，几周不吃饭，但如果缺少氧气十几分钟便可能窒息死亡，清洁的空气对生命来说，比任何东西都重要，在我们的周围，随时可以见到各式各样的烟囱，工厂里有大烟囱，家灶里有小烟囱。这些烟囱往往人排出“五彩缤纷”的废气，污染环境，就连汽车，飞机和轮船等交通工具也会排出废气，所以注意保持环境整洁不被污染是十分重要的。

有人曾经问过环保专家;“为什么要建设绿色家园?”那么我可以回答这个问题，人类建设绿色家园为了给自己净化心灵，给自己添加欢悦祥和。

人类现实生活中，得意之时，常八九，不顺心事有三二，有的人因为工作或经营等种种因素，发雷霆，家中谁也劝不了，然而被好友拉到居室外绿色树花丛中谈心，耳听鸟鸣翠枝，眼看花间蝶戏，阵阵和风说来顿时心旷神怡，怒也消了气也平了，友人的劝也听进去了，于是，家庭和睦了，朋友亲近了，情绪乐观了，以坦荡胸襟去迎接各种挑战。

我们工作余后，领着家人漫步在绿水湖畔花树丛中，叙亲情赏美景，一天的疲劳顿时消失了，有时遇到自己的好友，三五成群坐在草坪上，或谈心，或品茗可对奕，有时兴致来临哼上几句京戏，唱上几句歌谣，跳上几曲交谊舞，打上几手太极拳，真是其乐融融，更加密切了社会的人际关系，绿色领我们走进欢悦祥和的气氛。

所以同学们，我们应该带头保护环境，虽然宇宙空间很大，人们可以发明人造卫星，但是地球必竟是我们的母星球啊!为了挽球奄奄一息的地球，我们多为地球添绿加草种花。爱护地球。

让我们共同拥有的家园更加美丽，更加灿烂，让地球更好地造福于我们吧!

Ladies and gentlemen,

I feel it a great honor to have a chance to give a speech here, talking

about the haze weather, which causes lots of bad effects on our health and life.

We breathe polluted air, making us suffer from lung and liver diseases. Besides,

because of it, the flights have to be canceled. All kind of transports may run

into each other, resulting in much damages and lots of injuries.

As far as I am concerned, it is high time that we did something. As

individuals, we should ride the underground or buses instead of cars to reduce

carbon dioxide. As government, more measures should be taken by carrying out the

related law on pollution.

In summary, we’re all looking forward to breathe fresher air and live a

happier life. Everyone should be a part of this job.
