巴金说过：“我的生命始终保持着这样一个信念，生命的意义在于付出，在于给予，而不是接受，也不是在于争取。”米歇潘说：“生命是一条艰险的狭谷，只有勇敢的人才能通过。”

我很喜欢这两句话，最近我也彻底的理解了它们的含义。五一期间，因为我在学校体检中查出脊柱右侧弯曲，爸爸妈妈带我去了平乐骨科医院，当时我的心情很不好，以为天到要塌下来了一样，虽然医生说我没事，只要注意坐姿，加强锻炼就好，可是我的心情还是好不起来，接着爸爸妈妈带我去了五楼病房，去之前，爸爸告诉我这里住着位双腿截肢的姐姐，她是一位导游，名叫付瑶，在一次带团途中，出了车祸，结果姐姐的两条腿都没有了，现在正在做康复理疗。来到病房，我看到了姐姐脸红扑扑的，看起来很健康，很有活力，说话也很轻柔，看不到一点悲伤，姐姐的妈妈不停的跟我爸爸妈妈说谢谢，我才知道原来爸爸仅仅在新闻上看到付瑶姐姐这个事故，除了帮忙找法律援助，还带头倡议募捐了十多万给付瑶姐姐治病，爸爸手下的导游和朋友差不多都捐了款，还自发地来看望付瑶姐姐，给她带来了不少欢乐和动力。

这时的姐姐躺在病床上，在被褥下，我只能看到她的上半身，我真不敢想象一个没有了双腿的人，她的内心还可以这么平静，难道她没有想过以后的日子该怎么过吗？正好这几天我们学习了海伦·凯勒的一篇《生命 生命》，我想付瑶姐姐一定是和作者一样的坚强，在困难面前永远都是抬起头勇往直前！

我为我有这样在乎生命，对于弱者毫不保留地给予帮助的爸爸感动自豪，我为认识身残志坚的付瑶姐姐感动骄傲，你们都是我学习的榜样，因为你们让我认识到了生命的可贵！我以后要好好地珍惜生命。决不让它白白流失，使自己活得更加光彩有力！

晚上，妈妈给我买了本书， 《假如给我三天光明》，这本书是作家海伦·凯勒的散文代表作，她以一个身残志坚的柔弱女子的视角，告诫身体健全的人们应珍惜生命，珍惜造物主赐予的一切。她的作品影响了整个世界。凯勒被认为是20世纪最富感召力的作家之一，美国《时代周刊》把她列为20世纪美国十大英雄偶像。正当我在争分夺秒地看书的时候，我们同时学习了她的一篇《生命 生命》，看到这些，我真的很感动，我想尽快看完后，马上把书送给付瑶姐姐，让她也和海伦。凯勒一样坚强，一样有所作为！
