So they all take the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. On the way to the Emerald City they met some difficulties, but they solved them successfully. After they met the Wizard of Oz, the wizard gave them another challenge—to kill the bad Witch of the West and they accept. During the way to the Witch of the West’s house, they were caught by the witch and Dorothy was requested to work for her. One day, when the witch tried to catch Dorothy’s red shoes, Dorothy threw some water on the witch by accident and the Witch of the West disappeared. Only water can kill her. So Dorothy went back to the Emerald City with her friends but they found the Wizard of Oz is not a real wizard, he is also a man came from Kansas, and he is just a conjurer. He wanted to go back to Kansas too. So he made a big balloon and prepared to go. 故事主要以发生在那个时代的四门婚姻为主题，其中最主要的，自然是发生在女主角伊丽莎白·班纳特与男主角费茨威廉·达西之间的爱恨情仇。伊丽莎白是个勇于追求爱情、漂亮聪明、坚强可爱的中产阶级女子。故事主要以她对达西先生从一开始的厌恶到尊敬，再到爱慕为线索，也穿插了在几个发生在她身边的幸福或不幸的婚姻。

十八世纪，大英帝国正处于国家发展的巅峰时期，而奥斯丁却把视线关注在英国乡间，她以朴实的文笔描写出乡村里的各种爱恨情仇以及人们的心理变化和情感。当时英国乡间的生活在作者看来是惬意悠闲的，纯朴中包含平凡自然，但是整个英国社会的影响力始终波及着乡村，如势利、炫耀、虚荣和对婚姻的看法。

看了这本书后我想了很多，不仅是当时人们对婚姻的评判标准，还有他们对爱情的理解。在当时的社会，婚姻结缔的幸福条件就是男方有丰厚的家产，女方有不错的嫁妆，这样的婚姻就会被众人羡慕。可是这样的结合真的会给人们带来精神上的满足吗?诚然，这样的婚姻类似于一种资产合并，以钱作为婚姻的基础，在我看来是不明智而且可笑的。“什么是爱情”，这个问题似乎当时的大部分人都不能真正理解其实对于这样的社会状况，或许会有那么一些人在心里默默地反抗。所以我佩服伊丽莎白敢恨敢爱的性格，她能正视自己内心的想法而不被物质生活冲昏头脑，我想这样的人真的很可贵，在我看来，她便是那个时代的勇士。

最令我感动的情节是书中伊丽莎白在搞清楚之前对达西的误会后她所表现出来的坚持。看过这本书的人都了解，伊丽莎白消除对达西的偏见后，他们对彼此产生了日益增长的感情，而伊丽莎白对这份感情的坚持和风雨无阻的与之同行，是令人感动的。

很多时候，我们都会忽略事实的真相，因而对一个人一件事产生错误的注解。所以我们应该学会正确的判断和耐心的摸索，这样，或许我们能看到一些很美好的人。

只有了解才会有改变，当偏见化成真诚，那便是最幸福的时刻。

新的英语课程标准引发了一系列变化，首先加强了指导性和可操作性；其次体现语言学习的规律和渐进性；再次体现了弹性和选择；第四有的地方降低了难度；第五有的地方提高了要求。对教学模式和教师本人提出了新的挑战,同时也提供了新的发展空间。

一、教师是活动的指导者，学生是活动的主体

《英语课程标准》的基本理念中提到“让学生在教师指导下，通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作探究等活动方式，实现任务的目标，感受成功。学生在学习过程中进行情感态度和学习策略的调整，以形成积极的学习态度，促进语言实际运用能力的提高。”

这就要求我们英语老师要掌握一定的课堂和课外教学艺术，开展集趣味、知识、娱乐、教育于一体的英语活动，能为学生提供尽可能多的语言实践机会。教师要用直观形象的形体语言，丰富多彩的表情，幽默风趣的语言表达，使学生在轻松、愉快、和谐的氛围中复习旧知，学习新知，提高学习信心。

教学中教师要根据教学目标，学生的需要和客观条件，创造性地探索有效的教学方法，要学会活用教法突破难点。我们可以鼓励学生大胆地模仿，带表情说句子。如“I am hungry.”（可以作饥饿状）；“I am thirty.”（可以作口渴状）。在教单词或句子时，我们老师可以带领学生做动作，甚至做夸张的动作或用夸张的朗读语调，孩子们特别喜欢。“big”两手张开画个大圈，“small”用两手指做个特别小的小圈，“strong”出示手臂，并鼓起肌肉，“thin”做一个瘦的动作。学完单词后，老师做出动作，学生就会说出这个单词。

二、多用评价语，真诚激励。

《英语课程标准》的基本理念中对评价案例进行了重新整合和调整，补充了大量的可操作性比较强的评价方式和方法，提到“英语教学中提倡过程性评价方式，把对学生的评价贯穿到平常的学习过程之中。注重培养和激发学生学习的积极性和自信心。”

因为每个学生，都渴望得到老师的重视和肯定，渴望得到激励和赞许。让每个学生都能享受到鼓励、温暖的阳光，这样无论哪种知识水平、能力、层次的学生都能获得心理上的满足，从而使学生有一种积极向上的源动力。所以教师的评价语应丰富多彩，真诚激励。下面的句子应该多说：Good! Great! Wonderful! You are clever! Don’t worry!

三、面向全体学生、尊重学生的自主选择

《英语课程标准》的教学建议中提到“尊重每个学生，建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道。”平时学生如果主动帮我拿教具，我会向他致谢“Thank you”，若不小心撞到了学生，我会很抱歉地道声“Sorry”……虽然是点点滴滴的小事情小细节，但我希望从中带给学生“师生平等”的观念。

老师因为尊重学生而更关注他们的个性发展，学生因为受到老师的尊重会更乐意亲近老师，也就更加尊敬老师，这种心灵上的沟通和交流，一旦形成健康的双向互动，正面效应就会成倍增长，师生关系也会更加和谐地向前发展。

总之，新课程下的课堂教学，应是通过师生互动、学生之间的互动，共同发展的课堂。它既注重了知识的生成过程，又注重了学生的情感体验和能力的培养。因此，我们在教学中对教材的处理、教学过程的设计以及评价的方式都要以学生的发展为中心，以提高学生的全面发展为宗旨，这才是课改的最终目标。

《山丘上的约会》这个故事中最奇妙的部分，在于两们“笔友”彼此间从未见过面，单单只靠书信文字所产生的美好想象来塑造彼此的形象，而且在无形中不断地增强彼此的美好印象。相信很多人都有这样的经验：只听到某人或某篇文章的形容，就对没见过的人、事、物产生好奇，进而想象，总是越想越美好。

《山丘上的约会》故事最精彩的部分在于两个素未谋面的人终于决定要见面了，让人紧张心跳的也正是这一刻，两人都从对方最高的期望出发，结局如何呢？作者采用了卡通化的造型，夸张地强化了故事中两个主角的差异，不论在身高或体态上都不同。很戏剧化的是，正当玲玲抬头猛往高处寻找将会从天而降的偶像时，男主角瓜瓜也正奋力地跳上山丘去赴约呢！作者运用书本竖立时的直式版面，营造出男女主角见面时的“震憾”画面，令人拍案叫绝！故事中的主角虽然都是田墅里常见的动物，但两者的外形、习性截然不同，所以见面的过程充满了曲折、趣味。孩子在阅读时因为是旁观者，一定会觉得他们好笑，从而在轻松的气氛中理解故事的发展进程。

哇！会面的结果真是令人有些失望，书信中的印象明明不是这样的埃当满怀期盼，终于可以一睹真面目时，才发现事实和想象差了一大截。这是一个有趣又常会发生的事情。其实呢，“人生不如意事十常八九”，生活中经常会有许多的遗憾和委屈。正因为如此我们常常很努力地去避免这样的事情发生，让一切都如意顺心。结果期望越高往往失望越大，以至迷失了对事物本质的认识，我们就越来越不快乐了。试问朋友的真正意义是什么？不就是无邪的友谊分享吗，至于表面的东西也就不值得计较了。

因为人生很少能够真正地心想事成，所以我们会寄望于故事最后的美好结局，至少希望它是正面的、光明的。笔者很欣赏本书的结局。当玲玲和瓜瓜确信彼此的真正友谊存在时，决定继续山丘上的约会，再为彼此美好的友谊努力下去。真好，友谊可以不用猜疑和负担，只要彼此接纳和分享，或许这正是现代人该好好想想的课题。

我读了《圆明园的毁灭》后，我觉得那些强盗十分可恶!

1860年英法联军抢了圆明园的宝物，后来把圆明园给烧了。后来八国联军又来抢圆明园的文物。这证明了清朝的落后和腐败。在清朝只有皇宫里的人才能过好日子，百姓全部要过那种要饭的日子。

在坏人来的时候，皇帝跑了，守园士兵只好眼睁睁的看着文物被人抢走。许多人都自杀了。落后就要挨打，所以，我们要强大起来。只有这样才不会被人欺负。

我们不可以忘了圆明园的事，圆明园许多宝物都流失到了海外，中国人花了几千万买回了被掠夺的东西，让我们后人越想越气愤，这也说明国家那时候弱小不发达，才会这样，如果国家强大我们也不会被欺负，也不会再花冤枉钱买回属于自己的东西。

如今的圆明园已被侵略者掠去了昔日的辉煌，想到这些我感到无比的愤怒和无限的惋惜。

Pride and Prejudice is a chefdoeuvre. But my first impression of this story was from screen.

Its long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I dont remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. Its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didnt think shes beautiful. But shes smart. However, I didnt pay much attention to the plot. I thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I havent read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.

In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find where s the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. Im a prejudiced person so I cant find wheres wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time. I like it so just like it, if not so just not. Im a person thinking by heart not by brain. What is worse, I actually didnt think its wrong. I thought everyone is all like that.Everyone has his special way to cognize the world. So its individuality, not prejudice. But I think something is wrong. Though everyone can judge in the way he likes, he cant ignore other ones. You can like what you like and hate what you hate, but you should be objective when you meet external world. I think it means that you should consider things roundly, not just partial. Individuality is different from prejudice. What is it? I need to think more.

起初读了《傲慢与偏见》是为了消除人们对我的偏见，尤其是剩女们对我的偏见。

昔日的堂堂清华博士后怎样做起剩女的文章？沦落到这地步？鄙视之意溢于言表。

以往我从事水资源项目的时候也有不少人疑惑，为什么不为诺贝尔努力，做没有技术含量的水？我当时回答是解决我国水资源问题能给国家和社会带来多大的效益？我就算获得诺贝尔奖能够创造这么大的效益？

知识的价值在于它能够给社会带来多大的益处，而不在于荣誉、科技水平等，虽然也有这种因素，但毕竟不是核心的价值。那么给国家带来1-2万亿直接经济价值的水问题的解决应当远远超过获得诺贝尔奖的价值了！如果研究间接价值恐怕怎样也有5-6万亿吧。所以，我当时就能够义无反顾的执着地追求。

对剩女的问题而言，虽然时代的提高和社会的发展，也许妇女的婚恋早已经不是唯一的生活目的。可是在任何社会，尤其在此刻的我国，婚恋仍然是大多数女人的生活最主要的部分，甚至是全部。最少是生活不可或缺的重要部分。如果在很多方面很出色的女孩因为各种原因一时嫁不出去甚至终身嫁不出去，那么能够肯定的说耽误她的终身。如果我能够帮忙找到意中人，过着美满的婚恋生活，那么在某种程度上说挽救了她的一生。因为婚恋问题的解决不仅仅能够使她享受天伦之乐，也能够帮忙她在事业上更有信心。如果我解决一群人甚至一个群体的问题，那么这一事情的社会价值将是不可估量的。

当然，我相信绝大多数剩女是最终不会选择嫁不出去甚至终身嫁不出去的！那么在大多数剩女认识到婚恋在她人生中的价值的一天，客观的经济效益也是能够预期的。这样经过产生巨大的社会效益的同时不仅仅能够挽救我，也许还能够挽救我的事业。

在《傲慢与偏见》文中，我没有想到自我也受到很好的教育，原先我自我的傲慢也是沟通的主要障碍之一。虽然我也是时常告诫自我尽量避免无谓的错误，消除不该有的误解和损失，可是毕竟江山易改本性难移呀！最要命的是我自我有足够的理由并且确信我的观点的时候就是很难做到给人不“傲慢”的印象。我只好更努力学会倾听的艺术消减不良后果了。
