Last but not least, the seats are limited, which disturbed me very much. I had to go to the library line up very early just for seat. But the desks and chairs are big enough, which gave me much space to think and study and reduced the impact between students. The desks and chairs are tidy and comfortable. All in all, I like our library very much.

I took part in the student union when I was a freshman. I made many friends in union. I exchanged my idea with others. I enhanced my ability to communicate with others, but I fed up with some students in union because I don’t like their character; I took part in many activities in union, which enhanced my practice skills and accumulated a lot of social experience, but it occasionally made me embarrassed in activities; It took me a lot of time in union, which influenced my study. But at the same time, I eiched my college life and made full use of my spare time. All in all, I think it is worthy to join in the union.

I missed my dormitory and my room-mates. As the fast development of other countries volleyball career, the China National Womens Volleyball Team had lost parts of their advantages for a period. In early 1995, Lang Ping, the former core player of the "Penta Crown" team, became the head coach of the Chinese National Team. Though its very hard to train these young players in such a short time, she made it. The China National Womens Volleyball Team won the bronze medals at the 7th World Cups at the end of 1995. Then they won the silver medals at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996, and the gold medals at the 13th Asian Games in 1998. The China National Womens Volleyball Team became the No.1 in Asian again. Whats more, they made a greater miracle at the Athens Olympic Games in 2004. These young girls defeated the rival in a very disadvantaged situation and won the gold medals finally, which were the bestaffirmation for their previous hard work.

Along with Reform and Opening up Policys carrying on and the Spirit of the National Womens Volleyball Team, volleyball had spread in all parts of China. You can find people playing volleyball everywhere, not only in the residential areas and the countryside, but also in schools and factories. Finally, to avoid some difficulties in college life, students need to make some concrete preparations before their entering college. They need to know the basic information of the college where they are going to enter, such as the traffic and the routine around it. They also need to know the concrete requirement of their majors and even begin to learn the basic knowledge of their majors so that they will not feel confused at the beginning. Another point need to be mentioned is that learning English should not be stopped even though in holiday.

最后，为了避免一些困难，在进入大学之前还需要做一些具体的准备。他们需要了解他们即将进入的大学的基本概况，比如周边的交通和路线。他们还要了解专业的具体要求，甚至要开始学习专业的基本知识，这样他们才不至于在开始时感到迷茫。另外需要提醒的一点是，即使是在假期，英语学习也不应该停止。

My Views on Environmetal Protection

Nowadays, the world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Recently,haze weather has become a usual phenomenon here in large part of China. People are forced to wear the mask to avoid breathing poisonous air. Some people think it is impossible to solve the problem,however,from my opinion,if we find out the reason and take effective measures the environment can be better.

If we trace the cause for haze weather,the main points are as follows,first,our countrys air quality standards are rather lax and evaluation factors are limited,so you will see that current air appraisal system has defects. Second,some people just go for economic interests instead of turning out products according to relevant law and regulations. They tend to use obsolete equipment in which they are more likely to emit a great deal of wasted air. Third,across our society,the awareness of protecting the environment has not built up so that people havent formed a habit of using green product and saving energy as much as possible. If we dont take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation.

Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve the environment. In my opinion, to protect the environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, people should be educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the policy of population into practice, because more people mean more pollution. Finally,laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforce strictly just as our government has been doing. To sum up,if we work together to take out such measures,our environment will get better and better and haze weather will vanish completely.
