我们找了个干净点的地方，开始捉鱼，妈妈说她在行，拿着小黄桶开始捉鱼，她将事先准备的饵料放进桶里，又在外面套上一个塑料袋，露出一点缝来，将桶放进一片浅些的水面，然后她就坐下来等着，等到她感觉时机到的时候，迅速将桶提出水面――一个鱼也没有。我看着妈妈的方法有问题，就用本来是装鱼的透明小桶来自己捉鱼。

我问妈妈要了些饵料，又要了些绳子，将绳子捆住桶的提手，往桶里放了些饵料，就开始放入水里，我把桶的口朝里，在水面就可以看到桶内。我把绳放在地上，到一边玩去了，等我回来时，发现我的桶的四周围满了小鱼，桶内也有许多鱼在翻腾，我果断提出水桶，小桶装着水，惯性大，我提着桶在空中摆了一个来回，才将它安稳的放到地上。我从桶的侧面看发现了５、６条４寸左右的鱼，连忙去吧妈妈叫来，她的小桶至今还是没捉到一只鱼呢，我们倒出了一些水，找到６条小鱼，妈妈找到原因，是她的桶不透明，所以捉不到鱼。。。于是她把小黄桶用来装鱼，和我一起用透明的桶捕鱼。第一天玩了３个多小时，捉了大约５０条鱼。

第二天我们买了一个渔网，妈妈用渔网，我依然坚持我自制的小桶，结果妈妈的网子没捉到一条鱼，因为那个渔网是用来捉深水的鱼的，所以妈妈开始改装渔网，最后只钓到几只鱼，我依然是战绩辉煌。到了第三天，妈妈把改装好的渔网带来后，和我比赛，她把渔网的上面一层减去了，只要鱼到网子上方就能把鱼捞上来，我的小桶没变，饵料是吃剩的排骨骨头。开始时，我的桶旁的鱼很少，仿佛都认识了我的小桶，妈妈的网子旁的鱼也很少，可能是饵料的关系，那么就是条件相同了，我相信自己绝对不可能输。到了最后，妈妈一网捞起来了二十多条，全是小不点，好像是一群鱼在网子上方经过，这下我不得不服输了。

这天晚上，我们考虑怎么处死这些鱼，“反正我们又养不活，干脆吃了吧。”妈妈提议。但是这么小的鱼不好吃啊，我决定要用沸水烫死他们，或者在它们的水里放进洗洁精、沐浴液、洗发膏……最后，我们一致定将这些鱼放进小区的池塘里，死还是活要看它们的造化了。
