I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumass last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. Tourism in China

Recent years have seen a tendency in China that tourism is growing faster. According to a recent survey made by some experts, about 47% urban residents travel regularly, and 28% rural residents also make their tour across the country. The survey also shows that more people are interested in tourism, and will join the army in the future.

Facing this tendency, we can’t help exploring some underlying factors that are responsible. In the very first place, with the policy of reform and opening up, Chinese people’s living standard has been greatly improved, and therefore, most of them can afford to travel around. What’s more, it is believed that people now take a more positive attitude to tourism, and regard it as a life style. In addition, tourism facilities are becoming better and better. For example, transportation develops fast, and many scenic spots are available now.

最近几年，在中国的趋势，旅游业增长较快。根据最近的一项调查显示一些专家认为，约47%城镇居民定期作出旅行，28%的农村居民，也使他们的全国巡演。该调查还显示，更多的人在旅游有兴趣，并会在将来加入。

面对这一趋势，我们不能不说是负责任的开发一些潜在因素。在第一个地方，随着改革开放政策，对中国人民的生活水平有了很大提高，因此，他们大多数都不能周游。更重要的是，它相信，人们现在更积极的态度，旅游业，把它作为一种生活方式。此外，旅游设施正在变得越来越好。例如，交通运输发展迅速，许多景点都已经上市。

明天就是教师节，今天下午，我的脑海里浮现出一个问题："该送老师什么礼物呢?"

“鲜花?杯子?还是毛巾呢?”听我爸爸说，送最实用的礼物给老师。我想：“最实用的?毛巾很实用，杯子也很实用。到底哪个更实用呢?”

这个问题我整整想了一下午，到了晚上，我的眼前突然一亮，当然是送毛巾啦!老师的水杯多得是!

第二天，也就是老师们幸福的一天，我来到教室，看见有三四个礼物已经“走”上讲台。语文老师走上讲台，十几个礼物又一起一拥而上，老师就像是明星似的，被围得紧紧的，出都出不去。

老师说了一声：“放到讲台上去吧。”礼物又迅速"跑"到讲桌上，坐了下来。

老师问："蔚昊璋，你送什么?"

“鲜花!”

"你呢?李彦博。"

“水杯!”

"你呢?胡鑫宇。"

“毛巾!”

老师问了三个同学，他们送的不一样，老师真牛!随便问了三个同学，竟然送的都不一样。

到了下午，我来到学校楼梯口，一个同学问我：“范蓉蓉，你见刘梓鑫来了吗?”我说：“没有。”我来到走廊，又一个同学问我：“刘梓鑫来了吗?”我说：“没有。”我想：“刘梓鑫是我们班班长，哦，对了，怪不得有几个同学问我，他来了没有。”这时我才想起来，前天上午，我们捐钱，要为老师们买一个蛋糕，我们把钱都捐给了刘梓鑫、吴尚蓉几个人。有的人捐一元，有的人捐二元，也有人，捐五元、十元、十五元……

来到教室，讲桌上简直成了饭桌，教室简直成了家。

数学老师来了，看到讲桌上的蛋糕，说：“太谢谢你们了，以后再不要这样做了，既然你们已经买来了，那就切开把它吃了吧!”蛋糕一个大一个小，我们四个人围成一圈，组成一组，一组一盘。小的那块蛋糕，老师说是要给办公室老师吃，大的那块我们全班人共同分享，我们吃在嘴里，甜在心里。不一会儿，吃蛋糕活动就结束了，接着老师给我们上课，可是我依然很难忘记吃蛋糕这件事。

同学们在教师节这天举行的此次活动，不仅表现了他们懂得孝敬老师，而且还进一步拉近了师生之间的距离。我希望我们班以后多多搞这样的活动。

Nowadays, divorce rate has been rising sharply in China, because most

people think that its better to get divorced than stick to a bad marriage. But

for those couples who have children, they had better think over before getting

divorced. Parents divorce may have some negative effects on their children.

Firstly, the love of father is different from the love of mother. Children need

both of the love. Without each of the love, they may not grow up healthily.

Secondly, in order to raise the family, the single parents have to work harder,

so that they may have less time to accompany with their children. The children

may feel neglected, which may cause mental problems. Besides, if the single

parents get married again, the children may get hurt by calling another person

father or mother. If they cant get along well with each other, the situation

will become even worse. Thus, for the sake of their children, parents are not

supposed to get divorced in a rush. They should think twice.

Confidence is essential for everyone. Onlyestablishing confidence can we accomplish our goal. Nevertheless, many peopleespecially teenagers are lack of confidence. What a serious problem! How todevelop confidence?

市一中的老师，有着工作的激情和创业的豪情。这是一种氛围，是个大熔炉。九年前踏进这座校园，我就感到了作为市一中人的使命和压力。也是在它的鞭策下，九年来我们取得了一个又一个的进步。虽是点滴，但从没止步!市一中的领导，有着栽培教师的长远目光。今年暑假，在学校资金紧缺的情况下，学校分7个批次，投入近30万元，派高三全体及高一高二部分教师到北京、上海、山西、山东、江苏、宁夏等全国各地参加各种教育业务培训，派出部分教师和学生赴英国参加夏令营，使我们感受了先进的教育教学理念和独特的异国文化，开阔了眼界，拓宽了教育教学思维，也必将激发我们探索教学新方法的热情。

二、我自豪的认为市一中是学生成才的宝地

有目共睹，我校在过去的几年里取得了骄人高考成绩，建校时间最短，在全市考取清华北大状元最多。我们有理由自豪，众所周知，由于多方面的原因，我们的生源基地有限，生源基础并不很好。但为什么能取得如此骄人的成绩呢?归结起来，这得益于学校的正确领导和师生的奋力拼搏。过去的几年，学校领导和全体师生拧成一股绳，齐心协力，战胜重重困难，创造了一个又一个辉煌。我切身体会到了领导集体智慧的成就，目睹了老师们孜孜不倦的努力。而这奋斗，已经成为了市一中人的一种习惯。我可以负责的说，多年的磨砺成长，我校绝大部分老师，已经是有过多年高三教育教学经验的教师，已经足以为大家的高考胜利保驾护航!市一中的老师也正在为学生的全面成长不断探索。

三、我们更加感受到教师职业的神圣、光荣与伟大
