数学课代表回来了，可老谭并没有来，我聚精会神地听着数学课代表给我们带来的“喜讯“：“谭老师，不来了!”

“耶!”全班都欢呼起来，转眼间压抑沉重的教室变成了热闹喜庆的广场。原本每一个人都是垂头丧气的，听到这个喜讯之后，头顶上的乌云散开了，满心欢喜，包括我在内。

坐在窗边的我为了验证消息的准确性，像小偷一般的向窗外伸出脑袋东张西望了一番，天哪，“危险指数五颗星”——老谭竟出现在我的视野，径直地朝教室走来。我的心又一次掉进了冰窖似的，连脸上的笑容也逐渐凝固了，只得在心里暗自抚慰：是福不是祸，是祸躲不过，谁怕谁?

老谭已经走进教室，手持“利器”，威风凛凛，满面春风。伴随着同学们哀声叹气发牢骚的声音，开始“上刑”了。“啪!”“啪!”“啪!”……一连串刺耳又虐心的声音在我的耳边回荡，眼看着老谭离我越来越近，只能无奈地感叹：长痛不如短痛，只有一个字“忍”!我毅然伸出手掌，紧闭双眼，重重的一板落下后，我忍不住“啊!”地一声，这简直是木棍生花呀!被打中的地方“外红内白”，真可谓鬼斧神工啊!看着老谭脸上盛开着的一朵又一朵灿烂的鲜花，与那毫不留情的木棍，以及那独具匠心的技艺，绝了!不得不感叹：老谭太会“折磨”人了……

计算题已俨然成了我的死穴，似乎一击致命。哎，这一团难以解开的乱麻计算题，还真是我烦恼指数翻倍增涨的罪魁祸首啊!

My mother is a woman of the old school. She is too conservative to keep up

with the times. However, she is goodnatured and treats others sincerely. For

this reason, all her neighbors are only too glad (pleased) to make friends with

her.

They consider her a model woman.She is a typical housewife. She keeps the

(her) house neat and clean and looks after us with extreme care . She often says

to us, “You cannot study too hard.”

Like any other English learner, I met a lot of difficulties in learning

English.

First, I found it difficult to understand what I read because most English

words have more than one meaning. Besides, I found it difficult to write in

idiomatic English or put Chinese into idiomatic English. Finally, I couldnt

express in English orally because I had no opportunity to communicate with

native English speakers. Although I often read aloud, this didnt prove to be an

effective way to improve my spoken English.

But I didnt lose heart in removing these obstacles. I tackled English

vocabulary in two ways. First,I tried to understand and memorize the specific

meaning of a word that appears in the context. Second, I enlarge my vocabulary

by learning the dictionary by heart. To overcome Chinese English, I tried to

think in English directly. Although I still had no opportunity to communicate

with native speakers, I improved spoken English by listening to the English

broadcast and writing English composition. This expedient turned out to be

effhctive.

如果你问，在这千姿百态的世界里，最值得你守护的是什么?也许有人会说是金钱，有人说是权力，而我却觉得是生命。如果连生命都没有了，再多的金钱和权力，又有什么用呢?

生命是那么宝贵，那么美好，无论是让一颗种子长成参天大树，还是让一个婴儿长大成人，都需要百般努力，才能去适应大自然的优胜劣汰。《孝经》中记载：“身体发肤，受之父母，不敢毁伤，孝之始也”。如果我们践踏来之不易的生命，岂不是连努力生长的植物，向往凌空翱翔的鸟儿都不如……

记得一个阳光明媚的午后，我正观赏着一盆漂亮的多肉植物——宝石花。看着那短短的茎上，侧枝匍匐的淡绿色叶片萌萌的，我情不自禁地伸手一碰，只听得一声微弱的“咯吱”，叶片就在叶柄处被折断了。我担心被视肉肉为宝贝的妈妈骂，趁妈妈不注意，偷偷地把叶子插进了泥土里。过了几天，我在给多肉浇水的时候，惊喜地看到那片嫩叶的叶柄处竟然己长出了白白的根须，一个小小的芽儿探出了小脑袋。这新的芽儿在叶子的滋润下，依靠水、空气和阳光，长得那么生气勃勃，翠绿欲滴，仿佛正张着小嘴巴向我要水喝呢!

正当我为植物的顽强生命赞叹时，一只小巧玲珑的鸟儿落在了我家阳台上，被眼急手快的奶奶捉住了，一个漂亮的笼子成了它的天地。我和弟弟兴高采烈地忙碌起来，一会喂它洁白如雪的米粒，一会儿碰碰它圆圆的灰色小脑袋，一会儿又和它拉起家常。幼小的鸟儿可经不起我们这一番折磨，它挣扎着企图跑出这可怕的笼子，可是无论怎样挣扎都无济于事。当夜深人静的时候，鸟儿仍然在黑夜中不停叫唤，一次又一次努力张开翅膀，想要飞出这关住了它自由的牢笼。无论失败了多少次，它都不曾放弃，我被它这种坚持不懈的精神所感动，情不自禁的打开了鸟笼，目送着它飞向远方的家。是什么让它如此挣扎，这是它对生命的渴望，对生活的执着，还有对生命的信念!

不只是植物和动物珍爱生命，人们更是不甘示弱。我们身边有许许多多值得我们学习的人。比如说，《假如给我三天光明》的作者——海伦·凯勒，无人不知无人不晓的大作家杏林子等，他们都是残疾人，可他们却身残志不残，反而更加重视自己的生命了。还有那美丽的白衣天使，在热爱着的工作岗位上，拯救着一个个鲜活的生命。我们也要像他们那样珍惜生命，用对生命的信念让自己活得更加精彩。

我们的生命只有一次，让生命的信念在心中茁壮成长，用良好的心态，笑迎变幻莫测的生活，描绘出值得我们自豪的人生画卷。

自律，是什么?我认为，自律就是严于律己，就是自我规范，自我约束。如果做到自律，那么就能向成功迈进一大步。可是说起来容易，做起来难，譬如——我。

唉，这次语文考试我排名第十一，一个令我难以言述的数字，我怎么会…怎么可能…为什么不能再进几名呢?看到试卷的那一刻，我的心中如一团乱麻，剪不断，理还乱。老师由最高分依次报到最低分，听着那刺骨的.分数，心也慢慢凉了个彻底，如一盆凉水，将我从头淋到脚。考完那刻的轻松，快乐，得意顿时一抹而去。放学回到家中，我怀着忐忑不安的心情把试卷交给了妈妈：“妈妈，那个…试卷签…签下字…”妈妈看到分数，显然有些恼怒，沉默不语。空气中氤氲着淡淡的压抑，冰冷的空气如一张大网，牢牢地罩住了我，密不透风。“妈妈…”我张了张口，想要缓解这紧张的气氛“其实…我只是有些粗心，那个…如，如果细心一点，就能考好了。”我结结巴巴，极力为自己辩解，妈妈听了，用力地点了点试卷：“又是粗心，你哪一次不是因为粗心?粗心不是借口，考不好的原因是你态度根本不端正……”我听着妈妈暴风雨般的数落，心情一落千丈。这次的第一名是我的好朋友小邵，她做起事来都是一丝不苟。下课，每当我去找她玩时，她总是埋头写作业，周围的喧闹嘈杂也影响不了她。因此，我总对她疑惑不已，认为她是个不懂得适度玩乐的人。如今才知道她是为自己制定好学习计划，懂得先做什么，后做什么，什么是现在该做的，什么不该做，有主次有层次地认真完成自己的学习任务后才放松自己。而我呢?有时一件事还没做完，又急切地想去做别的，只是觉得新鲜，那阵劲儿一过，便又把事情撂下了。长期以来，我便养成了一个坏习惯，做事总是拖拖拉拉，不爽快，认为什么都可以留到明天再去做，可是“明日复明日，明日何其多?我生待明日，万事成蹉跎。”这种拖沓的坏习惯直接导致了我这次考试的失败。

“自律”表现在自爱，自省，自控。好的成绩来源于一个好的学习习惯，更源于懂得自我约束，有错误或者缺点并不可怕，可怕的是无视它，不去改正它。反省是一面镜子，它能将我们的错误清清楚楚地照出来，使我们有改正的机会，懂得自律的人才可拥有把握成功的可能。
