莱州市旧称掖县，是一座美丽的海滨城市，国家级卫生城、中国长寿之乡，2010中国十大最具幸福感城市，且不说它拥有的“中国月季之乡”的美誉，也不提“北方石都、黄金之都”的称号，单看小城街角所处可见的街心公园，就会让你流连往返。掖县公园就是其中新建的比较有代表性的之一。

掖县公园位于市区西北角，投资1300万，占地240亩。几百米外我和妈妈就见到有一座高15米巨型的“月季飘香”雕塑，通体由黄铜鎏金铸造，月季花线条简洁，花冠饱满，花萼紧凑，雍容华贵，下方设计黑金沙花岗岩凤凰浮雕底座，四面环绕镜面水。这是因为月季花是莱州市的市花，是我国北方最大的月季花生产基地，所以以月季花作为掖县公园的标志。

雕塑四周便是由太湖石线泉景墙包绕的三层运动区。华灯初上，数千人在此游玩徜徉，锣鼓喧天，音乐四起，彩灯四射，喷泉高挑，舞蹈队、秧歌队、街舞、慢走、轮滑、陀螺、极限车活动应有尽有，光西南角的一个舞蹈队就有千人之众，舞者英姿飒爽，随着流行音乐舞步整齐划一，气势恢宏。妈妈还忍不住上前跟着队伍欢快的跳起来!

我们沿着运动区往东走，见到一座数十米高的石牌坊，名叫状元门，因为公园东侧就是状元辈出的莱州一中，为了占占神奇，我特意摇头晃脑从状元门阔步走过。过了状元门往北走，依着山势，踩着鹅卵石铺就的小路，在一路五彩斑斓的彩灯指引下，我们走进了名人大道。大道两边是错落在草坪之中的各个历史时期莱州名人的铜雕塑，既有东汉时期“左伯纸”的发明者左伯，又有宋代名相吕蒙正，更有吕剧《姊妹易嫁》中的状元郎毛纪，雕塑各个神采飞扬意气风发，加上详尽的诗文解说，令人立刻品味到历史的厚重与景仰。

夜色已晚，公园深处的景物大多朦胧，但仍看得我们意犹未尽，待到下次白天再来观看，我想那更会是一番迷人景象。

我爱这迷人的掖县公园，更爱国泰民安的大好河山。

一大清早，我们便到了学校，在学校里，同学们有的出黑板报、画画;有的做贺卡、开主题班会;还有的通过日记、诗歌等形式纷纷表达对祖国妈妈的爱。国庆长假，同学们跟爸爸妈妈一起走出家门，游览名胜古迹，领略祖国的伟大文化。商店的门口悬挂着气球和彩旗，有红的、有黄的、有绿的……洋溢着喜庆的气氛。里面人声鼎沸，原来都在打折、开展系列促销活动。街上人山人海，就连坐车买票也要排着长长的队伍，打的也要等好长时间。风景区的游人有如长龙，不计其数，男女老少尽在其中，人们都趁着节日出来游玩。停车场几乎没有空位子，饭店，宾馆的收入一定十分可观。

远方北京的叔叔打来电话告诉我们，北京国庆热闹非凡。我很想去北京，看看天安门，看看我们伟大首都的面貌，我和叔叔已经约好明年暑假一起同畅游北京。

国庆节是一个快乐的节日，人民的生活水平真的提高得很快。我们在祖国妈妈的怀抱中，幸福、快乐地成长，愿祖国妈妈永远美丽、永远繁荣，愿祖国一年比一年兴旺、发达!

National day is coming，and we can have a seven-day.my family are going to hainan.its a good seaside city.we are staying there for a week. we are going to the beach and going swimming in the sea.were visiting tianya haijiao，wanquan river and many other beautiful places.i think well have a good time there.

National Day is coming,in order to spend it meaningfully,I have made a plan for it.Ill have a 8-day holiday for the Nation Day,so first of all,for the first two days,I would like to stay at home to have a good rest,getting enough sleep.For I am very tired due to the heavy study.Then after two days rest,Im going to take a trip to Shanghai with a couple of my classmates.Shanghai is a very beautiful city with many places of interest.That will take me four days.Finally,returning from Shanghai,I will do my homework at home and have some exercises.Thats all.
