However, there are still many people who favor studying at home. They argue that studying abroad is too expensive and doesnt pay. They also point out that there are no language and cultural barriers if they study at home.

Both opinions are acceptable in some sense. If students have the chance and financial resources, they should seize the opportunity to study abroad and broaden their eyes. On the other hand, if conditions dont permit, they can pursue their studies in top universities at home. What counts is not the place where you study, but the desire to learn.

The Hero in My Heart

As we know, most people have heroes in their hearts. For me， Liu Xiang is

the hero in my heart. He is a famous Chinese sportsman.

Liu Xiang is good at running. In 2004， he won his first Olympic gold medal

in the men，s 110m hurdles event in Athens. Then, he set a world record in the

same event in Lausanne.Besides training and taking part in competitions, Liu

Xiang also likes singing and he sings well.

With his hard work, he is winning competitions one after another. This

encourages me to study harder from now on.

Now many students become crazy about collecting cards of heroes of the Three Kingdoms in my school. After one gets a card, he will share it with his friends. Being addicted to it, many students have changed a lot.

Some students even play the cards in class so that they have fallen behind in their study. The card is included as a gift in the bag of some food which costs 1.5 yuan. Therefore, to get these cards, many students try their best to get money, even steal money. Sometimes they would rather not eat breakfast than give up buying the food with that card.

It is not long before they collect a lot of cards. Without good care the cards can be stolen easily. Thus, many students fight for the cards, which damage their friendship.

Today is Qingming Festival. Its a traditional Chinese Tomb Sweeping Festival. Dad drives grandma, mom, my brother and I to Xianyou home together. My hometown is on a big mountain near Xianyou County town. After 1 hours of winding roads, we finally arrived at the destination -- my familiar hometown in dreams.

As soon as we got off the train, we could smell a fresh country smell, surrounded by green hills, and the whole countryside was so peaceful. We walked a few minutes to see an old house covered with mud, a place where Grandpa, grandma and Dad had lived before, and only Granny and grandfather lived there. As soon as I entered the door, I saw grandpa and grandma. They were elderly people. They smiled when they saw our arrival. After greeting grandpa and grandma, we are going to sweep grandpas grave. We climbed the hillside behind the house. Sunny, bright spring days, both sides began to busy road. The small green grass shows the small head, the busy ant in the spring transportation, the spring bamboo shoots also sneak out the small head, the mountain path is really interesting, while the chicken, the duck and us play, and the little sheep and the puppy race us in a moment. The distant green wheat fields and golden rape flowers add a bright color to the hometown of spring. After a while, we came to Grandpas tomb.
