There is no doubt that human activity has an effect on the planet. We see the evidence of mankind’s endeavors all around us. Overall, it seems that human activity harms the Earth more than it benefits it.

For example, the transportation systems that benefit mankind also create pollution and use up valuable energy resources. While we cannot do without transportation these days, we cannot ignore the fact that it has an adverse effect on the planet. Furthermore, those advances that benefit people do not benefit al the life on Earth. Deforestation endangers many animals, and mankind’s great thirst for water and other resources leads to the extinction of many plant forms. It was man that made the water unfit to drink in the first place. Finally, the damage that human activity causes will eventually have a negative effect on people. 保护环境的大事，并不是所有人都可以知道，可以去做的，但是，身边的种种小事，却是触手可及的，是任何人都可以去做的。如果只有一个人来保护环境的话，那么这种杯水车薪力量是远远不够的，我们必须要齐心协力，共同来保护地球的环境，那样地球才能恢复原来的面貌。我希望每个人都能行动起来，保护环境，从小事做起，比如：看到垃圾拣起来、不乱扔白色塑料袋、种植小树……如果人人都能保护环境，那么我们的祖国将会变的更美丽，空气更清新。

随着时代的不断进步，科技的飞速发展，名“共享”的发明渐渐地步入我们的生活，它们一点点地在潜移默化中改变着人类社会的生存理念和生活方式。人类得以更好的将“公共、便利、快捷”这些观念通过“共享”引入到新新人类的时代中去。而共享时代则充斥着共享资源。

共享资源分布广泛分布，现在大街小巷随处可见共享单车的身影，甚至还有人突发奇想，在公交站旁设立了“共享睡舱”。无疑，这些发明也极度考验人们对公共事物和资源的保护能力。比如共享单车，是为了实现“最后一公里”的难题而发明，可是却又不少人将其占为己有或是进行破坏，改装。因此，不得不说这共享资源的出现使得社会上的一些不良现象出现。因而希望国家方面能加以整治，不要让这些不考虑公共利益的人影响到社会新气象。

此外，共享资源方便快捷。依旧以共享单车为例，只需拿出手机轻轻一扫，这辆共享单车就会在短暂的时间内变成你的私有物。然后就可以骑着它“走南闯北”了。这一点深受公司白领的喜爱。上下班坐公交车到站，离公司还有距离，就可以骑上共享单车出发，并且大多不需要付费，到达目的地之后可以就地停车，算是使用完毕了。但坏处就是在于就地停车所占用了巨大的空间，人行道上被堵塞，甚至于非机动车道以及许多大型场所的门口，这一点也是造成了巨大的交通不便。因此希望有关部门能针对停放的问题进行规划和管理，使其能更好地被使用。

当然，除了上文提及的共享单车，共享资源还包括共享书店、共享马扎、共享睡舱。共享资源大大地便利化了人们的生活，也因为它们与人们的生活紧密相连，人们的观点以及对事物的观察方式也变得不同。不仅如此，共享资源更是人类社会文明进步巨大的最好证明。我们所关注到的领域更多地包含进了精神文化。这也是因为人类文明的发展，我们经历了旧石器时代、新石器时代、青铜时代，数千年的演变才走到今天这一步，用灵巧的双手和聪明的大脑创造出了这个全新的科技时代。其名为——共享时代。

而共享时代，则是人类走向更高一级的时代所经历的一步。它未必是必经历不可的，但它却一定是人类发展史上极具时代色彩的一笔。我们活在这个时代，因而我们为自己能经历这个时代的变迁而骄傲。这是我们的时代。

我看着你出现，到你繁盛，即使不知道最终你会衰败还是变得更加繁荣，我也因为你的存在而活的更好，更真。

Lily and I are very interested in science, so we decided to visit the Science Museum today. It is not too far from our homes.It is about two kilometers, so we thought it was better to go there by bike.

丽丽和我都喜欢科学，所以我们决定今天去科技馆参观。它离我们家并不远，大约有两公里的路程。我们觉得还是骑车比较方便。

At eight we set off. It was very nice and sunny. When we got to the gate, there were many people waiting there. We met some of my classmates and teachers. There we saw a lot of interesting things and equipment. We could touch them and even operate something. We thought we had learned a lot and were more interested in science.

今天天气非常好，早上八点我们就出发了。当我们到达科技馆的门口时，已经有许多人在那里等了。我们还碰上了一些同学和老师。在科技馆里我们看到了许多有趣的东西和装置。我们可以摸它们，甚至还可以动手操作呢。我们感到我们学到了许多知识，同时对科学的兴趣更浓厚了。

At half past eleven we had to leave for home. How happy we were today!

21st century is the century of technology. Nowadays, technology is

everywhere around us. The development of technology has a significant affact

toward the society. Several technologies that we usually use are the internet,

computer, and cellphone. These new technologies make our life much easier and

better.

First, the development of computer changes our life. Decades ago, people

needed to do lots of complex calculation on hand because they did not have

computer, and more obvious, they did not have the software for calculation. As

the result of that, people spent hours on the equations that a computer can

solve in just a minute. Since the development of computer, people are able to

use some kind of software to compute lots of complex functions and mathematical

calculation. Computer becomes the most helpful equipment for the sciencists

because they can use their time more efficiently.

Also, internet is another useful tool for us today. The development of

internet brings a great impact toward the society. Instead of going to library

and fliping all the books to figure out some information, we can just simply use

a mouse and click on the website to do research. The internet leads us to a

place where we can find unlimited information and resources. It makes our life

much easier and better.

The last technology is cellphone. Nowadays, many people have a cellphone.

But it just appears on the market for about 10 years. It is very convenience to

the users because we can talk to anyone we want with a phone as small as a

wallet. Also, we can communicate with others by making a phone call instead of

sending letters. It is very fast and useful way to communicate.

In conclusion, I believe the development of technology brings significant

impact to our life. It is very helpful to us and I believe technology will keep

improving in future.

今天爸爸带我去参观科技馆。我很喜欢发明创造，我知道科学技术是人类进步的最大推动力。进入科技馆后，迎面采了一位讲解员给我们做讲解。我仔细听着他解释这些高科技产品的由采。那天，我看到了很多以前从没看到过的飞机模型、卫星模型等等。真是大开眼界的一天。

Today father took me to the Science and Technology Center. I am fond of invention very much. I know that science and technology is the greatest driving force of human progress. When we entered the Center, there came an interpreter who explained to us the process of those inventions. I saw many plane and satellite models that I have never seen before. Its really an eye-opening day to me.

The development of modern technology has made peoples life more complex, so people should choose to have a simple and easy life without using technology. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The advancement of modern technology is making peoples life more comfortable and at the same time less human. To those who enjoy the benefits of technology, there is no better time to be alive than now, but to others life has been increasingly complex and stressful. The issue is whether such new technological machines as computers and the Internet would be our servants forever or eventually could become our masters.

The development of science and technology makes our life more comfortable and convenient. However, scientists have created many problems, which are not easy to be resolved, such as air pollution, the deterioration of environment and the scarcity of natural resources, to which we must some solutions.

Modern science and technology render people many advantages. Modern telecommunication shortens the distance between people and makes communication much easier. Internet is widely used now not only for collection of abundant information but also for correspondence. Email, the most effective communication device now, is becoming very popular. Modern transportation, such as airplanes and high-speed trains make our journey smooth and fast. With the help of modern transportation, people can go everywhere they prefer to. The journey to outer space and other planets is not a dream any more. Rockets and space shuttles can help us realize the dream of space travel.

Modern medicine prolongs peoples life and relieves patients of sufferings from many diseases. Cancer and AIDS are fatal to peoples health. Thanks to the endeavors scientists have made, these diseases become treatable.

However, the process of scientific development also arouses many sever problems to our human beings. Internet, though widely used in modern communication, is easy to be destroyed by computer virus. Outer space exploration has produced much waste in the space. A tiny metal, a screw, for example can destroy a flying man-made satellite. Industrialization is making natural resources become scarce.

Confronted with these problems, scientists are seeking prompt and feasible solutions. The development of science and technology bring about both positive and negative effects to us. We must eliminate the positive effects to the least extent.
