Service dogs almost never leave the side of the people they care for. You will see them workingon buses, trains and other public transport systems. But the busy environment found at anairport can trouble even the best trained working dog.

People with disabilities depend on their dogs. They want the animals to safely guide themthrough security areas. They also need to the dogs to remain calmly on duty on the airplane,even when the flying is not smooth. This takes special training. The Air Hollywood K9 FlightSchool is one place where such help can be found.

The school has a piece of equipment that provides the sights, sounds and even the feel of anairplane in flight. It is called a flight simulator. The simulator was built for filming airplanescenes in movies.

Sandy Alexander lives in Newport Beach, California. He has a disability that requires his two-year-old dog, Doc, to be always at his side. Mr. Alexander took the dog to the flight school toget him ready for plane trips. He says Doc did not like the bumpy part of the flight simulation.

"When that started he was pretty agitated and looked up at me and wasnt sure what wasgoing on, and I think we are going to be prepared the next time it happens."

Dog trainer Mary Segall is with Canine Companions for Independence. It provides dogs forpeople with disabilities. Ms. Segall says successful training is based on a simple rule:preparation.

"Dogs need to be exposed gradually and repetitively to stimulation, to the environment, toloud noises, to sounds and other dogs so that when this experience happens to them on adaily basis, theyre able to act in a way that theyre used to acting and that they dont getexcitable."

Stacy Huckebas nine-month-old dog, Striker, is still in training to be a guide dog.

"I dont fly a lot so I dont know a lot, but, so I dont know the routine myself. So with a dog Iwould have been lost."

Dog owners who attended the training at Air Hollywood K9 Flight School say they now feelmuch more at ease about future flights. Their dogs also seem ready for takeoff.

So be yourself. Dont engage in a personal cover-up of areas that are

unpleasing in your life. When its tough, do it tough. In other words, face

Self-respect and a clear conscience are powerful components of integrity

and are the basis for enriching your relationships with others.

Integrity means you do what you do because its right and not just

fashionable or politically correct. A life of principle, of not succumbing to

the seductive sirens of an easy morality,will always win the day. My

grandparents taught me that.

The Great Wall is famous all over the world, it is one of the most

remarkable symbols of China, it has long history. But as there are more and more

people to visit the famous building, it has been damaged to some degree. In

order to protect the great building, we should not throw away the rubbish and do

Water is a kind of liquid. It has no taste or smell. It is transparent, too. Water is useful and is important to us. Why? For example, we use water to water the plants. Jacques Cousteau decided to tell people how important it was to save the environment under the sea. He started the“ Cousteau Society ” to help protect life in the sea. Now there are over 30000 members all over the world. Since water covers most of the earth, Cousteau knew that we should keep the sea clean. We should not litter the sea, and should clean up the dirty parts. As water is very important to our environment, he encouraged everyone to take part in protecting our lakes, rivers, sea and ocean.

There are still a few people who are not protecting the water now in the world. For example, some factories pour waste things into the rivers, lakes or into the sea near by. The water there has become very dirty and we can’t use them at all. Although there are seventy–five per sent of water in the world, we can only use fresh water, that there is only a little. So we should use little water when we need to use it. For example, I do not use too much water when I am washing my face or having a bath… It is important for us to keep the water clean. You may ask yourself, have I ever poured or thrown dirty things into the water? If your answer is “No”, that means you have already helped to protect the environment. It is our duty to protect the environment. You may ask yourself again, have I ever helped to clean up the water? If your answer is “Yes”, that means that you have already done something useful to improve the water. If we use up all the water, it is difficult for us to get it from anywhere, including the universe. It is terrible to think that people are too thirsty to live! I believe, that if everyone helps to protect the water, the water must be protected. You do not want to “kill” your son or your grandson, do you? So now let us to protect the water! No sooner had the summer vacation begun than I returned to my native town.

就说说前天的事吧。我奶奶出去溜了它一圈，晚上回来，把它的笼门打开，让它进去。它呢，一不小心爪子碰到了门，笼门又关上了。它呢，就在那干着急。……门明明开着，它就是进不去，奶奶在一旁看得哭笑不得。

“呆子”的样子也有点呆。它一对尖尖的耳朵，正常情况下是竖着的，一旦犯了错误你要打他的时候，耳朵就耷拉下来，样子特别可怜，跟个犯错误的小孩一样。它眼睛上长长的睫毛，把眼睛都遮住了，如果不仔细看，你还真看不到它褐色圆圆的小眼睛。它的毛是灰色系的，只有胸口和肚子那一段是白色的，最有趣的是他灰毛的地方肤色是灰的，而白毛的地方肤色则是红色的。

其实，“呆子”也很聪明。比如我考试考得不好，回到家闷闷不乐。它都能看透我的心思。你瞧他那样子：悄悄走到我的身边来，嘴里还叼着一袋小零食来安慰我。它好像在说：“小主人，来，和我一起吃零食吧。考得不好没关系，下次努力！”看到他这样子，我的沮丧一瞬间烟消云散。
