科技发达了，人类的生活水平提高了，可是环境污染越来严重，作为新时代的小学生，我会保护环境献上一份微薄之力，当一名绿色小卫士，爱护地球作文。过年，我回老家连州，去住在农村的姐姐家。一去到，我就嚷嚷着要姐姐带我去树林，树林离姐姐家不远，那里山清水秀，有茂密的树林，美丽的野花。

可是，我去到时，却被眼前的景象惊呆了，到处乌烟瘴气，原本清澈见底的小溪，飘满了白色塑料袋；茂密的被砍得所剩无几，还有许多树受伤了。我忙姐姐是怎么回事，姐姐告诉我，附近开了一个木材厂，不仅把树木砍了，严寒排出许多废气。我提议，让我们来当树林的清洁工，姐姐爽快地答应了。

我们先把水边的一些塑料袋捡了起来；然后，我们要种树苗，这可难倒我了，我还没种过树苗呢！姐姐见我不会，便耐心地教我，先挖一个坑，把树苗放进去，用小石子压住它的根，把土埋上，浇上水，用铲了把土按实，一棵树苗就种好了，我反反复复做了许多次才学会了。接着，我们发现，许多小花被人们经常踩踏，茎弯曲了，我和姐姐把它扶了起来。我们还帮一些受伤的树“疗伤”……一个下午，我和姐姐都汗流浃背，不过我们谁也不后悔，因为我们看见树林变美了。同学们，其实保护环境很简单，只要人人都能不随地乱扔垃圾，不随地吐痰，爱护花草树木，能做到这些，就可以了。

今天我要讲的题目是——爱护公物，净化环境，共建新中和谐校园，踏入新中校园，豪华气派的校门，装饰一新的楼房，洁白净亮的教室，宽敞平坦通道。气派非凡的车棚，漂亮美观的厕所，别致景观的花圃、无不给人的舒心惬意之感受，大家无不为能在这美丽怡人的环境中工作学习而感到无比自豪，感到精神振奋。

同学们，我们每个人在这里求学，都有一个追求，都有一个理想，都有一个志向，如果新民中学是一片沃土的话，我们就要在这里把我们的耕作变成果实。实现我们的追求，如果说新民中学是一支拐杖的话，我们要拄着这支拐杖攀登知识高峰，实现我们的志向，如果说新的中学是一只展翅飞翔鸟的话，那她会承载着我们的希望去实现我们的理想，我们大家要做一个文明的人，做一个高尚的人。

那么作为学校小主人的大家应该怎样保护公物，爱护环境呢？这让我想起一个小故事，我国有一著名的学者在欧洲一个海滨公园的草坪边的椅子上休息时，看见旁边长椅上一个四、五岁的小女孩，走到十多米以外的一个垃圾桶把一张巧克力的包装纸扔了进去，又高高兴兴地走回来，那位学者问小女孩：“你为什么走那么远去扔一张纸呢？女孩认真地说：”“这草地那么美，要是我把废纸扔在上面，它就不美了。”听了这个故事，相信同学们应该有所感触。

回顾一下我们以前是如何保护公物，爱护环境的呢？整洁的校园中时有不尽如意之处，学校洁白的墙壁，却不知是哪位“校园艺术家”硬是要在上面加几个脚印；有些“物理研究者”喜欢在教学楼上用垃圾物来做“自由落体”的实验；还有一些“文学家”、“雕刻家”他们总喜欢在桌椅上刻刻划划，其内容之丰富，真可谓无所不有，还有一些“美容师”，他们上厕所后总是把厕纸丢这丢那……

我们的这些“大家”、“大师”们，你们可曾知道，当你们的这些行为、这些作品诞生的时候，墙壁、门窗、桌椅、水龙头、墙壁开关、花草等它们都在叹息、流泪、哭泣。

在这里我不禁要向那些同学：当你挥拳砸向那些门板的时候，难道你想能成为拳王泰森吗？当你飞脚踹向墙壁等物时，难道你想能成为跆拳道高手吗？当你把桌面墙壁刻划得面目全非时，难道你想能成为画家达芬奇吗？

你有没有想过，不论是有意还是无意，这些行为都对公物造成了损坏，对环境造成了影响，还会增加学校对公物的维修费用。这可是一笔不小的开支。

勿以小而不为，勿以恶小而为之。如果我们图一时之快，逞一时之勇，而去故意毁坏公物，损坏环境，那它损坏的是国家的财产，败低的是你的声誉，破坏的是我们学校的形象。

那么我们如何爱护公物、保护环境，做一个文明的学生呢？

一是强化自觉爱护公物，保护环境的观念，养成爱护公物，保护环境的良好品质，认识到爱护公物、保护环境，是爱国主义，集体主义观念的具体体现，是精神文明的具体体现。从而树立爱护公物，保护环境光荣，损坏公物，破坏环境可耻的观念。

二是各部门各班级强化管理意识，采取措施，健全制度。在学校实行公物保管制度的基础上，各班要成立公物管理小组。班级公物（包括包干区域、公共设施、绿色环境等）要实行岗位责任制，分块到人，定期对各自工作情况进行检查评比。表扬先进，批评落后个人，严重的按学校规定批评教育外，还要赔偿损失。

其实爱护公物，保护环境并不是一件很难的事情，只要大家平时养成良好的习惯，以校为家，做一名公共环境的保护者，而不是破坏者，如果每个人都能把自己的行为习惯提高一小步，那么校园的和谐肯定就会前进一大步：当你正想随手扔出瓜皮果壳的时候，请你多走几步路，把它送入垃圾箱；当你走路看见地上飘着纸片的时候，请你弯弯腰，将它捡起来；当你正想随地吐痰时，请你想一想他人的健康，用纸将痰包起扔进垃圾箱里；当你倒垃圾，垃圾从垃圾箱里掉出来的时候，请你停一停脚步，将垃圾捡起来重新放回；当你看见水龙头未关，在哗哗流淌时，请你及时走上去把它关掉；当你看到有人在随意践踏草坪，攀拆花木，破坏桌椅、门窗时，请你立即勇敢向前制止他（她）；当你看到教室有常明灯时，请你及时关闭……

我相信只要大家从现在做起，从身边做起，从我做起，人人洁身自爱，个个遵守公德，我们的校园一定会更加干净、整洁，更加美丽漂亮。

到底是什么让戴眼镜的人飞快增加呢?这个问题在我的脑海里不停地转悠。后来，我观察了很长的时间，也从网上查了资料，最终得出了结论。第一大原因：不用科学的方法去保护眼睛。有的同学长时间的看书、上网、看电视，使眼睛经常处于疲劳状态，并且不注意眼睛卫生。虽然我们学校要求同学们都要按时做眼保健操，但一部分同学还是不好好做，有的还躲在桌子底下。第二大原因：基因遗传。有的父母是近视眼，并遗传给了自己的孩子。不过这种情况好象不多，“小眼镜儿”往往是因为不爱惜眼睛造成的。

最后奉劝大家：我们一定要爱惜自己仅有的这一双眼睛，使我们的每一天都充满光明!

When I was going on thirteen, I started to run my own shop. From then on, I worked hard to become a successful businessman.

One day I realized the importance of the English language in the business world and started taking night classes.

I was able to communicate well with foreign customers after two years of English study. But I started to feel that, in the long run, having a limited knowledge of English was not enough to make my business successful. I knew that only a well- rounded education could guarantee my success in the future.

When I was eighteen, I had to make a decision to continue doing business or go back to school. There was one obstacle keeping me from getting an advanced education. I had only completed elementary school up to that point. I then went back to senior high school after four months of tutoring in different subjects. I took the College Entrance Exams. Although my math exam result was only one point below the required score. I never gave up hope. The following year, I took it again and received the highest score in my city. Achieving such an amazing result gave me encouragement and courage necessary to continue my education to the next step.

I am now in my second year of college and know that it is never too late to learn. My passion for studying and improving myself will never come to a halt as long as I continue to live.

为什么会造成这样的后果？原因是土地失去了树木的保护。树木不仅可以保持土壤，还可以蓄水。树林的树冠就像一把大伞，不让雨水直接冲刷地面。树干上的苔藓和树下的枯枝败叶也可以吸收一部分雨水。而树林里土壤的蓄水能力就更大了，剩下的雨水渗进土壤，大都能够被储存起来。树林就像是一个天然水库一样。当人们砍下了树木，破坏了环境，大自然的报复就来了。
