想到从前人们的居住条件极差，住的房子破旧，年久失修，摇摇欲坠。国家也不忍看百姓过这样的生活，于是实行了“改革”。改革开放后，百姓的居住环境不断改善，可谓是“脱胎换骨”、“焕然一新”，用样式统一的平板房取代了破旧民居。再后来，新兴的住宅小区拔地而起。一大批居民走出了没有厨房、厕所、上下水道的老房子，搬进了房屋质量有保障、小区环境优美、购物交通方便的新楼房。还有我们从19世纪，那些拥有大量殖民地、经济飞速发展的资本主义列强纷纷崛起，到20世纪初，它们的矛盾愈加尖锐，终于导致了人类历史上第一次世界大战的爆发!人类也第一次经历了一场世界性的空前混战;又从英法联军火烧圆明园，把中国人不看在眼里，当成狗，签下了三条不平等的《北京条约》、《南京条约》、《天津条约》是中国人受到侮辱，到中国打败日本、加入世贸组织、举办2008年奥运会，和举办2010年的世博会。

Today, my parents were not at home, they had something to deal with, so

they left me alone. I was so happy because I could be in charge in my own house,

it made me feel like I was a grow-up. I wanted to give my parents a surprise, so

I planned to clean the house. It was not easy to do the house chores, first, I

swept the floor and took notice of every corner. And then I rearranged the

messed things. I just wanted to make sure the room would be very clean at first

sign. When my parents went home, they couldnt believe what I had done, they

were so happy that I could take care of myself.

I like to watch comedy so much, because it makes me laugh happily and I will forget about the annoyance. The comedies from Zhou Xingchi are my favorite, no matter how many times I watch them, I just can’t help laughing out loudly. Watching comedy is a good way to relax, it helps me to keep the good mood.
