I have got a lot of interesting scientific knowledge from the books of National Geographic Reading Expeditions, some of which are about life, physics. I really can’t help losing myself in the colorful pictures and clear words in the books. After reading the books, I have been considering a question: What if we lived without science? Great changes have taken place in the world with the help of science. In the past, life was nasty, brutish and short. It is hard to imagine how our forefathers could do without so many conveniences that modern science brings about. Back then, only a small group of people enjoyed the very few comforts. But the majority of people didn’t even have sufficient food, let along their privilege to be educated. Anyway, it is science that changes the world and makes people’s life better and better, although it also leads to some bad aspects at the same time.

From the discovery of the gravity to the first step on the moon, we human beings have experienced a long process of developing science. And now, this process is still continuing much faster. New organisms are already being engineered, and new genetically modified crops promise benefits from higher yields and less use of harmful chemicals and so on. A lot of examples are showing this point. In the future, changes are likely to be even much greater as science reaches out to shape life itself. Maybe one day, the possibility that life existed on Mars billions of years ago will be potentially one of the greatest discoveries of our time. It is the force of the competition, we human beings’ inquiring mind and initiative that bring about the non-stopped development of science. Therefore, it is difficult and impossible to prevent science from changing the world and our life as well.

At present, we are in two minds about science. On the one hand, we are enjoying the sweet life as a result of the evelopment of science, and expect it to continue. And we are showing our interests into some scientific expeditions, such as the astronomy, the alien civilization, etc. On the other hand, we are distrustful of it, due to the lack of understanding of science. This book is about the story--Bell Pavilion four (1) class of students, they adopted a variety of small animals in a zoo. Is a Taoist adoption "transfixed" OWL full of thoughts. Once camp, he discovered an OWL alive, came up with a daring idea-flying owls. He conspired with friends "rescue plan." They have overcome numerous difficulties, finally put the owls released into nature. These students pay particular care to animals, but I decided to let the animals return to nature. 这点，促使我重新审视自己，剖析自我。仔细回想一下，真的是当局者迷，我一直认为自己是一个有责任心的好老师。但有很多次，教育方式有所偏颇，其实我应该再多点耐心。尤其是班级里家庭环境复杂的孩子，让人难以琢磨，行为散漫过于懒惰，出现了学习问题，并使我陷入了艰难的境遇。令人沮丧的失败也随之而来，这是一种可怕的经历。好心做了傻事，这的确令人很尴尬、很难过，有些甚至是刻骨铭心的痛苦。

成功是没有捷径的，必须要努力才行。虽然曾经有过成功、有过失误，但我依然热爱自己的职业。《第56号教室的奇迹》是我自我发现之旅的开始，从艾斯奎斯身上值得学习的地方还有很多很多。如何找到平衡真正以孩子的观点来看待问题，汲取教训学会跟孩子沟通，让自己成为一个既有智慧又很成功的教师。

新的学年又是一个新的开始，现在，我有了一个自我激励的口号：成功无捷径!

具体工作方法如下。

1、以信任取代恐惧。

艾伦的话：“我去年问一个老师问题，结果她火冒三丈地对我说：‘我不是已经讲过了?你根本没在听!’可是我有听啊!就是听不懂嘛!雷夫老师会讲解500遍，一直到我听懂为止。”听了这段话，我有些惭愧。每个班都有后进生，我也曾经因为我反复讲解学生听不懂而大发雷霆。表面上看，好像是为学生着想，实际上却伤害了孩子的自尊心，让他们对我产生畏惧或者干脆破罐子破摔，那我们做的努力岂不是适得其反。我们为什么不能想雷夫老师那样，讲3遍不懂，可以讲5遍，5遍不懂，可以讲10遍，所以，“遇到学生不懂的时候，绝对不该感到沮丧。我们应该用积极的态度与耐心来面对问题，打造出立即、持久，而且凌驾于恐惧之上的信任。

2、做孩子们可靠的肩膀。

小时候我们都听过”狼来了“的故事，知道做人要诚实。可是，在现实生活中，我们不断对学生开着”空头支票“。这在一些公开课上最为常见，什么”课后讨论“”下课老师再和你交流“，这甚至一度被称为教学机智。可问题是我们真的实现我们是诺言了吗?也许，我们不会像雷夫老师那样疯狂，可至少我们必须对我们自己说过的话负责任，”身教重于言教“，让我们在自己的学生面前做一个言而有信的人吧。

3、 纪律必须合乎逻辑。

惩罚学生其实是一门很高深的学问，”老师可以严格，但不公平的老师会被学生看不起。“所以，惩罚学生最基本的原则就是公平。除了公平之外，我们也可以让惩罚变得有趣些、生动些、让学生易于接受些，真正起到教育的作用。

4、 你就是榜样。

”孩子们一直看着你，他们以你为榜样。你要他们做到的事情，自己要先做到。“”其身正，不令而行;其身不正，虽令不从。“要学生做到的事，自己首先要做到。我们希望学生勤奋、谦逊、有礼，首先我们自己要做到。这一点说起来容易，做起来却很难。因为我们的工作是日复一日、年复一年，要时时刻刻做学生的榜样，需要时时提高警惕，关键是打心眼里热爱这份工作、热爱学生，把教育当成事业来做，而不只是谋生的手段。

希望能有一天，我能成为创造奇迹的人，让我的教室也能产生奇迹!

一本你喜爱的书就是一位朋友，也是一处你随时想去就去的故地。最近，我读的一本好书《小妇人》就像一个朋友一样天天陪伴在我身边。

《小妇人》的作者是美国著名的女作家路易莎梅奥尔科特。作者以平实清新的笔调，讲述了马奇家四姐妹的成长故事。

马奇家虽然不富裕，但很注重道德教育。马奇太太经常与四姐妹谈心，每时每刻教导她们要积极向上，乐于助人。在善良的马奇太太的引导下，四姐妹在亲情中成长，她们内心充满了爱，整个家庭十分幸福。

母亲是世界上最亲爱的人，马奇太太这位善良坚强又富有爱心的母亲通过合理的教育和引导，培养出了拥有美好品质的女儿们。《小妇人》中处处都有爱：四姐妹中最大的美格爱自己的丈夫、孩子们;主人公乔卖去秀发为重病的父亲筹钱，在妹妹贝丝重病时寸步不离地照顾她;四姐妹中的老三，乔最疼爱的贝丝心里总是装着别人，却染上了猩红热，她说：“人间的爱是我们离开时唯一能够带走的东西。”艾美是四姐妹中最小的，长大后虽然生活富裕了，但她心理装的满满都是爱。

书中让我特别敬佩的是故事的主人公乔，她也是作者的化身。她个性活泼，追求自由和独立，始终清楚自己想要什么。她永远把家人放在第一位，为了家庭甘愿奉献一切，值得我们学习。

这样一个美好的家庭，充满爱的家庭使我心里满是“嫉妒”。尽管成长路上障碍重重，但有志者事竟成。原来，在这个世界上，家是最美好的，美好的爱来自家!

Thoughts or reflections on reading Wuthering Heights

The book was written by Emily Bronte, it published in 1847.But at that time, it seemed to hold little promise, selling very poorly and receiving only a few mixed reviews. I found this in our school library, I chose this book because the title attracted me. The book is structured around two parallel love stories, the first half of the novel centering on the love between Catherine and Heathcliff, while the less dramatic second half features the developing love between young Catherine and Hareton. In contrast to the first, the latter tale ends happily, restoring peace and order to Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange. In the story, the two houses, Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange, represent opposing worlds and values.

I spent twenty days reading this book. After reading this book, I felt for Heathcliff at first. Heathcliff begins his life as a homeless orphan on the streets of Liverpool, and then he tyrannized by Hindley Earnshaw. But he becomes a villain when he acquires power and returns to Wuthering Heights with money and the trappings of a gentleman. His malevolence proves so great and long—lasting. As he himself points out, his abuse of Isabella—his wife is purely sadistic, as he amuses himself by seeing how much abuse she can take and still come cringing back for more.

Catherine represents wild nature, in both her high, lively spirits and her occasional cruelty. She loves Heathcliff so intensely that she claims they are the same person. However, her actions are driven in part by her social ambitions, which initially are awakened during her first stay at the Lintons, and which eventually compel her to marry Edgar. Catherine is free—spirited, beautiful, spoiled, and often arrogant, she is given to fits of temper, and she is torn between her both of the men who love her. The location of her coffin symbolizes the conflict that tears apart her short life. She is buried in a corner of the Kirkyard. In contrast to Catherine, Isabella Linton—Catherine’s sister—in—law represents culture and civilization, both in her refinement and in her weakness. Ultimately, she ruins her life by falling in love with Heathcliff. He never returns her feelings and treats her as a meretool in his quest for revenge on the Linton family.

Just as Isabella Linton serves as Catherine’s foil, Edgar Linton serves as Heathcliff’s. Edgar grows into a tender, constant, but cowardly man. He is almost the ideal gentleman. However, this full assortment of gentlemanly characteristics, along with his civilized virtues, proves useless in Edgar’s clashes with his foil. He sees his wife obviously in love with another man but unable to do anything to rectify the situation. Heathcliff, who gains power over his wife, sister , and daughter.

The whole story make people’s mood heavy. Fortunately, the end is happy.

The author Emily Bronte lived an eccentric, closely guarded life. She was born in 1818, two years after Charlotte—the author of Jane Eyre and a year and a half before her sister Anne, who also became an author. Her father worked as a church rector, and her aunt, who raised the Bronte children after their mother died, was deeply religious. Emily Bronte did not take to her aunt’s Christian fervor, the character of Joseph, a caricature of an evangelical, may have been inspired by her aunt’s religiosity. The Brontes lived in Haworth, a Yorkshire village in the midst of the moors. These wild, desolate expanses—later the setting of Wuthering Heights—made up the Brontes daily environment, and Emily lived among them her entire life. She died in 1848, at the age of thirty.

I like this book because it rest on the unforgettable characters. Wuthering Heights is based partly on the Gothic tradition, a style of literature that featured supernatural encounters, crumbling ruins, moonless nights, and grotesque imagery, seeking to create effects of mystery and fear. I would like to recommend this book to other readers.

I felt that I was deeply fascinated by it soon after I had read it.

I first read it in a summer. I did not finish it at a single sitting. However, the moment I finished it, near midnight in a sweltering August day, with my body poured with sweat, held my breath to turn the last page over, shut the book and heaved a sigh of relief, I just could not express how I felt. All were over: trouble was over; lives were over; hopes were over. I was shocked how such a small book could contain such a complicated story. Never were wars, diseases and starvation ever nakedly exposed to me like this. The turns in plots were surprising but natural.

It was a tragedy: Just as its name suggested, everything was gone with the wind, including families’ touch, friends’ support, sweethearts’ gaze and youth with vigour. The story reminds us of valuing all we were possessing. A life lasts for a short time and anything in it lasts shorter. We always lose something unconsciously and then feel regretful when we need them later.

Characters in the story were so vivid as if they had been going to jump out of the story, as if they had been existed in the real life at first.

“Land is the only thing in the world that amounts to anything, for ‘this the only thing in this world that lasts, and don’t you be forgetting it’ this the only thing worth working for, worth fighting for——worth dying for.” Said Gerald, an Irish man who loved his soil more than his own life, let us know that life can be born out of land.

“But Scarlett, did it ever occur to you that even the most deathless love could wear out? Mine wore out, against Ashley Wilkes and your insane obstinacy that makes you hold on like a bulldog to anything you think about.”

“Scarlett, I was never one to patient pick up broken fragment glue them together and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken——and I’d rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived.” Said Rett Butler, a man who love Scalett as much as a man can love a woman. Loving her for years before he finally got her, he loved her crazily but did not let her know it for fear of being hurt. But at last he still could not escape from hurts. “My dear, I don’t give a damn.” Look, he did not care about it at all. He was a man who disguised himself so much.

“I mustn’t bawl; I mustn’t beg. I mustn’t do anything risk his contempt. He must respect me even——even if he doesn’t love me.”

“I’ll think of it all tomorrow, at Tara. I can stand it then. Tomorrow, I’ll think some way to get him back. After all, tomorrow is another day.”

Said Scalett O’hara, the most wonderful woman I’ve ever seen. She was hard and greedy and unscrupulous, a brave, frightened, bull-headed child. Though she only thought about how to attract man’s attention and did not do anything useful before the war, she did surprise me when I read about her doings after the war. At that time, her Tara was just reduced to ashes. Everyone sketched out their hands and asked her for food. She bravely faced the reality and rebuilt Tara with her own hands. What a tough woman, I thought. Though those she loved were all gone, she was still full of hope. When Rett didn’t love her anymore and wanted to leave her, she said “I mustn’t bawl… even if he doesn’t love me.” A woman’s dignity could be seen from what she have said and done. That’s why I appreciate her.

This novel gave me too much to think about and I can not fully express myself in English. It is true that reading an origin is more vivid than the translated ones. However, my English level limits me to understand the origin well without the translated. But I will work hard in order to understand better.

The novel is my treasure, forever, because I find myself in Scarlett and find the world I live in inside the story.

That’s really an excellent novel, with an ending from which you can see hope rising from despair.

站在浮华的世界尽头，一切似乎都只是过眼云烟，可是蓦然回首你会发现，褪去浮华的简单，平凡的世界，虽然没有轰轰烈烈，却安详而又和平。

《平凡的世界》全景式地描写了中国现当代城乡生活，通过复杂的矛盾纠葛，以孙少平等人为代表刻画了社会各阶层普通人们的形象。人的自尊、自强、与自信，人生的奋斗与拼搏、挫折与追求、痛苦与欢乐，纷繁的交织，读来令人荡气回肠。

故事中，主人公孙少安带着一家人，经历了贫穷，饿着肚子劳动过日子，兄弟姐妹们一天天长大。可是造化弄人，他与青梅竹马、两小无猜的教师田润叶忍痛分手，与后来结为夫妻的秀莲相亲相爱，虽然日子十分的艰难，但他从未放弃，而是一直努力，与妻子并肩奋斗，为了过上富裕的日子，照顾好一大家子的人，没日没夜辛苦的劳动，好在最终他成功了，开办了属于自家的砖厂，带领全村人致富。孙少安的弟弟孙少平有着高尚的品格，他的理想与钱财无关，与功名利禄也不相连，那种单纯的理想好像能够净化人的灵魂，使人读来如沐春风。

在那样的一个年代，如此苦难，可这样的一家人仍然相亲相爱，与现代社会的人和家庭形成了鲜明的对比。现在社会中部分子女在分家时，为了多分得父母的财产，不惜对簿公堂，以至于闹得不可开交，甚至从此桥归桥、路归路，老死不相往来。有的子女甚至从来没想过报答父母的养育之恩。

路遥为我们讲述的不只是那个久远的年代，更是一种人生应有的信仰和追求，亘古不变。这是一个喧嚣浮躁、处处充满道德危机的时代，每一个还拥有梦想并在追梦的人们都应该再重温《平凡的世界》。它会让你懂得：尽管命运还是那样的不公，尽管社会有那么多的不平，可只要你能够不屈不挠、艰苦奋斗、勇往直前，终能有所收获。

It was Mother’s Day.Sun Zheng thought he should do something for

hismother.He decided to help his mother do some housework.After school he went

toa shop to buy some food on his way home.

When he got home, he did his best to cook some nice food,though he

I was read the book which called “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”。 This story is about a clever boy called Tom Sawyer.

Tom is a naughty boy, he doesn’t like school and he doesn’t like work and he never wants to get up in the morning. But he like playing like swimming, fishing and having adventures with his friends. In this story he and his friend have a lot of adventures. These adventures can be dangerous. One night in the graveyard he and Huck see three men. Then Tom and his friends saw a murder. Joey killed the doctor and referred to Peter. Tom and his friends exposed Joey and caught him and became hero.

I think Tom is naughty but he is sympathetic and upright, he is brave he doesn’t afraid of Joey and full of his mind are wicked idea but he is clever and optimistic, he want his friend work for him, he make a lot of funny things.

This book let me know we need to “The road sees rough, gone to bat” to face difficult things we can’t shrink back and we need to fight with them. In the same time l know if only have a dream have pursuit and should try our best to do it , we can’t give up easily .

It just like in our study life we need to do our best. When we have problem we need to overcome it and get better scores.

《红楼梦》是四大名著之首，以贾、史、王、薛四大家族为背景，以贾宝玉、林黛玉爱情悲剧为主要线索，着重描写贾家荣、宁二府由盛到衰的过程。

读完红楼后，我觉得有无奈和悲伤，为黛玉而伤，为宝钗而悲。她们的悲和伤，看上去似乎都是宝玉造成的，但谁又能说不是当时的社会间接造成的呢!倘若没有世俗羁绊，黛玉又岂会在无数个夜晚哭泣?黛玉内心所有的伤，所有的不安，都是为了这段情。

倘若没有封建礼教的束缚，宝钗怎会被一段金玉良缘所负，误了一生。在袭人拜托湘云做鞋子，宝钗知道湘云银子少，所以将哥哥铺里的螃蟹拿给湘云请客。这些无不能看出宝钗心思之细腻令人不得不服。在刘姥姥二进大观园中，大家伙行令时，黛玉只顾怕罚把《西厢记》《牡丹亭》中的句子说了出来。事后宝钗找黛玉谈话，表示理解她，从此宝黛成了知心姐妹。再有就是尖酸刻薄的赵姨娘因为宝钗送了些东西，都称赞她，人好又大方，会做人。所以说，她本不应是依靠谁而活着的女子，是封建礼教迫害她一步步成为了有私心的人。尽管如此，她也从未做过伤害别人的事情，她只是明哲保身。所以不论别人如何黑化她，我都坚持认为她仍是那个在大观园中豁达大度、巾帼不让须眉的女子。

一部红楼，浩浩荡荡成百上千的人物，每个人都有自己的执念。忘不了功名富贵，忘不了爱恨情仇，正如“天下熙熙皆为利来，天下攘攘皆为利嚷。”

红楼中令我浸湿眼眶的是，黛玉形容憔悴，躺在潇湘馆的病榻上，万念俱灰时，留下一句不完整的遗言“宝玉、宝玉，你好……”之后，浑身冷汗，气若游丝，最后一点余温亦消失殆尽。或许她是带着对宝玉的恨离开的人世，她不恨宝钗不恨贾母，只是恨宝玉没有遵守承诺。又或许她是带着对宝玉昔日的山盟海誓去往的天国。“侬今葬花人笑痴，他年葬侬知是谁”，也许她已经预感到了一切。但不管怎样，她的离开并没有引起轰动，说是悄悄的也不为过。我心痛，却无能无力，也许黛玉之死，是一种解脱。人生如戏，戏如人生，终有曲终人散之时。

曹雪芹在小说开篇便说到，“满纸荒唐言，一把辛酸泪。都云作者痴，谁解其中味?”真的是，假作真时真亦假，无为有处有还无。看完这本书，感觉像是一场梦，但这场梦太真实，似乎我经历过那些恍如昨日的故事，也似乎懂得那些岁月里的谈笑。红楼人物之多，像是浓缩了世上每个人的影子，总能在这或者那里看到自己，那里有人间百态，世间万象。

鲁迅说，悲剧是将有价值的东西毁给人看。所以，《红楼梦》的悲剧美，才会在一旁观看的我们感到震撼与悲痛，和无法自拔的深深陷入。(谢淑明)

我最喜欢读的一本书是《中国神话故事》，这里面有非常多的神话故事，足有25篇故事呢！其中，我喜欢的故事有；盘古开天辟地、女娲造人、巫山神女、后羿射乌、嫦娥奔月、哪吒太子和牛郎织女。先说说盘古开天辟地的故事吧！这篇故事告诉我，盘古开天辟地，牺牲了自己，改变了宇宙的混沌状态。我们要学习他这种奉献精神！接着说说嫦娥奔月的故事吧！这篇故事告诉我，心术不正的人最终不会有好下场，而乐于帮助别人的人会被人一直怀念。最后说说哪吒太子的故事吧！这篇故事告诉我，爸爸妈妈养育我们十分辛苦，我们要做一个懂事的好孩子！哪吒敢于和坏人坏事做斗争的品质值得我们学习！祝大家新年happy！

在《红楼梦》第十三章——《秋爽斋结海棠诗社》中，我知道了大观园中各姐妹平日里都喜欢写诗作乐，看见一些新奇的东西就忍不住吟诗。但是从林黛玉的《咏菊》、《问菊》、《菊梦》这三首诗中，我又可以知道林黛玉并不只是一个喜欢哭泣的女孩，还是一个才华横溢的女孩。这使我有点佩服她聪明过人。

在本书第十六章——《慧紫鹃试探宝玉情》中我知道了聪明的紫鹃想让黛玉和宝玉的这门婚事早办成，就发挥了她的聪明才智，用一句假话去试探宝玉。宝玉却将假话信以为真，就很伤心。看来，我预料的没错——宝玉对黛玉的情是真心的，没有半点假意。

宝玉这种纯真的爱深深地打动了我，看了后，我非常激动，不知不觉热泪盈眶，久久不能忘怀。
