I read the book then watched the movie, both of them ga一ve me great shock, I really admire Meggie,she had the courage to use her whole life to love Ralph, never ga一ve up. She believed that she would love Ralph only in her life. But I don’t like Meggie’s attitude to love, Ralph is a Father, and he mustn’t love Meggie, they really loved each other, but they are not destined to be together. So in my opinion I think Meggie should give in, she shouldn’t fight with God, Ralph had told her he would serve God forever, so Meggie wouldn’t win. Maybe giving up is a good choice. Their love is painful.

Tell the turth I don’t like Meggie neither Ralph, Ralph could not give Meggie happniess while Meggie couldn’t support Ralph to concentrate on his work. So they would not ha一ve happy life, they only made each other feel sad .

Frank is my fa一vorite role. he was short but strong ,and he was one of the main labor in his family. He didn’t want to be a shepherd, but the family needed him , and he must feed he the sheep so that everybody in his family can live better. Once he escaped from home , but it wassn’t long before his father found him and take him home. I feel so sorry that he had a miserable fate. He longed for freedom but most of his life didn’t belong to himself, it’s really a pity .

Frank was different to every man in their home, he loved his mother deeply, and he always helped his mother do the housework. he dreamed to be an outstanding boxer. Frank was considerable, and he always try his best to make Meggie feel happy. As Meggie’s oldest brother, he could be worried about Meggie’s fa一vorite doll, and he even tried to fixed the doll which was distroyed by Meggie’s other brothers. Frank and Meggie would always tell each other what they thought in their deep heart , and they are close friends.

I was so sad when I learned that Frank killed a man and he was sent to the prision. It is really a big shock to Meggie, for Frank was the only one who can listen to Meggie’s secrets. She thought she lost Frank forever. I cannot imagine how painful for Frank to spend dozens years in the prision. He once had good dream about his life, but he had to waste most of his life in prision. In my opinion it was Frank’s father that distoryed his life. His father didn’ t give him freedom, and Frank can’t had strong resistance spirits, and because he didn’t control himself and broke the law.The energitic Frank will never come to us, and he became a man who didn’t wanna talk. He began to be afraid of the world…it is really a pity.

As for Meggie, I think she was a good girl. She was beautiful and smart, but she it was wrong for her to love Ralph. Meggie was an excellent girl, she was able to find an outstanding boy to love her, but she put all her love on Ralph even she married Luke. She married Luke just because Luke looked like Ralph. Meggie wanna be a thorn bird, but I think it was too cruel to her. She was so kind that she shouldn’t stand that king of pain, and I think she was born to ha一ve a happy life. I pity for her.

Both the story of thorn birds and the legend are painful and beautiful, but not every one can be the thorn birds, because it is not our porpose to ha一ve a painful life. We are born to be happy. Olny happiness is the ture meaning of life while the story was written for us to enrich our life. It is a wonderful story.

今年寒假，我读了《三国演义》(少儿版)这本书，这本书的作者是罗贯中。罗贯中描写的三国具有很高的文学成就，成为中国四大名著之一。书中的人物个个栩栩如生，经常寥寥数语就令人物在读者面前鲜活起来，对于事情的发展，更是有条不紊，娓娓道来。

《三国演义》是以《三国志》改编而来，描写了刘备、孙权、曹操三分魏蜀吴的故事。《三国演义》中有众多英雄：刘备胸怀大志，对兄弟肝胆相照;关羽英勇善战，对兄长肝脑涂地;诸葛亮知识渊博，才高八斗，上知天文下知地理……

在所有英雄人物中，我最喜欢、最敬佩的人是诸葛亮。诸葛亮原来隐居在卧龙岗，所以也称卧龙先生。刘备听说诸葛亮足智多谋、神机妙算，是不可多得的人才，曾三顾茅庐用真心打动了诸葛亮。最后，诸葛亮当上了刘备手下的谋士。第一次出战，关羽和张飞怀疑诸葛亮的能力，不听从调遣。因为诸葛亮拿到了刘备的“令箭”，所以二人不得不执行命令。刘备、赵云假装战败，将曹军领进芦苇荡中，借着风势，火烧曹军。与此同时，关羽和张飞火烧曹军粮草，几对人马前后夹击，令曹军狼狈不堪，仓皇逃跑。就这样，刘备带领的人马凭借着诸葛亮完美的计谋，以少胜多战胜了曹军。我看到此处感叹不已，诸葛亮不愧是一位出色的谋士啊!

我读完《三国演义》之后，感慨万分，心情久久不能平息……

Let me just start by saying that I had been put off reading Thomas Hardye by Dickens. Having really struggled with Dickens and resorted to audio I had wrongly assumed that all 19C liturature was the same. How wrong I could be. From the first paragraph where the opening character farmer Gabriel Oak is desribed smiling, ‘the corners of his mouth spread till they were an unimportant distance from his ears‘ I fell in love with Hardy‘s narrative. His ability to use words that lift the description off the page and into the reader‘s imagination are not just outstanding but incredibly enjoyable.

I went into this book blindly, knowing little about the plot that lay ahead or even the genre. It has been described by some as romantic fiction. But I think this is too simplistic a title and and maybe slightly off-putting to some. Hardye steps into Greek Tragedy when the unwitting and churlish actions of our young protagonist, Bathsheba Everdene, result in a love tryst between three suitors with tragic consequenses.

The book is essentially a journey for Bathsheba into womanhood not unlike the journey that Scarlett O‘Hara makes in Gone with the Wind who also has to overcome great tragedy in order to realise her own strength. Unlike this heroin, however, Bathsheba is more the instrument of chaos and indecion and part of her journey is that she accepts what she has caused and tries to make it right.

Hardye avoids making this into moral stricture but deviates from the Greek Tragedy model by giving us a happy ending not atypical of 19C serialised fiction.

If we eat more vegetables and less meat， there will be more food available。

Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are

kept。

Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them。

The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods

of birth control。

Finally， if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a

better and cleaner planet in the future。

读《三国演义》有感

今天，我读了一本古典小说，这本小说的名字叫做《三国演义》，它是我国著名的四大名著之一。你们一定会很奇怪，我现在都已经上高中了，怎么现在还来读这本《三国演义》呢。其实我们以前读的都是儿童版的，不过今天我的弟弟买来了四本原版的，我一看那可比儿童版的好多了，于是我就跟弟弟借来读，没想到一读就不想停下来，迫不及待的想要把它读到末尾。

《三国演义》这本古典小说是写三国时期的战争和各类英雄人物，如刘备的豪气，诸葛亮的忠诚，曹操的大气，其中我最敬佩的人就是关羽了。关羽，字云长，他与刘备结为兄弟，是张飞的二哥，令人敬佩的就是他的勇气和信心。比如说有一次关羽中了毒箭，需要开肉去毒，虽然这个手术会让关羽很痛苦，但他还是一边和自己的手下下棋，一边进行这种去毒手术，等到棋下完了毒也去掉了，虽然关羽在麦城一战中被吴军沙死了，但他的形象已经在我的脑海中挥之不去了。

读了这一本古典历史小说，我不禁想到了自己。有一次，我生病了，来到医院看病，医生说要打吊针，我一听医生说“要打吊针”这几个字吓坏了，死活也不肯打吊针，最后还是医生耐心地鼓励了我足足半小时，我才肯打吊针。

当我读到“关云长脸色极其镇静，用一只没有受伤的手和自己的手下下棋，另一只手正刮毒”这个地方时，我深深地被关于那种勇敢的气魄给震撼了，我仔细一想，我们生活中打一下针都会疼的不得了，更何况是割掉手上的肉去掉毒液呢，那肯定是一种扎心般的痛，可是关羽连哼都没哼一声，由此可见，关羽是多么的有勇敢气魄啊!难道关于这种拥有勇敢的气魄的精神不值得我们学习吗?这不正是时代进步的动力吗?如果没有拥有这种勇敢的气魄的精神，时代就没法发展，社会就没有办法进步，人类在地球上的文明就没有办法长久。我们这些青少年儿童作为国家的未来，民族的希望，就更要具备这种拥有勇敢的气魄的精神，因为时代的接力棒要靠我们来传承，如果没有这种勇敢无畏的精神，我们是无法在世界上立足的!勇敢胜于一切。

一定要具备勇敢的气魄——这就是这本书给我的启发。

那个血雨腥风的年代早已悄然过去，通过这本书，让我们又回到过去，眼前飞扬着一个个鲜活的面容，重温那金戈铁马的历史画卷，体验那一幕幕激动人心的时刻。

他，挟天子以令诸侯，先灭董卓后灭吕布，大破李傕和郭汜，又在官渡之战以少胜多，大破袁绍，而后平马超、灭张鲁，远征乌桓，统一北方。“宁教我负天下人，不教天下人负我”暴露出他的狭隘;官渡之战以少胜多突显出他的智谋。可是，赤壁一战，二十万大军顷刻化为乌有，损失惨重，奠定三国鼎立。他生性多疑，神医华佗为他治病，他竟然怀疑华佗要谋害他，遂杀死了这位神医。这就是乱世奸雄——曹操。

他，被刘备不辞辛劳、思贤若渴的精神所感动，为刘备制定建国策略;为联合孙吴共同抵抗曹操，他舌战江东群儒;三气周瑜，智取荆襄九郡，又进军益州，使刘备三分天下有其一。也曾七擒孟获，安定后方;六出祁山，誓复汉室，多次击退曹军，因积劳成疾，壮志未酬，病死军营，“鞠躬尽瘁，死而后已”印证了他的一生。连魏国司马懿也赞叹他是“天下奇才”。这便是卧龙先生——诸葛亮。

他，勇猛刚毅，义重如山。“桃园三结义”，“身在曹营心在汉”，毕生追随刘备，为刘备鞍前马后。他武艺高强，颇有谋略：温酒斩华雄，杀颜良、诛文丑，为曹操解白马之围;过五关、斩六将，单刀赴会，水淹七军，可谓所向披靡，英勇无敌。然在无数次胜利面前，他渐渐滋生骄傲情绪，最后败走麦城，兵败被杀。这便是三国名将——关羽。

此外，这本书还塑造了众多栩栩如生的形象，“喝断长坂水倒流”的张翼德，“宝刀不老”、“百步穿杨”的黄汉升，骁勇善战的赵子龙等等。

《三国演义》开创我国历史小说的先河，其中名篇数不胜数，“桃园三结义”、“三顾茅庐”等故事早已烂熟于心，耳熟能详。“赤壁之战”透露出的智谋更令人惊叹不已：孔明江东辩群儒，七星坛上借东风，再加上黄盖的苦肉计、庞统的连环计，才使得那曹操上当，才会取得如此大的胜利。正因为这些精彩的故事情节，《三国演义》才成为我国古代灿烂文化中的一部分，才真正让我们感受到我国文化的璀璨。

暑假里，我读了爸爸给我买的四大名著中的《三国演义》。

《三国演义》讲的是，东汉末年，天下大乱，群雄并起，都想统一天下，经过一番征战后天下分成了三个国家，——魏、蜀、吴，也就是曹操、刘备、和孙权的国家，这三个国家的主人，都想灭掉别的国家，一统天下，所以他们就开始明争暗斗，想推翻别的国家，经过长达数十年的战斗后，司马懿的孙子——司马炎，他攒了皇位，改国号为晋国，随后，他消灭了蜀国，皇帝刘禅投降，然后，他又开始攻打吴国，吴国也灭亡了，皇帝孙皓投降。司马炎统一了天下，建立了晋国的故事。

在《三国演义》的阅读过程中，有几位人物，使我非常敬佩，第一位就是大名鼎鼎的诸葛亮，诸葛亮被刘备请出山后，火烧新野、舌战群儒、草船借箭、赤壁大战…...几次打败曹操，是一位足智多谋的军事家、政治家、发明家。

第二位就是号称常胜将军的赵云赵子龙，他不顾危险，几次救了刘禅的命，长坂坡，他为救刘禅，在曹军中，杀了个7进7出，救出了刘禅，截江夺阿斗的时候，赵云又从孙尚香(刘备的妻子)怀中夺回刘禅，是一位智勇双全的将军。

第三位是诸葛亮的继承人姜维姜伯约，诸葛亮去世前把自己一生所学的军事知识全部传给了姜维，其中包括他发明的连珠弩的制作方法。姜维全力为蜀国出力，最后为蜀国舍生取义，悲壮自刎!

三国时代是一个英雄并出的时代，像诸葛亮，周瑜，司马懿，还有名医华佗等等，都是出自三国时期，所以，三国时代的故事能流传至今而不衰!

When I was a freshman in college I watched the film Gua Sha Treatment for the first time, now I am a junior student and I come back to review the movie from a multicultural aspect, I have many different feelings after watching the film again.

At the beginning of the film, XuDatong is given an award and later he delivers a speech. What makes me impressed most is in his speech he says “one day I will become one of you, a truly successful American, today this award proved that America is a true land of opportunity and I am the living proof of that.” At that moment Xu thinks he has realized his American Dream totally with his lovingly wife and adorable son. However, I think it is ironical that to make a speech like that and I assume it is made on purpose to hind a clue for the story’s development. How many non-American people have such a beautiful American dream? One of my classmate studies in American now and before he went aboard he told me his American dream is he can stand at the top of the New York. To be honest, I also dream that one day I can get the Green Card living there happily and successfully maybe working at the Wall Street. When Xu gets the award he thinks he entirely melted in the melting pot neglecting the multicultural obstruct, later the plot goes against the way he thinks. And later Quinlan asked Xu ‘why you be the scapegoat of your father?’ Xu answers ‘because he is Chinese.’ Then maybe Xu knows that there is always a wide gap between Chinese and American cultures.

The second scene is Xu hit his son Denis because Denis hit the son of xu’s boss, at the middle of the film xu tells his boss that he hit his own son is only to show his respect to his boss John Quinlan, that time Quinlan feels puzzled “what a Chinese logic”， yes, American can never understand such a logic full of Chinese characteristic, because they respect everyone including the children, they won’t beat a child to please the boss, and there is no such a conception of degree between employee and employer, they feel everyone is equal, which is quite different from china.

Connected to the second scene, the third difference I want to analyze is the care for the children. In America, people pay more attention to the right of children which can be seen from the law—leaving children alone at home is illegal, while in China it is so common that almost everyone may experience such loneliness. And Children Welfare Agency does work in America which shows the importance Americans attach to children’s right. What’s more, I remember a line ‘No one won the case, especially the child.’ In my opinion, it also manifests the universal concern from the American public to the children.

The fourth aspect is following the procedure, in the film, more than there times, the people focus on the rule, the law, the procedure. At the Christmas Eve Xu wants to return back to his home pretending as a Santa Claus, what a pity, the security recognizes him and persuades ‘you are always a good tenement, never causes troubles for me.’ And another scene is at the end of the film , the judge says ‘I have to follow the procedure.’ However, in China people always have to ask for a favor to do something, and later you have to pay back the favor ，for myself, I prefer the American style, strict to the procedure.

The fifth and the last point is the humors, Quinlan says ‘you can’t fall, your health security is the company paid.’ ‘Datong, welcome home, maybe next time, you can come from the front door.’ ‘dady, why you come from the window’ ‘ because we don’t have a chimney.’ I really adore this distinguished American humor, especially in dangerous situations, which is quite rare in China.

和关羽比起来，我真是没用。 记得三年级的时候有一次，我在学校里发高烧，烧到将近四十度，妈妈得到消息的时候，把我从学校接了回来，带我去了医院，医生说我扁桃腺发炎，需要针。我非常害怕，然后我大哭了，过了一会儿我慢慢冷静下来了，但看见针缓缓的刺进皮肤里，我又哭了。

我现在想起来也觉得好笑，当然我已经没有那么软弱了，通过这个故事我懂得了有些困难要像关羽那样用坚强的意志去战胜困难才能取得成功。

小时侯爸爸送给我一套中华成语故事书，那时候我还看不懂，所以我就一直没看。自从我上了一年级之后，逐渐认识了更多汉字，我就愿意看这本书了。我喜欢看这本书的原因是我知到了不少历史人物和令人难忘的故事，还有就是我觉的成语很神奇：四个字就可以代表那么长的故事，讲述令人很容易理解的道理。最后一个原因是书上不认识的字可以查字典，这样我就可以认识更多生字了，而且让我更加熟悉了怎样查字典。

看了半年后我觉得收获很大，知道了不少成语故事，比如：一人得道，鸡犬升天：比喻一个人得势，他的关系人也由此得到好处；一暴十寒：意为晒一天，冻十天，植物难以生长，后指做事没恒心；一毛不拔：一根毫毛都不肯拔掉，形容非常吝啬。

今后只要有时间，我就坚持读这本书，认识更多的成语故事及生字。爸爸还教导让我把成语故事联系到现实生活中去，加深对成语的理解，从中受益，让我把成语故事的道理更多运用到现实生活中，更好的指导我如何学习。

故事讲了在一个大雪纷飞的大年夜里，一个卖火柴的小女孩正沿街叫卖，可是却没有一个人来买她的火柴。她衣衫破烂不堪，双脚被冻得通红。因为她没有卖出火柴，所以不敢回家，怕被爸爸挨打，她连续三次划着火柴来取暖，在光亮中她看到了大火炉、烤鹅、和美丽的圣诞树，但火柴一灭，那些美好的幻想也就消失了，她又划着一根火柴，看到了已故的奶奶，她请奶奶把她带走，奶奶答应了……第二天，小女孩冻死了。

不知不觉，我的眼睛已模糊，感动的泪水流了出来。

我为自已能够生活在这样的幸福时代感到高兴，小女孩的家庭很贫穷，命运很悲惨，生活很困难，小女孩很可怜，我为她感到惋惜。一个多么美好的生命，却慢慢远离了人世界，看到这个小女孩最终的生命，我感到十分的难过。当小女孩的最后一只鞋被小男孩抢走时，我多想给她一双保暖鞋，当小女孩看到香喷喷的烤鹅时，我多想送她一盒巧克力或是一包饼干，当小女孩看到圣诞树上那么多礼物露出羡慕的眼神时，我多么想走上前去把所有玩具统统送给她……不过，我知道这些想法都是徒劳的，因为我无法靠近她。

看完《麦田里的守望者》对那个时不时就说粗话的主人公印象很深，他虽然生活在人们缺乏理想，意志消沉，在自己无力改变的社会大背景下，且他也是被认为垮掉的一代，但依旧拥有朴实与善良，这是难能可贵的。

《麦田里的守望者》讲述的16 岁中学生霍尔顿的故事。霍尔顿出身于富裕的中产阶级家庭。他虽只有16 岁，但比常人高出一头，整日穿着风雨衣，戴着猎帽，游游荡荡，不愿读书。他对学校里的一切—— 老师、同学、功课、球赛等等，全都腻烦透了，曾是学校击剑队队长，3 次被学校开除。又一个学期结束了，他又因5 门功课中4 门不及格被校方开除。他讨厌假模假式的人们，但由于现实生活中的人们都假模假式，使他不得已也要那样子做。社会中有许多的人已经堕落了，就连学校的老师也一样都已经堕落 成为伪君子， 而且连霍尔顿唯一敬佩的一位老师也可能是个搞同性恋的，而这位老师谆谆教导他的，也只是利已主义的信条：“ 一个不成熟男子的标志是他愿意为某种事业英勇地死去，一个成熟男子的标志是他愿意为某种事业卑贱地活着。” 可见当时的社会多么的腐化和黑暗，都是崇尚些消极的思想、败坏人品的思想。霍尔顿生活在这样的一个社会中，免不了耳濡目染的受到这些不良思想、不良行为的影响，他之所以经常说粗话，或许就是由于当时的社会环境所造成的。但霍尔顿并没有真正的堕落，他还拥有朴实和善良。有一次 霍尔顿上街游荡，遇见两个修女，捐了10 块钱。可见他并不是一个利己主义者，他的内心中还存在善良的种子，正在等待着萌芽的机会，只不过有时他深深的把它埋藏在内心，不让别人发现，所以在别人就做起假模假式的那一套。

霍尔顿在当时的社会中依旧保持着朴实和善良的心，是他心中的梦想支持了他。但是的社会那么混乱、那么黑暗，他都能避免堕落，那么生活在当和平与安稳的环境中，我们是不是也要拥有自己的梦想呢?。答案是肯定的，梦想能够指引我们前进、能够给我们动力。遇到困难时，我们也要坚持，因为生活不可能一帆风顺，但是苦难不会一直跟着我们的，幸福有一天也会来到身边。要记住风雨过后就是晴天，一起加油吧。

To my surprise, Katniss involved in the hunger games, replaces her sister to play. She moves forward with faith, and finally wins both love and the hunger games. By the way, Katniss and Peeta are the tributes from district 12. Finally, they survive to the end and return home.

In my opinion, the Hunger Games is written mainly against domination. In another word, the hunger games are the product of domination. From the growth of Katniss, I deeply impressed that she is not only minute but also representative and aspirant, for the Hunger Game is not only a game itself as a show, but also the game between the Capitol and other 12 districts. This is a game about domination and revolution. In the Hunger Games, there are many moving scenes. While peeta joins the tributes from the richer districts. Realizing that Katniss and Peeta instead to commit suicide, the gamemakers announce that they both will be victors of the 74th Hunger Games. Katniss is very mature, brave and wise. She is a b role model for young girls with her character"s sacrifice, courage, moral grounding in a world that"s lost its own, and will to fight for what"s right, even if it means sacrificing her own life or sparking a revolution.

Although the reality is cruel for almost every character in the fiction, the positive side of humanity and love is always bright.
