Every Girl Can Be A Princess

A Little Princess is a touching novel written by Frances Hodgson Burnett—a famous novelist and dramatist. It obviously contains lots of fancied plots, but the parts it talks about creating miracles, can really reach the bottom of my heart. The book can bring me into a world that is more than reality while reading it. The extraordinary story makes me ponder a lot and gives me a deep impression that every girl can be a princess.

In my opinion, it is impossible for every rich girl to act like a well-behaved princess, but Sara, the heroine of the novel, did it! She was an imaginative little girl who had such intelligent small face and such perfect manners. Sara was a very nice girl who had a gentle, appreciative ways of saying, such as “If you please” “Thank you” which was very charming. So, not only her teachers and classmates liked her, but also her servants liked her. There was a time when Sara became a poor and pitiful servant insulted by the snobbish headmaster of the school. In spite of this, she had never complained to anyone about the horrible suffering she had endured. Sara was confident, brave, optimistic and kind-hearted just like before and she had never given up her enthusiasm of life. No matter when, Sara acted like a princess, and on account of this, she had accomplished a great deal of miracles over and over again.

After reading this outstanding book, I was shocked by Sara, a little girl who suffered such unimaginable pain and tortures, but still had an opposite attitude towards life. What impresses me most is that Sara put on her act of being a princess when she wore thin bottom shoes, wading in the street of London. From my point of view, her spirit of being so strong-minded when she was in hard times is worth admiring.

Truly, every girl is a princess coming into common life. The “princess” I mean is not a princess living in the palace and being regarded as the apple of everyone’s eye. As the matter of fact, the “princess” is at heart. I am in the belief that every ordinary girl in the world can be a princess. The way for a girl to be a princess is quite simple. Just suppose! You can suppose yourself to be a princess, and go about your business confidently without caring how the others would treat you. If you want to have more resemblance to a princess, be more kind and try your best to help the people in need. The most important thing you are supposed to do is that to feel like a real princess at any occasion, particularly when you are involved with enormous melancholy. Do not feel the conditions you faced are extremely wretched and attempt to get rid of the feeling of hopelessness and uneasiness. The less you look like a princess, the more you need to feel like a princess at heart.

Every girl can be a princess if she can do all I mentioned, no matter she is rich, beautiful or not. To speak truthfully, I cannot do as well as Sara. However, I will exert myself on being a princess mentally.

Do not feel depressed any more, to be a well-thought-of princess like Sara. You can do it, because Every Girl Can Be A princess.

暑假里我读了一本书《伊索寓言》。我很喜欢这本书，因为通过一个个十分简单又很短的小故事，讲述了一个个深入人心的大道理。

有一个故事给我的印象很深，那就是《两个渔夫》这个故事。有一天，两个渔夫拉网时，觉得特别沉重，他们高手舞足蹈起来，以为这下子捕到了许多鱼，哪知他们用力把网拉到岸边一看，网里满是石头，树枝，破瓦盆什么的，没有一条鱼。两个渔夫垂头丧气，那个年轻的渔夫说：真是倒霉透了。那个年老的渔夫对年轻的渔夫说，别难过，人生变化万千，正如有时晴朗的天空会突然发生风暴，为要因挫折面苦恼。我觉得那两个年老的人说的很对，人生没有一帆风顺，果实是没有不劳而获的，我们一定要靠自己的努力才会有成果。

其实，在生活中，这种事情很经常，也很普遍的发生。在我考试没考好的时候，总是后悔考试之前没有好好复习，或是考试时没有认真的去做题，因而深深的陷入懊悔之中。后悔自己为什么没有把握时间，多看一些书，拓宽知识面，为自己的未来做准备呢？但我丝毫没有意识到这是毫无益处的浪费时间。

放假后，许是自己的潜意识里没有学习的状态，假期快过完了，学习却仍没有什么进步的起色。到了这几天，我才开始后悔，后悔，而无济于补。

读了《三顾茅庐》这个成语故事之后，让我明白了：去拜访别人，必须有一颗诚恳之心。这样，才会有回报。我们学习也是一样，只有我们认认真真的听好每一堂课，把所学的知识要点充分掌握住，按时完成布置得课堂作业，课外作业，在完成作业的时候，最好自己能独立完成，检查自己真正学会了多少知识内容，来不得半点虚假和水分，到了考试的时候，才能考出好的成绩。如果，平时学习马马虎虎，对自己要求不严格，就会靠的成绩很差。所以，我们要用《三顾茅庐》的态度去学习。

I have recently read Battle Hymn of Tiger Mother published by The Penguin Press in 2011. This autobiography was written by the Chinese American woman Amy Chua, a tenured professor in Yale Law School. She causes a sensation because her strict but unique parenting which brings excellent performance of her two daughters.

This autobiography tells the course of Amy Chua how she raised the two daughters in Chinese parenting way. It is divided into three parts. At the first part, it gives some introductions of the two daughters, the family. And in the second and third parts, the writer tells more details in the process of raising her two different daughters and the difficulties she was confronted in the process, and most importantly the success the daughters achieved in music which brought Amy Chua pride as well as the whole family.

To some extent, I don’t like Amy’s parenting in some aspects. In my opinion, she deprived the nature of children and pushed too much pressure on their children, especially on Lulu who was under the shadow of her excellent elder daughter—Sophia. While I was reading the third part in the rebellion part, I couldn’t control my own emotion, I felt what Lulu felt and even hated against her selfish and autocratic mother. I couldn’t understand why Amy didn’t let Lulu get up from sit, for water, not even to go to the bathroom when Lulu just wanted a rest during the long hours’ practice of violin. She made Lulu practice violin all day during the family’s vacation abroad. She spoiled the vacation by letting the other family members waiting the practice. She was unreasonable.

But next what I do is to admire her.

There is an old Chinese saying “property can never last for three generations”。 But Amy Chua did change it! Her parents came to U.S and suffered a tough life at the very beginning. They taught Amy math and piano in an extreme strict way when she was a kid. Under the influence of her parents, now Amy is frugal and pretty strict with her daughters and herself. They are the valuable points of her. Although she is so extreme on her parenting, she has the advisable ideas that the parents and the parents to be to learn.

Firstly, as parents, they couldn’t ignore their children and put all focus on their job. There is no excuse for not concerning their children. Except supervising her daughters, Amy Chua has to give lessons in university, write books and handle the family chores. She is so busy, but she doesn’t ignore the daughters.

Secondly, parents should be strict with their children especially when they are kids because kids lack of self-control. They should not indulge their children in internet or sleepovers.

Thirdly, parents should master some skills in parenting. As a matter of fact, there are so many Chinese parents who are strict with their children with no avail of success. Success can’t be totally copied, because some parents ignore the skills in parenting. When their children don’t follow their will or perform well enough to satisfy them, they will lose their temper and even beat their children, yes, of course, Amy Chua will be mad but she won’t beat her daughters, in this condition, she will be sober and wait until her daughters perform well enough. She learnt some music knowledge in her children’s class and supervised them patiently. She knew where to correct the mistakes and gave the children extraordinary success.

Tiger mother aroused a big heat in parenting and threw such an important issue for us to think about. Battle Hymn of Tiger Mother gives us really some enlightenment. Anyway, that’s a really unique experience in reading this book.

今年寒假，我读了美国著名作家海明威的小说《老人与海》。我十分佩服小说中老渔夫的意志，他让我懂得了一个人定要有坚持不懈的精神才有可能成功。

小说塑造了一个经典硬汉形象，古巴的一个名叫桑地亚哥的年近六旬的老渔夫，这是一次单身出海打鱼时，在一无所获的84天之后，钓到了第一条大鱼，老渔夫同鱼周旋了两天后才发现这是一条超过自己渔船数倍的大马林鱼，虽然明知很难取胜，但绝不放弃，与拖着小船游了整整两天两夜，老人经历了前所未有的艰难考验，终于把大马林鱼刺死在船头，而大马林鱼伤口上的鱼腥味却引来了好多群鲨鱼抢食，老人又与鲨鱼进行了殊死搏斗，在遇到鲨鱼的第五次袭击后，大马林鱼还是被鲨鱼吃光了，让他驾驶小船回到港口时，只剩下了一副大白骨架。

刚开始我不明白为什么如此坚强的人却会面临失败的结局，当我再阅读时，我恍然大悟，用小说中的话来说：一个人并不是生来就要被打败的，人可以被毁灭，但绝不能被打败，这表明了海明威的人生观和价值观。人生在世，每个人都会有缺点，每个人都可能面临失败，让一个认真尝试着去做好一件事情去战胜对手，重要的并不在于结果，也不在于成功和失败。只要他曾经奋斗过，努力过，那么它就是一个强者，就是一个胜利者 。

从表面看，老渔夫他是可悲的，并且不是最后的胜利者，因为尽管他捕获了大马林鱼，但是最终大马林鱼还是让鲨鱼吃了，只是带着大马林鱼的白骨架子回到了岸上，也就是说鲨鱼才是胜利者，可是老渔夫并不可怜，并不可悲。在海明威的世界里，只有这拥有真正向艰难困境挑战的人，才配拥有胜利的荣誉称号，而老渔夫正拥有了这些。

同时我也很喜欢那里面的那个孩子，在老人困难时给予帮助，在受伤时给予医药，在伤心时给予安慰……他是一个真正善良的人。

掩卷沉思，《老人与海》给的启示真的太多了!

我从小就喜欢看四大名著之一的《红楼梦》。因为，这里有着跌宕起伏的情节，栩栩如生的人物。每一个人物的性格、命运都是那样深深吸引着我。

今年夏天，我去北京旅游。在天安门广场、天坛、长城都看到了许许多多的游客。我一直有一个愿望：就是能到大观园看一看、瞧一瞧，因为，这里曾经是拍摄《红楼梦》的地方。我真想看一看小姐们住的屋子和花园，体会一下这里曾经发生的故事。

09年的8月14日，我来到向往已久的北京大观园。一进门，就看到了一座巨大的假山，翠绿的爬山虎已经把它全部覆盖住了，看起来这里真是一个绿色的清凉世界。假山周围有一圈花坛，花坛里盛开着五彩缤纷的花朵，把大观园的夏天装扮的分外的多姿。

我首先来到了林黛玉住的“潇湘馆”。她的屋外种的全是竹子，就连她所住的屋子也是由竹子做的，这竹子象征着她刚正不阿的性格。并且，我还发现，这里挂着许多演员陈晓旭的照片。因为这位演员把林黛玉演的很是传神，所以，多少年来人们心目中的林黛玉就成了她的样子。可惜她过早的离去，让人们非常怀念她。在她的屋后，我还惊奇地发现，有几棵梨子树上的梨子已经成熟，只可惜那丰硕的果实都掉到了地上和池塘里。

接下来，我又来到了薛宝钗住的“蘅芜苑”。她的屋外没有奇花只有异草，真是奇妙!她屋里的书籍非常多，书桌占了很大一部分位置，这说明，她是一位饱读诗书的小姐。最后，我来到了花花公子贾宝玉的住所“怡红院”，他屋子的牌匾上写的是“怡红快绿”四个字，他的屋子很大，里面的丫环很多，屋子里香气扑鼻，体现了他浓重的脂粉气息。

我在这里看到的景物，与在书上看到的似曾相识，仿佛真的来到了《红楼梦》的世界里，我想：读书真是一件有趣的事情啊!

《三国演义》是世界文学的典藏，是中国四大名著之一，这不仅因为它的语言雅俗共赏，环环紧扣，层层推近，更因为它把每个人都刻画地栩栩如生，每个人性格各异，个性鲜明。它是我最喜欢的书之一。

在《三国演义》中，我最喜欢的是诸葛亮，他足智多谋，刚出山就用三把火把曹操烧得狼狈不堪。他忠心耿耿，为重复汉室劳心劳累，鞠躬尽瘁，最后累死了。他博学多才，上知天文下晓地理，是世间不可多得的奇才。

可是，在曹操败走华容道的时候，诸葛亮偏偏派了一个曹操对他有恩的关羽去截曹操，结果就是让关羽为报恩放走了曹操。诸葛亮在整个《三国演义》中可以说是算遗策，明知道关羽重义重情，怎么会这么用人呢？如果你以为是诸葛亮用错了人，就大错特错了！

正是因为诸葛亮知道关羽一定会放走曹操，才故意安排关羽去守华容道的。当时曹操挟天子以令诸侯，对诸侯有制约作用，曹操如果死了，各路诸侯没人了制约，谁都不服谁，谁都压不住谁，到时候就出现你打我，我打他，天下大乱，民不聊生，天下百姓将陷入水深火热之中，最痛苦的就是平民百姓。诸葛亮是一个有大格局的人，不光考试眼前利益，还要为天下苍生考虑，那时候根本不能致曹操于死地，所以故意派了关羽去守华容道，让关羽报了这份恩情，从此以后再无瓜葛。

我当时读到这里，还觉得诸葛亮这次安排真可惜，就这么失去了杀死曹操的机会，要是换别人去，一定把曹操除掉了，哪里还用后面那么麻烦去对付曹操。可是看过名家分析才明白，原来事情不是么简单，我们做事情也不能只看眼前利益，让看清后果，不要为一点复利益而导致更大的祸事，做事要多动动脑子。

读完太宰治的书《人间失格》，这是儿子要求我给他买的书，看了说大吃一惊，为了避免儿子正因不恰当的阅读选取而影响了人生导向，我义不容辞的在拿到书的第一时刻自己先行阅读。书里有一句十分经典的话"生而为人，我很抱歉"儿子说他第一次听到这句话的时候，感动的哭了，正因他似乎读懂了太宰治的无奈和痛苦，他很期望我能阅读这本书，并且期望阅读能够给我带来关于人生的思考，当然，所谓思考那是必然，但是我更关注对儿子思想轨迹的了解，因此，他读的书，或者是他推崇的书，都是我必须要读的。

人间失格，即丧失了做人的资格，这是太宰治的自传体书札，纤细的自传体中透露出极致的绝望，太宰治巧妙地将自己的人生与思想，隐藏于主角叶藏的人生遭遇，借由叶藏的独白，表达自己的内心世界。整本书充满压抑和生活的混乱，正因无法理解自己生而为人的现实，使得叶藏一向生活在一种_和抽离的状态，也基于此，似乎他一向在生活的窘困之中无法自拔，金钱是永远没法解决的问题，辗转在一个又一个女生之间，藉此虚度生命，但并没有哪个女生能够令他找到生命的好处。他内心善良，总觉得他的行为似乎在对他人造成伤害，于是一次次的离去，但又总是无法逃脱命运的咒语，生活中永远是女生，能做的就是不断的用酒精医学专用自己，不断的把所有的东西送到当铺去，拿到的钱再变成酒，如此周而复始，最后沦为一个丧失行动力，靠画低级的漫画挣钱，靠自己的脸面去赊账的男生。为了生存，甚至于为了吗啡，总之，只要某个女生有什么他需要的东西能够给予，他都能够出卖自己的性和身体，在这本书里，不断的在看到这个苟活的男生内心世界的挣扎与一次次的崩塌，从书的最开始，我甚至于没有搞清楚为何，他会有那么强烈的人间失格的感受，这个世界真的不属于他吗?为何从幼年懵懂期的照片上，他就找不到内心真的归属?

其实我们大多数人，都并不知道来到这个世界的好处何在，但有些人在发奋中奋斗中寻找生命的好处，有些人却从很早就开始正因迷茫而放下，我不知道是上天怎样的安排，令这个原本富有才华的男生，这个临死但是才38岁的男生的一生竟是如此悲怆?好在最后，他最后自己做了一回主，跳河_身亡，生而为人，他很抱歉，但是死去的太宰治并不知道，他选取_，会对更多的人抱歉，总是说_是最不负职责的选取，就算是在宗教里面，_的灵魂也是无法解脱的，而这些，不知道太宰治是否知道，他的灵魂又是否能够逃脱那纵身跃下的冰河，每一世的功课总要做完，没有做完的就算是想逃跑，大概也只是徒增留级的悲哀吧。

儿子和我说起所谓的"日，本性"，就是日本人在战后所谓的_妄想症，他们丧失了战前的勇猛和励志，总觉得自己是罪人，那种根深蒂固的感觉影响了日本的文化，而那个1948年就_的太宰治是不是也与生俱来的有所谓的"日，本性"呢?

这是一本需要带着自己坚定的价值观去阅读的书，贴合日本文学一贯的写作手法，有超多的内心描述，让人沉溺其中感觉世界都灰暗起来，我不知道儿子的年龄看了这本书会有怎样的体会，还是期望他能够多一些思考和决定，而不是陷入其中，好在一齐买的还有村上春树的《当我跑步时我在谈什么》，至少这是一本用心向上的书。这是两本在他们同学中间广泛传播的书，也期盼这些日本的文化能对他们这一代有正面的影响。

世上再无任何一部小说能够和《红楼梦》一样为众多的读者痴迷，为众多的专家所研究。一座大观园，让人引发了多少联想、多少渴望。林黛玉和贾宝玉的爱情悲剧是这部书的主线索，而《红楼梦》不仅仅限于此，而是更多地描绘了世间百态、风俗人情和众多小人物的辛酸。

“一年三百六十日，风刀霜剑严相逼”这句诗来描绘林黛玉的性格是再贴近不过的了。对于黛玉而言，宝玉是她唯一喜爱的人。黛玉虽然生活得锦衣玉食，却深受寄人篱下之苦。读罢全文，就会发现黛玉对宝玉的爱是专一的，是不允许任何人插手的。

而宝玉，作为怡红公子的他，是一个“年少不知愁滋味”的贵族公子，他天资聪颖，但却视功名利禄如粪土，是一个与当时社会格格不入的人。但作者在他的身上寄托了对封建社会的不满，对理想生活的美好追求。贾宝玉身上还存在着另一个人性的闪光点;那就是对下层贫苦人们的同情，宝玉对待他的丫鬟们也没有盛气凌人的态度，而是一种平等真诚的态度。这也是相当难能可贵的。

此外，《红楼梦》中也有其他的一些人物。比如“机关算尽太聪明，反而误了卿卿性命”的王熙凤，还有精明能干、处事圆滑的薛宝钗，还有纯朴善良、幽默滑稽的刘姥姥。人间百态，各种人物都刻画得栩栩如生。

《红楼梦》中的每个人物都有自己的特点，没有绝对的好人也没有真正的坏人，这是不同与中国古代其他小说的特点。读《红楼梦》给人留下深刻印象的就是人物的肖像描写，“两弯似蹙非蹙罥烟眉，一双似喜非喜含情目。”但看黛玉的眉和眼，就生动形象地勾勒出黛玉多愁善感的性情。

I have never been to Troy, but David Maule made me feel as if I were standing on the high wall of Troy, watching the fierce war. It was really a tragedy that such a valiant man died in the duel with another great warrior, Achilles.

It is natural to see death in a war. As a famous Chinese parable says, “A life can be as slight as a piece of feather, or as weighty as Mount Tai.” Sometimes, one’s glory walks hand in hand with one’s doom. Achilles was such a typical person. His personal charm made The Story of Troy more attractive. He was so crucial because his every appearance in a war encouraged his fellow soldiers and terrified the enemies. Actually, Achilles was half-god who was almost invincible in people’s mind. 《飘》，是我最喜爱的书。喜欢斯佳丽的勇敢坚强，喜欢瑞特的机智果断，喜欢玫兰妮的外柔内刚。
