雷锋是个爱帮助人的解放军。五月的一天，雷锋冒雨要去沈阳，他为了赶早车，走得急，带几个馒头披上雨衣就匆匆忙忙的上路了。路上，他看见一位妇女身背一个孩子，手上还领着一个孩子，正在雨中艰难的行走着。雷锋见此情景，急忙走上前去，将自己的雨衣披在这位妇女身上，妇女急忙说：“小兄弟，我穿着雨衣，你在雨中淋湿了怎么办？”雷锋挥挥手亲切的说：“没事儿，我们解放军的责任就是为人民服务！”上车后，雷锋见小女孩冷得发抖，又把自己的贴身线衣脱给她穿。他估计妇女没吃早饭，便将自己带的几个馒头都给了妇女。不一会，火车就到了沈阳，雷锋又一直把他们送回家，到家了，妇女热泪盈眶的说：“小兄弟，谢谢你，你叫什么名字？我该怎样感谢你？”雷锋从容不迫的说：“我的名字叫解放军，您不用感谢我！因为我们的责任是为人民服务！”那一刹那，妇女眼中的热泪流了出来。

雷锋叔叔虽然在一场意外事故中不幸牺牲了，但他那一个个帮助人的感人事迹会一代代的被人们铭记，人们会铭记着他那乐于助人、团结友爱和乐于奉献的精神。雷锋叔叔是全国人民的榜样，也是我的榜样，更是我崇拜的人。
