Saving Water

The world is not only hungry,but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earths surface is covered with water. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink and use the other 3% -- the fresh water that comes from rivers, lakes,underground, and other sources. And we cannot even use all of that, because some of it is in the form of icebergs and glaciers. Even worse, some of it has been polluted.

However, as things stand today, this small amount of fresh water, which is constantly being replaced by rainfall, is still enough for us. But our need for water is increasing rapidly-- almost day by day. Only if we take steps to deal with this problem now can we avoid a severe worldwide water shortage later on. Halloween

Halloween is an autumn holiday that Americans celebrate every year. It means "holy evening," and it comes every October 31, the evening before All Saints Day. However, it is not really a church holiday, it is a holiday for children mainly.

当一阶段的学期结束就一味着要毕业，着是个逃避不了的话题。

其实，毕业就是校长把以前为你们准备的“开学典礼”的横幅硬扯了下来，然后换上了崭新的“毕业典礼”。

在以前毕业历史中，都是有人欢喜有人悲。不过，那些喊着“文化革命大解放了”欢呼的人，都会享受一顿“海扁+鄙视”的超级套餐。曾经的毕业班面临毕业时就像面前摆着一套”大杯具“，学长们脸上都写着“我是好学生，我懂得感恩”，然后一把鼻涕一把泪，鸭子似的唱了两遍“感恩的心”，再下台抱着老师哭的死去活来的，恨不得要感动中国(无语中……)。

要毕业了，这一刻啊，我们那个激动啊(升级的时候谁不激动啊)!这时候，我们都把高兴写在脸上，没有一个人不识趣地掉眼泪(撒花，撒花，我们创造了新历史耶)。

至于抱着老师哭嘛，这种行为是不懂事的表现(至少我个人是这么认为的)，当然，拥抱一下也无所谓啦，不过我还是不赞成这种“用老师的肩膀擦眼泪”的做法(相信你也不敢这么做，纠正一下误会，“用老师的肩膀擦眼泪”在这里指的是“像小孩一样依赖地抱着老师嚎啕大哭”)。

所谓的“毕业了”，就是“成长了”。我们的校园就像是一棵葱郁的大树，我们像是刚长满羽毛的雏鹰，总有一天要离开这棵大树，飞向蓝天。就算从天上摔下来，也不可能再回到那棵树上，会有一个声音叫道：“再来一次!”(同学：这谁啊?这么凶!我：谁知道那是哪只雏鹰的中学老师……)

I used to pouring away the water directly after I using it. Someday, my

In my life I have met many people who are really worth mentioning.But perhaps the most unforgettable person I have ever known is my English Teacher.

It is his special quality that is always kept in my memory.

For one thing,I was attracked by his wide range of knowledge.I remember that we students always attended his class with great eaherness because his lectures were humourously delivered,and he never failed to give us valuable advice.Nothing seemed difficult to learn after his explanation.

For another,I was deeply impressed by the respect he showed for us.As he treated us like friends rather than students,we all liked to visit his home for social activities as well as for advice.

Although it is over a year now since I attended his last class,he is the talk of our old classmates,and I know part of him has already stayed in my heart.
